You better stay out of here Gligar and leave that Pikachu and us alone! Or else..." Heart then summon a little more flames. "...or we gonna have charcoal of Gligar." Heart is begin to hold a more purple colors, to signify he is ready to even kill those guys. He is also holding a deadly look holding evil like Pikachu.

(I really hope the nearby Rangers will prevent the death of any Safari Zone Pokemon. o.o; If fainting's not okay already, murdering them probably means 'you're in big trouble'...?)

The mountain of a man gives his dread reaper a slight smile, and nods.

"Good. We go now. Let us endure the Safari Zone.....and become its champ."

Usually he doesn't use such dramatic language, but since he was trying to impress his Duskull and get them amped up for their excursion into the most foreboding and adverse areas of the wildlife preserve, he figured it was justified. Plus, it was fun too, and it kept his Performance skills sharp!

Once the meeting is over and Duskull is recalled, Terra departs the center with the Party Line up I mentioned in the Meta Thread and heads over to the Chansey Outfitter, pays the required $5000 Poke for all his gear and 21 Safari Balls, and tell his guide exactly where he wants to go.

"Lead me to the most dangerous and tough place in the Safari Zone. Want to challenge my and partner, and catch tough Pokemon."

Angie will be used as their mount to get to said location(s), as why wouldn't you use a giant Dragon as combination transport/defense? No doubt the guide is impressed/awestruck by her too, but there's no time for that! No, its time for ADVENTURE!

Cool, so that bumps that Loyalty value up to 3, then.  And I guess Mizu doesn't mind the nickname, so...all that remains of that encounter is how much exp Juliet, Solomon, and Nathan got for the Seaking and Shiny Dratini encounter.

And there's also Nathan's final encounter in the Safari Zone before the tournament!  Gonna still hang around Area 6!  He has 9 Safari Balls remaining!  Not really looking for anything in particular now, but Calam is hanging around, just in case anything happens.  Nothing terrible's happened to Nathan so far, but you can never be too sure with the Safari Zone...

Of course, Calam's presence also means that Fairy types are more likely to show up.  Let's see what pops up, if anything...or maybe it'll just cause Angela to appear.  *shrug*

Seaking was a big guy. That encounter was worth 14XP.

Pokemon don't usually mind nicknames unless they are particularly insulting. Some might be happier with very grandiose nicknames but that's unusual.

Safari Zone - Nathan 5
Aggro: (2)
Rarity: (6)

You encounter a Sandslash and a Marill at an oasis.

The Gligar weren't really interested in sticking around anyway, so they fly off. They were considering bringing that Pikachu off with them, but decide against it.

Pikachu turns to go as well, though.

"Oh damn, you don't f@^& around, do you? I'm Geo, and the most dangerous part of the Safari Zone is called Area 6! Once we're there, we'll have to dismount this awesome giant Pokemon. I'll rustle up some grass in my secret spot - a little to the left, please, thanks - and we'll see what pops out!"

Aggro area 5: (4) With Angie, you're fine.

Aggro: (1) On your way to a landing in Area Six, a giant Fearow intercepts you! Of course, Angie still dwarfs it, but it looks like it intends to Drill Peck right through her flesh!

Terra frowns at Geo's course language, but doesn't commit on it as he nods back.

"No. Exploring tough parts of Safari Zone is......my mission. My name is Terra. Terra Sanaa Ismat. Will do everything to protect you from dangers, so guide us and do not worry. *Beat* Oh, and this is Angie. She is a Dunseraph and very sweet, so you will not have problems with her."

When the giant Ferrow crops up and makes the motions to start eviscerating his supreme seraphic serpent, the steely brawler looks deeply into the terrible titanic turkey's eyes, calmly glaring at them with such intensity that it felt like Mt. Sentry was coming to crash down on them! Raising Intimidate to 5 for 24 XP!

"Leave. Now. Or my Dragon will make you."

Angie was staring menacingly along with her papa, hissing threateningly while gather the air above Ferrow to send them crashing towards/deep into the ground if it didn't listen. Even though she can't Faint you, she'll do everything up until that point to make you regret picking on her and papa, so go away now!

Order: Terra will attempt to scare off the giant Ferrow with his newly increased increased Intimidate Roll (15D6 Dice!), with Angie providing as his muscle and additional incentive for them to scram. If they don't listen, they'll be assaulted with 3 Sky Falls (7/6/5D6 Dice, Base Damage 9D6, 5 Chance Dice to Paralyze) until they get the message and fly away, or they drop below 1/2 HP and are Paralyzed, in which case Terra will throw a Safari Ball to catch them.

Let's see if the bird brain will listen, or get stuffed!

I fight against strong foes, and also letting join strong Pokemon with a lot of potential. You my friend, hold great potential my friend, and I can see you want to be strong enough to beat foes like those Gligars. Dont you want to join with me Pikachu? I maybe have a feeling you not exatcly a Pikachu. I can train you, and let you become a unstapable and powerfull Pokemon. I the same as you. I want to become even more stronger. Are you interested?"

Action: Try to not let Pikachu go.

Fearow is not interested in listening to you! If she could be intimidated she'd have done so when she first spotted a twenty foot flying serpent!

Most Pokemon can't fly at -3 pain, so that should be one way of getting rid of this annoyance.

Fearow: (4) + 5 Dex + 5 Survival
Angie: (1)

Fearow Round 1

Drill Peck 1
(1)(4)(2)(6)(5)(3) (4)(2)(5)(5)
5 Str + 3 power + 2 crit +1 STAB +1 Sharp Beak
(5)(6)(1)(4)(6)(5) Angie takes 5 lethal dmg as Fearow drills through her hide. 25/30hp -1 pain

Angie bellows, twists around to look Fearow in the eyes before grabbing the aggressive bird. Up she flies, then down she swoops, releasing Fearow at the last second and soaring away. CRASHHH!!

Sky Fall 1
(6)(2)(5)(4)(4)(4)
(6)(5)(6)(5)(5)(2) Fearow takes 5 dmg! 6/11hp -1 pain
CD: (2)(4)(6)(3)(6) Fearow was paralyzed!

Fearow can no longer keep up. Want to head onward, or throw a ball, or do a little more damage?

Wow, these dice are certainly being fickle.  I imagine Calam's at least eyeing the Sandslash warily, though, given the species is able to use some incredibly Lethal and/or devastating moves (I'm looking at you, Crush Claw, Slash, Magnitude, and Earthquake).  Nathan also sends out Solomon to assist him!

Calam's got a simple job: chip damage and disruption!

Taunt 1
Acc: 7* + 4 + 1 - 3 Actions = 9 D6
Eff: No non-damaging actions other than Evading for Sandslash for the next 4 Rounds!  No Swords Dance, no Defense Curl, no Sand Attack, no Sandstorm...

Moonblast 2/3
Acc: 7* + 4 + 3 - 4/5 = 10/9 D6
Dmg: 3 + 4 + STAB = 8 D6 base
Eff: -1 Strength (3)
Note 1: High crit chance due to Super Luck.  4 successes crits.
Potential Side effect?: Maybe seeing a powerful Fairy move like that will catch Marill's interest?

And if Sandslash is too weakened to safely Moonblast, Calam will use Detect instead of Moonblast 3.

Detect 3 (if Sandslash is too weakened to safely Moonblast it)
Acc: 7* + 5* Survival + 3 Alert - 5 = 10 D6
Eff: -3 Damage and Chance dice!

Solomon has his own disruptive orders to follow!

Yawn 1
Acc: 6* + 4 + 3 - 3 Actions = 10 D6
Eff: Sandslash falls asleep at the start of the next Round!

Disable 2/3
Acc: 13 - 4/5 = 9/8 D6
Eff: Disables Sandslash's last used move!
Note: If Sandslash is charging Dig or tried to use a status move, though, use Confusion first, and then use Disable.

Confusion 2/3
Acc: 13 - 4/5 = 9/8 D6
Dmg: 2 + 4 + STAB = 7 D6 base
Eff: Confusion (1)

As for Nathan's Safari Ball tosses for the Round, he'd prefer to chuck the both of them at Sandslash once it's both Disabled and at -2 Pain.  If things are looking dangerous, he'll chuck 'em sooner in the hopes that he'll catch the Sandslash ASAP since he has some room for error.
