[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
(12-08-2018, 07:42 PM)Iron Wrote:

Since everyone else has already well moved on with their respective activities and I'm still rather busy, I'll keep things brief(ish)!

- Terra does indeed touch down and dismounts from Angie, though probably only after being clued in on how.....noticeable it would be for him to fly in on a giant Dragon. He's still rather clueless about things socialwise and not the best at long term thinking, after all! He's also pretty happy that Juni's safely and securely behind bars (for now), which goes a long way into making him more approachable/friendly to/with strangers.

- As for his many choice for what he wants to trade away his Pokemon, they are the following: He trades Pansage for the three rare Monkey Pokedolls (They're a collector's Item, plus they're cute!), Farfetch'd for access Kookodile's Cooking Class (His curious to learn more about how to properly prepare foods, and he's been motivated to learn more thanks to Nathan), and TM Fissure from that Hiker (Which he's rather surprised by the fact they have a rare OHKO TM, let alone willing to part with it for two Overgrown Victreebell, but doesn't hesitate to take it!). Overall, I choose more Items/Resources over Poke!
* In regards to the Cooking Class, one of two things will happen: If he immediately gets the Free Chemistry Point upon accepting the class mechanically, I want to spend 6 XP to gain 1 Point of Science: Chemistry before hand to try and optimize the 'free' Specialty Point. If he will only get the Free Point after a full in game week has passed, then no XP will be currently spent. The reason why he's learning Chemistry over Crafting is both simple and funny IC: He's dumb and/or foolish enough to accidentally learn about/more the Chemistry of cooking/other stuff than actually improving the Crafting of said food/other stuff. Talk about getting the wrong idea from a lesson! OOC, I just don't want to overlap too much with Phantom's niches, and they can do a better job of Crafting stuff than Terra ever could, so why not leave all that to her?

- For the Items , he trades them all away for the Poke, resulting in the sagely monk acquiring a net $47500!!! He's rich, oh yeeeeaaah! In particular, he's rather interested learning more about in the Aipom Orange re-introduction into the wild , and he almost immediately requests a written contract that would guaranteed him that cut of grant money/Post Game Income, as his Mama and Papa taught him to ALWAYS get long term deals in print and/or on record so nothing untold happens. If a contract is not an option, he'll ask them to make a voice recording stating that he'd get that cut and send it to him/his superiors.

- After selling his King's Armaments, he'll go shopping around town for a large machete, or a blacksmith to commission one/a sword made for him. He still wants to learn sword fighting from Gallade, so he has to get a replacement blade for the one he sold!

- With his newfound wealth in Poke and a mind for future readiness, he's going to stock up more on some important Items at the Pokemart, which involves purchasing: 2 Potions ($400), 2 Super Potions ($1400 [Super Potions cost $700, right?]), 1 Hyper Potion ($1200), 1 Max Potion ($1700 or $2500 [How much do they cost in your campaign again, Iron?), 1 Paralyze Heal ($200), 2 Revives ($3000), 5 Poke Balls ($1000), 3 Great Balls ($1800), and 1 Ultra Ball ($1200), which in total costs = $10200 + $1700/2500 Poke, leaving him with a net total gain of $37300 - $1700/$2500 Poke without accounting for the cost of purchasing a machete/sword. A hefty sum to be sure, but hey, its all going towards the good cause of keeping his/other Pokemon healthy and happy, plus catching new ones to sell later!

- Lastly, since he's a bit worn out from his adventures/exploration/conflicts he's engaged in 2014 + the Volcanic Jungle Period but not quite ready to rest/be idle, he'll go out foraging for Berries with Melly and Bastiodon,, wanting to spend more quality to with his doggie and dino. Nothing like ending the day with harvesting more of the bounty of Nature!
* ....Before going off to Forage, though, he will make a stop by the Pokemon Center to switch out Angie for Genie, and sometime during the Berry Foraging in the far outskirts of Cress he'll teach her Fissure. Not without seriously and gravely impressing the warning of not to use the Move unless she has his explicit and implicit permission for her to do so, however, explaining that Fissure is like Explosion or a poorly thought out Discharge: an extremely dangerous Move with the potential to cause HUGE damage to anything caught up in it, which include property damage, innocent bystanders, and who knows what else. After its clear he's impressed the severity and responsibility of Fissure onto the Dragon Djinn of the Desert, he tells her to use the Move on a large patch of plains/grassland far away from him and Melly, as he wants to see a demonstration of just how powerful Fissure is for him/her, as well as just testing it out.

Once all the above is accounted for and dealt with, Terra be ready and raring for the next day!

(Note for Everyone with valuables/Pokemon they want to sell: Might want to sell them in Cress while you still have the chance, like the Sapphire/Shiny Shuckle from Shiva, the Artifacts that Heart collected, or anything Nathan might have grabbed. Just FYI!)

In short, yes.

I forgot to answer you about the cooking class: It starts right away, but you don't gain the point until week's end, so you can invest in Chem in the next seven days.

The botanist sends you a memo on official Telperion Professor stationery. That will have to serve as a contract. It does have a signature.

A machete you can have for 200 poke. A sword, 600.

Item costs are in your inventory sheet.

Survival: (3)(1)(3)(5)(4)
(5)(4), (3)(1) - Pecha, Chesto berry.

From Genie's back, you snatch up a Jumpluff seed, which looks like a brown speck with a white tuft coming out of it. Several dozen of these make up each of Jumpluff's bunches.

(Oh, okay! Thanks for answering my earlier question, mate! Time to start Terra on the path to becoming even more of an idiot savant!)

Terra's fine with the memo, as it serves just as well as a record of the transaction and deal for his cut of grant money later down the line.

He'll buy a sword then for $600 Poke then, if its avaliable!

Most likely, the monk wouldn't recognize a Jumpluff's Seed as anything more than an curious little seed , but he keeps it anyway just in case and to show off to Shiva later, as he knows she would appreciate it like he does and maybe could identify it for him too.

Since you didn't mention anything concerning Fissure, I'll assume all that happened without incident offscreen! Onwards to the next day!

(Not yet, first I will do a few things)

After the meeting with Tanuki, Heart rush to find someone to take out the items of Rhyhorn hide. Might find something useful there.

Second, putting 1 point of craft to begin to build the Moltres pyre to burn up. I supose it is Insight (3) + Knowldge (3) + Craft (1) = 7D6. I also will burn some of the incense Shiva gave to keep Moltres Egg warm.

Heart when putting Pinsir to trade, he put as price 1 one of those TMs: Poison Jab, Swords Dance, Ice Beam, Shadow Claw or some of those interesting TM and along with Honcrown (or only the Honcrown if that option not be permited) what moves and ability that Dark Bird have @Iron? The Rhyhorn after have the item out of the hide have a good price: Three of the say TMs (since the last time Heart trade a Overgrown Pokemon, Heart get 3 TMs so I will put a price on that) or another Ovegrown Pokemon/ Rare Pokemon/ Tandorian Pokemon. This gonna be the price of those two Pokemon.

In that case, Spira will spend an Encounter at the Cemetery to see if he can find any Ghost Pokemon or the like. Once that's done, I'll be ready for the next day.

The only thing you ever said is that this pretty Ball increases the rate of gained Loyalty: https://pokemonuranium.co/forum/showthre...y#pid28253 If there's more to it, I'll be happy to find out along the way.

Lolz! That's also sweet by you to. ^^ I don't really wish to sell/trade that Shiny Shuckle of mine though for now, it can make Berry Juice for me, has +1 Vitality at the cost of -1 Strength and -1 Dext, and can neatly defuse speedy foes due to knowing Sticky Web, Stealth Rock and Infestation! Might be useful in future battles.

It's very sweet for Shiva to feel the connection to her flowerly sunbringer a bit stronger now through this selfmade and beautiful Ball. She lets Nightshade make herself a home in there before she'll be summoned again to play a bit with the other Cherubi and Cherrim here in the Park if she likes, all under the last warm rays of the setting sun.  One day, Nightshade will be able to concentrate the energy of the sun into a devasting beam of light - laying backwards in the grass and pine needles while Raphael circles high up in the sky, Shiva can't help but to smile carefully to herself at that imagination.

She'll do one more thing before turning in for the night right here while Delphox provides warmth and Pangoro provides protection to her and the Eggs: She's starring at the screen of her phone, ponders whether she really should do that or would be better off to not to that. Her heart screams a longing 'yes', while her senses are telling her 'don't'. Hearing Raphael, bless this benelovent fae archangel, starting to sing in a melodic voice in his flight once more, is enough for Shiva to follow her desire and dial the number: It's Ventus' number. If he's having the time, she'll talk in length with him about his recent research, about both of their Pokemon, about this and that, including a bit of sweet talk, she lets him know that Raphael is doing fine and that she mostly just wished to hear his voice. That she mostly wished to do so after having traveled through various times via Celebi's will, she better leaves out. After having hung up eventually - it's dark by now - she'll prepare for the night here in Celebi Park. That'll be all.

If either Iron or Windos are up to give me and Shiva a quick response on how the oddball of a Pokemon Sociologist is doing, that'd be appreciated! It's no 'must' though. I'm wondering though how he'd react if she'd be to tell him that Raphael has learnt a Fairy Type move under her care - more positively or more negatively?

EDIT: That Petilil Egg Delibird has found here in Celebi Park is said to hatch on Day 70.

If you take the items out of Rhyhorn, that will actually drop his value and you wouldn't be able to get the Beldum. Especially since it costs money to get the items removed.

Any of those TMs you listed would be a fair trade for Pinsir, but you wouldn't get both a TM and a Honchkrow. You'd have to pick one or the other, because Honchkrow alone is a fair trade for Pinsir.

Here's the Krow's stats after trading:
2/2/3
Super Luck
Night Slash, Sucker Punch, Pursuit, Haze, Wing Attack, Swagger, Night Shade

Pyre building: (6)(6)(1)(3)(6)(2)(3)

You succeed in building a mini-bonfire on the outskirts of Cress, or in the camping area of Celebi Park if you prefer. The Egg absorbs the flames and heat and scent and becomes the pleasant red color you saw in the volcano. That's a good sign that the Egg is pleased with your work.

A Friend Ball made by Almanac will work like a Ranc Berry.

BUT

A Friend Ball made from a rare Green Apricorn is even better. It immediately raises Friendship by 1 point, to a maximum of 4.

Ventus is very frazzled. He doesn't seem himself. You are able to deduce that he has also been LURCHED through time, which he totally hates. He did find a weird stone he wants to research, thinking it may have something to do with Reshiram.

(What if I trade Rhyhorn for Krow and 4 or 3 TMs I have mentioned? Since it's a Overgrown Pokemon with Hard Stone, a Metal Coat along with other items. And I don't need another Beldum since I already have the Egg and another Beldum in my PC.)
