[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
I've got some more advanced tips if you'd like to hear those as well, @Mikaruge108.  They're a little harder to get a grasp of, but they're very effective once you're more familiar with the mechanics of the game.

Whoa whoa whoa.  Hold on a sec here before I go into Round 2 against the Fisherman, @Iron.

Poliwrath just attempted to use 5 unique moves (Mind Reader, Hypnosis, Body Slam, Wake Up Slap, and Circle Throw), the Fisherman stated he wanted Poliwrath to use those moves, and there weren't any Disobedience rolls in the Round, either.

There's a 4 move restriction in this official League tournament, right? That was mentioned/confirmed earlier when Exeggutor used its fourth move (Stun Spore, Psyshock, Confusion, and Hypnosis), as I recall. Is there some kind of penalty for (intentionally) breaking that rule?

Didn't Shiva already say to Angela that she knew Spira when he lost that battle and she texted him, though?

I'll just change that last Circle Throw to a Body Slam.

Alright, time for another idea to toss around, @Iron.  If Mizu was wrapped specifically around one of Poliwrath's limbs, would it be any more difficult to hit her with the full accuracy and/or force of Body Slam (since he wouldn't be able to use the full weight of his torso to hit her without potentially hitting himself as well) and Hypnosis (she doesn't have to look directly at Poli's torso/eyes to burn him the same way every time with Dragon Rage)?

Can't do much about Mind Reader and Wake Up Slap since the nature of those moves is different, obviously, but preventing 2 of his 4 moves from being effective would be rather strong.

Nah, it's just not possible to be that specific in the heat of battle. One thing you can use is the mud at the bottom of this rather shallow lake - I could apply the exact same rules Shiva used, where -2 accuracy on a move stirs up 1 CD worth of mud. Something like that.

Actually, thinking about it, I could use the same rule of thumb for an attempt to wrap around a limb. Your Brawling would be less accurate but if successful you'd have a chance of getting in Poliwrath's way.

But it will always be worse than an official move designed to lower accuracy.
