A response comes soon after.

Quote:Great.  Meet me outside the Pokemon Center once you have your team of 6 ready in that case.  Let's keep it simple, shall we?  Single battle, no trainer items, 3v3, 4 move limit.  All pretty standard stuff. No fainting as well, though. Ya know, just in case something happens.

Flashforwarding a little more, once Spira's ready, Nathan will be waiting outside the Center as he said.  Gallade's there too, obviously.  The two of them are practically inseparable.

(OOC: Arrange your team of 6 and their hold items however you like on Spira's character sheet, Mika, then have Spira approach Nathan IC when you're ready!  I've already got my team of 6 and their hold items prepared.)

Terra would decline interest in catching any of the Pokemon mentioned available at night/early morning, as he already has Pokemon/partners that surpass them + has no interest in them. The only exception is Wobbuffet, but he's not entirely thrilled by its almost passive playstyle, so he's not going out of his way to try and catch one (OOCwise, I also don't want to replace Abaddon , so that too...)

As for morning activities, Terra cooks what he hopes is a filling, nutritious, and tasty meal for him/his Pokemon/Geo using the 'Cooking' experience he's garnered over the past few days (Roll for that if you like or not, Iron! He has 2 Insight, 5 Survival / 0 Knowledge, and 3 Science Chemistry, so he has a decent to good Roll for making a quality breakfast!), does some light exercise with his partners (Sans Lapis and Posei, who's being kept in his ball due to the intense Sunny Weather), before asking Geo to lead him back to Area 6 and direct him to yet another perilous place within it. Let his adverse adventure continue!

Depending on what Zone they are in (1,2, or 3), the mountain of a man will have Angie fly them over, but if they are close enough he'll be hoofing it with Mikey by his side. Also, he'll periodically be letting out Posei to search the Areas/places they are traveling for more goodies, though if they show signs of dehydrating he'll have them use Rain Dance to perk him up, or return him to his ball failing that.

Spira decides to give him the nickname Azazsga and sends him to the PC
Now for Spira's first encounter:
He'll go to the outskirts of town to do some light training

You can choose up to 3 Pokemon to train, and if you tell me what sort of training you want to do that might impact the roll, if there is one.
Sparring-type training w/ Toya

Toya enjoys sparring with you personally. There's something special about fighting a trainer instead of a Pokemon, with no middleman.

(So that means Rose get 8 XP while Gustav and Netune get 9 XP correct? Awesome)

After that, Heart smile upon the succesiful training and he finally return to his bed to rest.

No, only Gustav got a training roll (the 8 bonus XP). And he and Netune get +1 XP for the rain.

So that means Gustav get 8 XP correct? And Netune 1 XP? I sorry but I very confused. What is exactly the total of XP of Rose, Gustav and Netune? English it's not my native language.

Gustav: 10XP
Neptune: 2XP
Rose: 1XP

Since you're looking for dangerous pokes, I'm just going to skip right to rarity, and it will always be a dangerous mon.

Rarity: (1)(1)(2)(6)

On the way to a spot Geo thinks might contain some good target practice, you find a Girafarig. Normally, they aren't too dangerous, but this one has a more dominant black head. The blackness has spread almost to the yellow neck of the giraffe half. The Pokemon has gone a little wild, buffing itself with all its moves and tearing through tree and bush canopies like a whirlwind.

"If you wanted to, you could stop that crazed Girafarig. Or, sooner or later, some predator will be attracted by the noise and put it down for you."

After witnessing the very cross and coloured Girafarig rampaging through the wilderness with sheer reckless abandon, Terra was swift to agree with his guide, giving them a serious and silent nod before he strode forward to confront the beast, recalling Mikey (Like heck was he going to pit a Fighting type against a turbo charged Psychic!) and sending out Mawile without missing a single beat!

"Mawile, Snatch away Girafarig's buffs, Taunt it, and then Sucker Punch them. Trick them, make them mad, and......use anger against them, but don't Faint them. Understand?"

He frowned to himself as he issued those orders to his piercing pixie, as they (His orders) were pretty much entirely underhanded and thoroughly uncharitable, two things which he normally look very dourly upon. However, they were getting into a serious and potentially deadly fight with a crazed raided up chimera, so such tactics were a necessary evil to forestall them and ensure his and his partner's safety. Noble and honorable as he was, if push came to shove and/or undesirable methods were trulynecessary in a given situation, he would not not hesitate to be pragmatic.

Heroism or the like was seldom glamorous as it's believe to be, and in many ways it was similar to Survival: doing what is required to accomplish your objectives with as little trouble or, bar that, injury as possible. Such was life, and the worlds he lived in.

Beyond that, the sagely monk also knew such dirty fighting would be right up his fierce, feisty, and furtive fae - who was no doubt all to eager to make a complete fool out of her opponent - so perhaps he fully catered to that desire he might tighten his bond with her. Or, at the very least, get he to listen to his orders more often than not...

Orders: Read up on Snatch, and discovered that in the corebook it just straight up steals all existing Stat Buffs on a Pokemon and gives them to the user, so Mawile is going to be doing exactly that, then use Taunt and a Sucker Punch. Next Round will consist of Mawile continuing to Sucker Punch it 3 times, trying to lower its HP to 1 if at all possible before attempting Terra attempts to capture it with up to three Safari Balls. If Snatch fails (or she doesn't use it), substitute her next Action with Snatch, then the action after the next with Taunt. Tis the time the tiny trickster to topple the towering tertrapod!

Also, if Duskull could be let out to watch Terra's fight, then that would be lovely too!

Moves:

First Round 3 Actions - Snatch (Steals/Erases Targets Buffs, and Gives them to User), Taunt (Disables Non Evasive and Damaging Moves for 4 Rounds), and Sucker Punch (*Priority 1*, 8D6 + 1 Base Damage); Second Round 3 Actions - Sucker Punch X 3
Conditional Orders: If Snatch does not hit/is used, substitute it for the next possible Action until it does/is used successfully, then carry on with rest of Actions as normal starting with Taunt.
Dice Pool(s): 7D6 (Snatch), 11D6 (Brawl Moves), 12D6 (Taunt)

Girafarig: (3) + 6* Dex + 5 Survival = 14
Mawile: (5) + 7 = 12

Girafarig Round 1

The dark head is completely in control when it comes to combat! And whenever a Pokemon runs by, Girafarig sniffs it to see if it's worth using Guard Swap or Power Swap.

Crunch 1
(6)(1)(2)(2)(6)(2) (5)(5)(4)(6) Critical hit
2 crit + 7* Str + 3 power = 6d6
(6)(4)(1)(3)(4)(4) Mawile takes 4 dmg 6/10hp -1 pain
CD: (3)

Ouch. Girafarig has obviously collected a Nasty Plot on its own safari adventure. Duskull flinches.

Mawile wants those buffs.

Snatch 1
(4)(6)(2)
Mawile takes on those same characteristics, her size increasing, her spikes lengthening, her Fairy nature becoming more fiendish. She can barely hold her horns up as she starts chasing the now tiny Girafarig!
Mawile now has
agility +2 dex
Guard Swap +2 def
Power Swap + 2 Str

Crunch 2
(1)(1)(3)(5)(2)(2) (3) Girafarig stumbles as she shrinks.

Obedience: (4)(1) v (6)(3)(3)

Taunt 2
(3)(6)(3)(5)(3)(6) (3)(4)(1)
Hey! That Mawile has my buffs! Let's get 'er!

Sucker Punch 3
(6)(5)(6)(2)(2)(4) (5) Critical
6d6+1
(5)(5)(3)(6)(6)(1) Girafarig takes 5 dmg 4/9hp -2 pain

Crunch 3
(4)(1)(4)(3)
(1) Nothing gets past this swapp'd Barrier on a steel type belonging to a steely trainer.

Crunch 4
(3)(5)(6)
(2) Gnaw gnaw gnaw... naw.

Crunch 5
(4)(1)
(2)

Girafarig Round 2

Sucker Punch 1, held back
(6)(2)(1)(6)(6)(1) (6)(5)(5)
(5)(1)(5)(2)(5)(2) Girafarig takes 2 dmg 2/9hp -2 pain. And that's all you're allowed to do - with all those buffs, even this first Sucker Punch wasn't quite kosher.

Girafarig is outta here! She'd have fled when you stole her buffs and her attacks did no damage, if you didn't taunt her.

Mawile gains 10XP! That was supposed to be a decently hard encounter haha.

Not usually keen or particularly Insightful, the rugged wanderer never the less was able to see that the Girafarig's 'normal' head was acting in a suspiciously clever manner, causing his eyes to narrow but not affecting a change in his usual stoic battle seriousness. He never did quite learn how to reliably predict what trouble this species could get up to due to it literally having two minds on everything, so he was reasonably concerned about what kind of counter tricks it could pull.....

What ended up happening, though, was that his plan to pacify the crazed chimera not only went off perfectly, but almost miraculously so. The first Crunch caused him to tense and grimace ever so slightly, before he noticed that his dread specter was taking it much worse than he, so he tentatively reached over to give them a quick and comforting pat them on the head. Nothing was said about it, but he hoped it was clear that he understood their fear and wanted to help them overcome it.

Then Mawile Snatched Girafarig's buff, and everything went straight down the sinkhole for it. Her (Mawile's) transformation into more foreboding fae who's likeness and temperament would have sent his boss straight into a frothing paranoia alone was enough for him to drop his stoicism and stare at her with open surprise, but after she almost KOed the now puny Pokemon in two hits and tanked three Crunches with casual and no doubt fiendishly smug ease? The sagely monk dropped the Safari Ball he was holding

Yes, he was that taken aback. In retrospect he shouldn't have been, given that he knew she was a extremely capable Fairy type that benefited immensely from his training regime + her Snatched buffs and her natural Resistance to Dark Moves, but the reality of it......it was just stunning. Beware the fae indeed, as Ventus and Shiva would say in their own ways.

'......Two notes to self. One, make cake for her later. She deserves it, after doing great in Fight, and for all......the progress she made. *Mental Nod* Will surprise her with it. Two, don't make her mad without good reason. *Mental Head Shake* ...Not until I fully bond with her. Or backup. Do not want to end up like Girafarig.....or worse. *M.Ns.* Cake will help with that. It must.'

' *Beat* Hm.....need to be careful with Shiva too. She is like bad Fairy type and Genie when upset, so do not need to cause her problems.....or me.'

With those thoughts in mind and fully processed, Terra promptly recovered from his surprised stupor exactly at the moment the now not so chaotic chimera started to turn tail and run for the hills. He quickly reacted, throwing out his Safari Ball to delay its escape and/or catch it......before he realized the ball was not in hand by its absence there or in the air.

For a split second he looked utterly baffled at his ball's seemingly pulled a Teleport on him, before his gaze so happened to wander down and spotted it lying by his left foot. He then had a second realization of what happened with it in the first place, before rapidly scooping it up and aimed it once more at the fleeing beast. Whether or not he gets a chance to catch it at this point is up to the Legends, Mythics, and gods (IE: Iron)....

Regardless of that outcome, when the battle came to its definitive end the steely brawler walks right up to his ironclad sidhe , crouched down right in front of her, and rubbed her head with great fondness, all the while bearing a grin at her suffused with pride, respect, and amazement.

"Outstanding, Mawile. Did perfectly against Girafarig. Took them down with no problem, and did not get hurt much. *Nods* Very well done. Very proud of you. Here *Rummages through pockets/Inventory* You deserve this, *Nods*."

Saying thus, he pulled a couple jars of sweet fruit preserves and a Sitrus Berry, and handed them over to Mawile. Her cake will have to wait until later, but who says he can't give her another reward now? Plus, that tasty Sitrus Berry should fully restore her HP whether she took 2 or 3 Damage from Crunch 1, so all the more reason to gift it to her!

(Reaction from her, Iron?)

Terra's next Encounter (After he's finished celebrating with/congratulating Mawile) will be spent combing through Area Six with Geo for even more dangerous Pokemon, not wanting to waste any daylight or chances to challenge himself and his partners with the worst the Safari Zone has to offer. Speaking of his guide, he'll ask them if their are any legends or reports of a truly Bad Pokemon he could dedicate himself to hunting down, or if there is any notably nasty Pokemon he could lure out and take care of. Additionally, is it possible for Terra's perfect Survival Skill and good Nature Specialty (3 right now, but can raise it to 4 anytime if necessary) to add a bonuses of some kind to his Rarity Rolls? He is the quintessential wilderness survivalist, after all, so that has to count for something in the untamed lands that is the Safari Zone.

Also, what's his reaction to Mawile handily beating the stuffing out of that Odd Girafarig? Just curious is all!

(Ooh, I like that music choice.  Think I'll save that other music I had in mind for later in that case.)

Nathan simply spins a pokeball around in his hand, looking very relaxed as he responds.  "So am I.  Well then, let's go find a suitable outdoor battlefield, shall we?"

Once they've reached the battlefield, Nathan takes a ready stance, Gallade standing calmly by his side.  For the record, Nathan is wearing one of the SPARE CHANGE shirts at the moment.  This one has Delta Parasect pictured on it.  "Alright, on three.  Ready?  One...two...three!"

He sends the pokeball he was holding spinning onto the battlefield, and Spira presumably does the same, and the revealed combatants on this sunny battlefield are...

(Time to start PMing Iron!  Send him a PM with what your first pokemon choice is, Mika! Make sure your inbox is clear as well.)
