Megahorn 1
(6)(5)(6)(3)(2)(4) (5) It's a critical hit. The weight difference is just so extreme.
(5)(6)(4)(4)(5)(6)(2) Castform takes 6 dmg.

Rudd sighs. "Sometimes it's just not worth crawling out of my sleeping bag. Castform, Rain Dance."

Rain Dance 1
(3)(2)(4)(6)
The weather turned rainy. Half the town is under rainclouds now.

"Alright, that's really all I can do, I guess. Just...overwhelming power. Castform, return."

Castform forfeits, leaving Nathan the victor! Every time Rudd glances at your eyes, he flinches a little, but as the battle ends the effect dies down.

"So, you'll be going on Safari with this money?"

Nathan's Pokemon get 8XP each, and Nathan 12 XP.

Swiftfire prances a little more, proud of her strength, the rain steaming off of her mane and tail.  She only needed one Megahorn each to take out two pokemon!  Woohoo!  She also gains an additional 2 XP from her Lucky Egg! (also, since I only needed two pokemon to beat three, can Orthros and Swiftfire split the remaining 8 leftover XP so they both get 12 each?  Then the totals will make more sense, too.)

"When you're facing an opponent with both raw strength and powerful moves, yeah, it can kinda difficult to find time to set up offensive buffs."

When asked about whether he plans to go on safari with the prize money, Nathan responds, "Yup, that's the plan.  Might have to do another battle or two so I don't completely wipe my funds out, though...oh, hey, so, you've been in there already, right?  Out of curiosity, did you happen to see or hear about anyone seeing blue Parasect that are kinda luminous?"

Yes you can do that. Forgot you only used 2.

"Yeah, I can't stop going on Safari. It's so fun! Know anyone else I could battle, maybe someone a little easier?"

"A blue Parasect! Gah! Yeah, I saw it! It glows in the dark and in the daylight! I was deep in Area 5 when I saw a weird moving shadow across my tent. Repels don't work super well on Safari Zone Pokemon, not that deep inside at least. Not even the strong stuff they put on tents. I stuck my head out to investigate and I sure regret it. A glowing blue dome, bright blue eyes, and snicking claws! Gah! I'd leave Area 5 and 6 alone if I were you."

Cute and a good call what you've done with Assist! I'd like for Purrloin to stay out and try getting off her remaining Actions despite the inaccuracy. I'm about to turn in for the night though, so no need to hurry rolling that out.

Heart return Honedge and in his place, came the giant flying rock serpent Delta Onix. He show aerodynamic body circling around the battlefield. Until he stop at the side of Heart. "Woad, may I present to you: Delta Onix! Delta Pokemon is pokemon with different types of their counter parts, capable of learning different moves and having different abilities. This beauty a friend of mine capture and let me take care of him when we make our journey though Mt. Sentry. Are you ready to face our Delta Power?"

Yeah that's an unfortunate matchup no matter what. I think it's more the matchup than the dice, 'cause even Stun Spore wouldn't have changed much.

Lapis: (5) + 7 = 12, higher than Klefki

Shieldmaiden Brazen Round 2

Coil 1
(4)(1)(4)(2)(3)(1)
+1 Str, Def, Acc! That's 7 defense, same as Klefki. And just a fewwww more HP.

Play Rough 1
(3)(6)(5)(2)(3)(2) (6)
(5)(1) Milotic takes 1 dmg 25/26
(2)

Wrap 2
(1)(2)(2)(1)(5) (6*) Good decision to use Will against those traitorous dice. Remind me to give you guys some Will if you ever have a period of rest in Teazel Valley.
No damage.

Play Rough 2
(4)(1)(2)(3)(3)(5)
(4)(6) Milotic takes 2 dmg 23/26hp -1 pain
(4)
"I learned long ago not to over-prepare!"

Water Gun 3
(5)(2)(5)
(2) No damage.

Play Rough 3
(5)(2)(6)(1)(5)
(4)(3) Milotic takes 1 dmg 22/26hp -1 pain
(5)

Water Gun 4
(1)(2)(4)
(5) Klefki takes 1 dmg 9/11hp -1 pain

Play Rough 4
(3)(6)(1)
(4)(5) Milotic takes 2 dmg 20/26
(6) +1 from Competitive!

Water Gun 5
(5)(5)
(4)(4) Klefki takes 2 dmg 7/11hp -1 pain

Play Rough 5
(5)(3)
(5)(2) Milotic takes 1 dmg 19/26hp

Wrap: (5)(6) Klefki takes 2 dmg 5/11hp -2 pain.

Brazen cannot swap, of course! Lapis' crushing is a lot more effective than a percussive attack like Mach Punch.

Hehehehehe.  You know what that means?  Time for another fireworks display!

As Swiftfire is prancing around, she decides to have a little more fun and shoot some fire into the sky!

Which Fire move is she using, though, you're asking?

Well, the image briefly and almost literally burned into the sky before the Rain turns it into steam is a dead giveaway.

Nathan chuckles again.  "Yup, like I said, getting stronger every day.  You be extra careful with that move now, Swiftfire.  It's almost as Lethal as Inferno, if not moreso."

*neeeeiiiigh*  *continues prancing in celebration*

Nathan thinks for a moment.  "Hmmm...can't say I can think of anyone who might be 100% easier to beat than me.  Everyone I'm traveling with is pretty capable in some fashion, so you'd have your work cut out for ya to beat any of them, to be perfectly honest.  Their pokemon are all generally bulkier than mine, too, even though mine are quite a bit faster for the most part."

Nathan raises an eyebrow.  "Oh, so you've seen one too, huh?  Any guesses what type it is?  All I know about that Delta Parasect is that description and that it's definitely not a Water type.  Think it might be part Ghost type or something?  And it appeared during the night, based on what I just heard from you?"  Contrary to what the Camper was probably expecting, Nathan was not dissuaded from exploring areas 5 and 6 just from the description of an exceptionally creepy Parasect...oh, and while Nathan is generally spooked by Skull Ruins Ghosts, he's perfectly fine with (most) Ghosts that don't have any strong ties to the place.

(Note: Play Rough should have a 1D6 Chance to lower STR, Iron, which would effectively translate to a + 1 in STR due to Competitive, which would give Lapis + 2 to STR in total. Its not much of a boost, but it's there!)

Since blasting away at Klefki with hydro power and compacting them is working so well, Terra and Lovely together decide that another four Water Guns are in order for the ring o' keys. Its grinding time!

Order: Four Water Guns per Round for now on, until - 2 Pain hits, in which case all subsequent Rounds after - 2 Pain happens will have 3 Water Guns. If the steel fae bugger is still up after Wrap wears off, substitute the first Water Gun with Wrap to prevent it from escaping. I will not let that trickster get away without becoming thoroughly sodden!

Move:

Water Gun
Accuracy: 10D6 Base Dice + 1 Accuracy - 1 Accuracy - 1 Pain - 4/5/6/7 Actions = 5/4/3/2D6 Dice
Damage: Still 1D6, unless Competitive Procs, in which case it will be 2D6
Effect: Ziltch

Wrap goes off at the end of the Round until Round 5.
