Did you bring anything from the past that could be sold as an antique?
Also, there is a pawn shop (Trading Post) in Teazel Valley. You can create a tab there if you leave something as collateral. You could leave your entire collection of Pokeballs (useless in the Safari Zone) as collateral for the $1875, then sell something you catch in the Safari Zone to get them back.
You could also leave a Pokemon as collateral, but that's not very nice and could cost Happiness or Loyalty. (would the salvaged Scimitar gear work for collateral? If not, I'll go with the Pokeballs)
Sure. And you don't think the guy working the Trading Post is the guy to know or care about this illicit technology.

To not cause trouble, or make Chespin and the wood pokemon upset, Heart decide to play along with the others, making the gestures and medidate like the other Pokemon. Maybe that way he may learn a bit of the magestic of the Eartpower since Chespin it's some kind of Spiritual Leader? If not at least this might please Chespin and make him more volunteer to join with Heart.
Did Heart need to do some kind of medidation roll Iron?
When Heart makes the gestures, he doesn't feel any answering surge of Earthpower. He can conclude that either you have to be a Pokemon, or you have to understand what Chespin is saying. Chespin doesn't seem to mind that he can see Heart playing along on the sidelines, but they don't make any room for you in the circle of woodland creatures.
At one point, however, Chespin makes a gesture you've heard of in your travels - the Opening of the Third Eye. It's just a hand signal, there's no visible third eye, but it's supposed to let a mystic see more than is visible in light. After doing that, and looking at Heart for a while, Chespin's eyebrows shoot up into his hat and he spares you a smile before continuing his lesson.
Heart accompany for a while the lesson, shooting a eyebrow when Chespin looks to him in the Opening of the Third Eye. He did remember hearing something in his travels. Maybe Chespin have something around Heart mission in guard a Moltres Egg? Or maybe his power he get from Jirachi Wish Tags?
After what appears be a long time, Heart approach Chespin and bow in respect when the meditation session have ended. "I sorry I have interrupt your lesson noble Mystic Leader. My name is Heart and this Trevenant is my companion Viktor. It's nice to meet you. You seen like a strong and also wise Pokemon. I could also be consider a pilgrimage, doing my best to learn more and become a more wise leader. I want to rebuild my long destroyed clan and I want to learn to be a more wise and mercy leader. Your help both in the battles and in teaching me could help me become a better leader."
Chespin gestures, indicating that you may ask him any questions you have.
Heart then begin to make a few questions. "Since you can't speak human language, just nod the head with yes or not."
1 - Are you some kind of Spiritual Leader around here in this place?
2 - Are you a Pokemon who is together with a another trainer?
3 - If not, are you a native Pokemon from this place?
4 - If I could ask you to join in my party, would you accept?
5 - If not, there is any kind of test I should do to prove I am worth in be your trainer?
6 - Did you learn the Opening Third Eye yourself?
7 - Did someone teach you?
8 - Was here in this valley?

Heart nod in agreement. "Alright then. I would like you to join with me, to discover more and more about the secrets of this region. And to also join me in future battle. Bring your test Chespin. I ready."

A late spring Sawsbuck steps forward from the circle of animals, its fur a shiny white instead of the usual brown. Chespin nods, and Sawsbuck paws his hooves in front of Heart. The massive deer Pokemon leaps right over Heart's head and speeds off into nature. Chespin gestures after the Sawsbuck. Heart's test is clear - if he can find and touch the white Sawsbuck, Chespin will consider him worthy!

Yes, Shiva would search for things from the art category, I don't know anything I'd specifically search supplies for at the moment, but definitely interested in things the Nature Mailorder would sell. If there's a flora category or something into that direction to search for useful plants especially (not necessarily for medicine), I might choose that one the next time. For now we'll focus on supplies instead of Pokemon, so skipping anything Minccino-related is fine.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the log gate closes behind her and a swarm of bird Pokemon flies over her head, Shiva's excitement receives a strong boost and she flinches a bit as her heart starts to race. NOW, she knows, she CAN'T turn back anymore, deep inside her she knows she doesn't even WANT to turn back. She takes a few minutes to calm down and let her gaze wander over the visible area, still getting used to the fact that she now was within the infamous Safari Zone, the place she has heard several times already.
Now, she's able to experience this place herself, only accompanied by her Pokemon - Reshiram shall burn her alive if she won't try hard to make it a pleasant experience! She's a bit unsure however without someone from the party around and all the bugs rustling in the area remind her on Fireweed Forest, but there are Rangers just in case. She'll be safe if she doesn't engage in any obviously dangerous or stupid activities and watches her steps, or so she at least tells herself over and over.
Shiva loooves how this place is more left to Mother Nature's hands, soon her initial worries are secondary. On the map she has bought earlier she immediately marks the location of trees that catch her attention, for example the one to collect bark from later to fold it into a nice basket. :> She also tries the water from the river she's following as she passes Area 1 - It it drinkable water? Vaporeon can help her determine as they prefer clean bodies of water.
About the things Shiva finds I'll elaborate a bit after the battle 'gainst Scolipede, but it's safe to assume that the feather will make her heart skip two beats.
Blinking in the sunlight and shielding her eyes a bit, Shiva looks up the grassy slope she has came to a halt at. These wild Whirlipede make her all nervous and jumpy, but she trusts that as long as she doesn't cross their direct path they'll leave her alone. As that fully evolved SCOLIPEDE however has choosen that female human that has crossed its territory as a target, Shiva fails to hold back a loud and high-pitched cry that scares up some small bird Pokemon on a nearby tree. This is exactly the kind of scenario that she was eager to avoid, it takes a moment for her to remember that she prepared herself for this scenario too however! Taking a firm stance as she tries to handle her ruffled nerves, Shiva immediately summons two Pokemon between herself and the poisonous centipede: It's Delphox accompanied by Primal Glaceon! Both let out an agitated cry and take a protective posture, their message was clear: If you want to get to that human, you have to get past US at first.
"That's the spirit I'd like to see from you two!", Shiva praises them, trying hard to keep a clear voice. "Let us make short shrift of that bug and then resume our path. Remember though, we may NOT faint them as that's not allowed here in the area, so please channel your power accordingly! Keep a safety distance as well, see those claws and throwns? Delphox, my dear.... *dramatic break* You got my allowance to BLAST 'em, show me what you learnt from Noble Arcanine. You, Glaceon, concentrate on your origins and hit the foe with its might! Foe's still a bug after all, just a... huge one...."
-----------------------------------------------------
Not awaiting the Init Order as it won't have influence on my choosen actions.
Accuracy Roll Delphox' debut of radiant BLAST BURN 1: 4 Dext + 2 Fight + 5 Channel - 1 Inaccuracy - 2 Actions = 8d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 6 power of the move + STAB + held Charcoal = 11d6! And +1 autodamage due to SE, Blaze might add more.
Additional notes: Maximum firepower!~ Lethality is held back of course. I imagine it looking like this when my fox uses this move.
Accuracy Roll Exhaustion after hitting: No need.
Additional notes: It says that '...the User must rest with its first action on the next Round...' on page 272, shouldn't it be the next Action though with our rules??? Basically, this Actions is meant for recharge.
Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Ancient Power 1: 4 Dext + 2 Fight + 5 Channel - 2 Actions = 9d6
Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Ancient Power 2: 4 Dext + 2 Fight + 5 Channel - 3 Actions = 8d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 2 power of the move, no STAB = 5d6 +1 autodamage due to SE.
Additional notes: Primal Powers activated! 1 CD to increase Strength, Dexterity, Vitality and Insight by 1 each.
In case Scolipede attempts to attack Shiva directly, Delphox shall intercept - he hopefull will given his high Loyalty and task to protect his Master from Poison Types. In worst case, Shiva will evade as best as possible. The moment either Delphox or Primal Glaceon get poisoned, Shiva will heal that with an Antidote.

"Consider it's done!" Heart then follow Sawsbuck path, to make sure he is not very much behind. Trevenant is with him, trying to keep it up with him. "That Pokemon is very much quick! Might need some aerial vision." Heart release then Honcrown and Heracross. He also release Ambipom for better manager in trees. "Guys, time for us to work together. We are trying to find a gold furr Sawbuck. It's have shiny white colors so it's pretty much difficult to miss. Do not attack him, just inform me about his location. Honcrown and Heracross will patrol from the sky for his location. Ambipom, use the trees to balance around and have a vision of his location."
Heart then look at Viktor. "Viktor, use your power power of control trees to make obstacles to make SawsmSaw path more difficult for to get a chance to get closer."

See, I'm a Shieldmaiden, the traditional warriors of the League. Our job is to defend and protect Trainers and Pokemon in the region. The Shieldmaidens are a ceremonial order, women only, but there are men with our exact same job description and resources. They just aren't decked out in the same ceremonial regalia."
"The most dangerous part of the Safari is called Area Six. It's a smaller area, toward the rear, and contains some higher elevations and denser vegetation. All kinds of dangerous Pokemon in there, from Bouffalant to Nidoking. There are even said to be dragon Pokemon hiding in the waters of Area Six! The dangerous Pokemon correspond to rarer Pokemon, too, because very few trainers ever go there. Most who do are Gym Leaders or trainers with a lot of badges, or high level League authorities."
I won't bother rolling the Pidgey capture, yeah.
Digging Gear: $500.
Super Rod: $10,000. This can catch rare things like Gyarados and Dratini. That price comes with some basic bait, but you can get better bait for $500 per roll.
Food is 0$ still.
"*Smiles* Thank you. *Nods* Thankful too for meeting, fighting, and.......good conversation with you. Challenge and taught each other well, so now......we can grow more mighty and smart. *Shrugs* Do not think I am too interesting, but happy I......not bore or make you upset."
"*Looks curious and interested* Hm.....no, but would be.....interested. Like to help anyone who needs it, stop......bad things from happening, and......bring those who do wrong to justice. *Shakes head* Can't work for League, though. Not now. Have......own group to defend. To protect and care for them, best I can. It is my duty. Must do it......no matter what. *Rubs back of head* Sorry, Brazen. ...Hm....maybe later? If you have phone, can tell you when I am ready. Keep in touch too, if you need help or advice."
"Hear about Area Six* Hm.....sounds like tough, harsh place. *Smiles* Good. Need to......improve and challenge, and......prove self to my Duskull, so it sounds........nice. *Nods* Will explore place when I have chance. *Bows* Thank you for telling me about it."
And so ends Terra's Encounter with Brazen! It was an enjoyable time for him, and he hopes the Shieldmaidan shares similar sentiments!
Alright, so Terra buys everything I mentioned for $11700 Poke (Digging E. + Hyper P. + Super R.), + $2000 for four 'rolls' (Not sure what you mean here) of the Better Quality Bait. The Super Rods is expensive, but its an investment well worth the asking price!
The mountain of a man's second Encounter will be the HUGE swarm of Sirkit and Weedle, after he goes to a PC and switches out Michael for Melly. I presume the swarm is noticble, to say the least, and knowing from experience how dangerous a horde of hungry Bugs can be, my chara would rush off to prepare himself to take them all on to protect everyone in the area (Cue getting Melly), then head back to take the Bugs on will his lightning wolf and Genie his side. Time to non-Lethally squish and fry some insects!
If Terra can't get Melly, then he'll just go to a secluded body of water and try out his Super Rod, using some Better Quality Bait.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

All running water is pure in the Safari Zone! Though it can sometimes be disturbed by Pokemon.
Delphox (5)
Primal Glaceon (4)
Scolipede (2) + 4 Dex + 4 Survival
Glaceon takes a second to look around at all the natural wonders! Delphox would like to, but he's all business right now. He gets right to it with a mighty stream of primal fire!
Scolipede Round 1
Blast Burn 1
(6)(4)(6)(2)(5)(3) (4)(4)(5)(1)(1) Critical hit! Delphox wasn't worried about OHKO-ing the giant bug and didn't hold back (except the lethality).
(1)(1)(5)(4)(2)(5) (3)(4)(5)(6) Scolipede takes 6 dmg 5/11hp -2 pain.
Ancient Power 1 Glaceon has memories of ancient times in this place. Seems very happy to use this move, accessing those memories.
(4)(1)(4)(1)(2)(4) (6)(1)(5)
(4)(6) Scolipede takes 3 dmg 2/11hp -2 pain.
CD: (2)
Scolipede decides it's had enough, apparently not knowing that Delphox must rest. It climbs a tree and hides there, waiting for you to pass the area before it will come down.
4 XP to all!
So, for your second Safari Zone run (Encounter 3), you're going for useful flora?
Danger roll: (6) I actually did this backward last time, oops! High rolls are good for avoiding danger, bad for rarity. Sorry...
Rarity roll: (2)(5) Just one success. You find a Reppetree, which bears ultra-spicy fruits useful in making Pepper Spray. You find enough to craft one unit of spray.
