Wow, that's...really lax as far as gym battles go.

"Alright.  I'll make sure to give that some thought.  Oh, and, uh, one more thing..."

Nathan leans in closer to quietly say this next part.

"...make sure to keep a careful eye on what's going on around here.  Several of the prophetic pokemon in my group, including both Gallade and a Gothitelle, think something might be about to happen soon here in this valley.  I don't know exactly what nor when, but the signs haven't definitely indicated it's anything good so far..."

He pulls back, straightens his bag...

"...*ahem*...well then, if you'll excuse me, I need to go and try to retrieve Gallade's pokeball.  Lent it out to some friends so that he could watch my battles.  I'll see ya later."

Unless Angela has something else to say, that's probably the end of that conversation.

"Thanks for the warning. Cya."

Duskull decides to just poke the sleeping Psyduck. He picks up one wing and drops it back down, checks out the Psyduck's open mouth, opens one eyelid.

Geo comes out laughing. "You actually captured that thing? It's always been kind of a joke around here. Oh well, it was bound to hurt someone sooner or later. Well, are you ready to make camp? Typically we should go back to Area 3 or so."

Oh... That indeed disappoints Shiva to a degree, but it only shows for roughly a second before she lights up again in what could be taken as faint admiration: No access to that sort of technology make her even more in tune with nature. How neat and peaceful that must be, aww!~ "That's fine, I WILL come and see you either in Elanor or the swamp, maybe not in the Safari Zone, but I promise I will, I look forward to facing your very own fairies! Of course I won't bring any uninvited guests." She hesitates a bit before continuing. "But... What about 'your' Gloom that's now mine, would you want to meet him again? I'm not sure whether he would, what about you...? .....OH! *excitement increases by 50%* If it has hatched by then, may I also show you a super-rare, practically extinct pinkish Fairymon then? Maybe not directly in battle though."

'Don't bring anyone she hasn't invited' also arises wondering from Shiva's side concerning somethingelse, she waves Angela closer to tell her in a more quiet voice. "May I ask you something, from girl to girl too?" *presumably gets permission* "If you're...that beautiful practically by nature and even a good battler, don't you have any problems with enamoured challengers??"

Valid question, actually. (⌒_⌒; )

Quote:These jewelry pieces turned out very very lovely, actual masterpieces! You craftily work other items from your travels into the flower antler, including some permanent Shield Dust. For Angela, you create a feather indistinguishable from the real thing at first glance. The jewelry left over for sale is worth $4500.

They are the best craftings Shiva was able to create so far, and she's coyly but incredibly pleased and proud of herself. Once she has cleaned up and securely packed away everything she'll soon turn in for the night with Cottonee and Azu cuddled up to her while Vaporeon and Eevee curled up close to one another at the end of the bed. Sweet dreams, you all!

"Maybe you could train Gloom up and then he'd want to battle me with his new strength. I'd be into that. I love seeing baby Pokemon! Please show me when it hatches!"

"Shiva, men are often so obsessed with my looks that it affects their ability to battle. That's their problem, not mine. Anyone with a brain can learn to control their emotions. In the swamp, they come to me Poisoned and covered in mud and think they have a chance with me. Hilarious. I just keep it professional and they tend to get the hint. If not, Dunseraph has words with them."

"Sure thing about that battle, who knows I might use or wager that Chansey..." With that, Spira's side of the convo w/ Angela is done.

Oh dang, you just one-upped Angela. She's stunned by the possibility and stops in her tracks as you leave.

You can definitely bring that up again when you battle her!

Seeing Duskull toy with the massive mallard caused him to frown ever so slightly, but with a slight shake of his head he ignored it. He couldn't expect his dread specter to cooperate with him completely just yet or learn to take a more merciful attitude towards.....well, anyone, so for now he just had to accept their antics. Such things were a part of its natural, and it could be worse.

Mikey took the time to pump a fist claw in triumph with a smirk, quite pleased he thoroughly clobbered the aggressive avian with his favorite Move. The only thing that would make it better would be if he actually got to KO it, but hey, capturing it was just as good as another victory underneath his cap, Orah!

His guide's mirth-filled comments illicted a raised eyebrow from the mountain of a man, before he shrugged and nodded.

"Yes. Told me it was a problem, so I took care of it and caught it. Giant Pokemon also sell well, so it was.....another reason to get it."

As for the matter concerning making camp and their suggestions thereof, Terra though about for a couple of seconds, before nodding again.

"Okay. Let me have Posei search area for more goodies first, though, then we head to Area 3. Is that fine?"

For making camp itself, the rugged wanderer has a simple but effective plan to prevent Wild Pokemon from causing them Cain: Have Angie Dig a deep and wide enough hole for him/Geo to sleep/cook in, while she coils and covers it up when they are ready to head for bed, acting both as guard and concealing their presence. No matter how belligerent or daring the beasts of Safari are, even they should think twice before disturbing a sleeping dragon and its treasure...

With that, Terra's day should be coming to a close, bar anything else interesting happening.

Ah, Shiva much enjoys the way Angela thinks. "That sounds good. I'll let Gloom know, thank you!~" She also appears very delighted that she's allowed to show the gym-leading fae enthusiast the young unicorn foal when it eventually has grown enough to pierce through the eggshell with its horn... Aww, now Shiva can't wait for it to hatch indeed.

She would agree to Angela's words about learning to control their emotions if one has a functioning brain inside one's skull instead of hot air, dust and dead Bug Pokemon. "You're not...wrong about it being their problem and not yours, actually." More Shiva doesn't say as she falls into some pondering: Could that, with 'that' being 'charming a challenger simply by looks and behaviour to decrease their ability to battle to a degree', be something she herself could attempt to achieve as well? Possibly. She'd shyly guess that she's cute and pretty enough and she'd only have to act it out, though she would be unable to hold a candle to Angela of course.

She's so lost in pondering that she fails to react immediately the fallen name 'Dunseraph' and needs a moment to gather her thoughts. Then however, she stares at Angela in amazement: "Dunseraph? DUNSERAPH? I... I've seen one before, these noble snakelike dragons with angelic wings, but it was blue and yellow! Do you really own one yourself? Yours must be...*amused chuckling*... a 'special' one then. How sweet."

Mechanics:
I don't think Shiva's Almanac displays the shiny versions of Pokemon, potential for a new modul or upgrade? I'd get it if available. I think that's also all I wanted to speak about with Angela for now, Shiva's day is so far done and she'll be on auto for now until I'm back.

For now, Nathan's just watching the remaining Safari Cup matches.  There's 4 trainers he'd be keeping an eye on for varying reasons: Anaster and Burt, Fisherman Harris, and Heart/that Gentleman (depending on both who makes it to Round 4 and whether Nathan learns that Gentleman faced both Spira and Heart).  Now that he's in the spectator seats, he's going to try and make the most of it and take his mind off of his own emberassing loss as best as he can.

If anthing super notable happens concerning the buzz about Nathan, I'll address it accordingly.  Generally, though, he's not really interested in any trade offers for the rarer pokemon he caught.

Spira is free to talk with Nathan if he wishes to as well.

Spira does indeed have something he wants to talk about with Nathan, "That was a rather... strange Parasect. It definitely wasn't shiny, that's for sure, speaking of strange Pokemon, I found, and caught a Lotad that looked a little different, it's 'lily pad' was actually metal and made with gears. Never seen anything like that before." Spira also is a little jealous of the shiny that Nathan found "Oh wow, not only did you find a rare Dratini, but it's shiny‽ The closest I got to something like that was a Chansey."
