Very simple battles, really."

"Hmmmm, okay...so being able to catch pokemon from the more difficult areas to explore could potentially be a big advantage, but more Disobedient ones could also be more of a hinderance than a help...are you only allowed to use the pokemon caught in that time period, though?  And you have to catch at least one or two pokemon to be able to participate, right?"

"Right. ONLY the Pokemon you catch during the tournament. I guess you'd need to catch at least 1 Pokemon. More will increase your chances. You can only bring six with you at any time, but you have PC access and you can use items in between battles to heal your Pokemon. Revives are pretty important if you have a smaller team. Nurse Joy can heal small cuts and bruises without any items (she can heal up to -2 pain instantly without any items being necessary). You only get about 2 hours between battles, not much time to rest up. People have won in the past with a team of like 8 Beautifuly with Giga Drain."

"Heh. Nice work D-ONIX. You deserve some rest." Heart return D-ONIX and look at Woad. "2 fainted pokemon and more 4 to go. I still some path to go. Here my next Pokemon! Natu! Come!"

Heart release the future sight pokemon who once again was in Heart head. "Heh, this little one join me when I was in top layer of the Skull Ruins. He help quite a lot in Teleportation, but he is pretty good in battle."
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

Eevee: (2), going last

Frappe and Ginseng Round 3

Eevee is eager to get to it!

Helping Hand 1
(6)(4)(5)(1)(1)(3) He stumbles a bit but does assist Cottonee!

Nuzzle 1 on Cottonee
(4)(1)(6)(2)(4)(5)(6)(3) Critical hit.
(4)(4)(4) Cottonee takes 2 dmg 4/7hp -1 pain
Cottonee was paralyzed, canceling out the assist.

Giga Drain 1
(6)(1)(2)(2)(3)(5) (6)
(5)(6)(2)(2)(2)(3) (5)(5) Raichu takes 4 dmg 3/8hp -2 pain
Cottonee heals 2 hp 6/7hp

Helping Hand 2
(2)(6)(6)(4)(3)

Nuzzle 2 on Eevee this time.
(6)(5)(1)(2)(3)
(3) No damage, but Eevee is paralyzed. The twins are talking a mile a minute about how cute smol Eevee is. You think you even hear an offer to buy him from you. Frappe has taken out a Cincinno which is riding on his head. He's running back and forth with the Pokemon, who is spinning around and around on his head and pointing excitedly at Eevee.

Dazzling Gleam 2
(1)(5)(5)(5)(2)(6) (5) Critical hit. All these buffs are making crits really common.
(1)(4)(5)(2)(1)(6) (2)(4)(5)(3) Raichu faints.
Cottonee is gorgeous as she debuts her move!

This battle was worth 32 XP to spread among your Pokemon. And half for you!

Woad raises his hands, and a Shedinja rises from the ground! Woad looks a little disappointed when he sees Natu.
