Hahaha yeah you could go down them if you were at the top. They don't go down FROM HERE.

Rebuild heals 1HP after any Action where Gargryph takes no damage, including a miss, a status move, or Evasion/Protect.

Doh. Now I see why the crates were labeled like they were.
Umbrella starts with a U. Dishes and Dyes start with D.
U is for Up. D is for Down.
Simple, but effective if you know the trick. Hindsight is 20-20, as they say...
I'm guessing the Dyes crate is definitely the one we'll have to go down since that's the only crate without an Almanac label. It's the odd one out by far, and Almanac wouldn't want to advertise their collaboration with the Scimitars if that stairway does indeed lead to the Scims' hidden base.

...this is reminding me of a comment that was made in a recent episode of High Rollers DnD.
'If you want to break your players, give them an infiltration mission.'
Summary of what happened in that episode: the party had to infiltrate a heavily guarded building to conduct a rescue mission. Trying to slip past the guards patrolling the grounds was rather stressful for them (partially because none of their characters are particularly stealthy). Due to a combination of botched rolls and semi-bad decisions (mostly botched rolls in their case), they got noticed before they even reached the main building and had to fight their way in instead.
We haven't been noticed quite yet, but...I have a feeling this isn't going to be a stealth mission for too much longer because we were overthinking the first puzzle...

BTW, I can think of one other reason we might explore the DISHES stairs first instead of going straight to DYES and the Scims.
We just made a lot of noise, so they might be more alert right now. If we explore a different path, they might be less on guard by the time we come back. Or we might find a way around.

That's not a bad thought, but I'd in-chara rather not spent time on exploring a different path than the one that'll most likely lead down into the hidden Scimitar Base. The faster we can save Keni and Uncle Oscar the better, and the faster we can also try retriving these rumored artifacts from deep down the Skull Ruins to tackle the comet and Deoxys, if that turns out to indeed be our next given task.

Let me throw out one more reason to consider exploring the DISHES stairs, then: it's not our primary goal, but the servers Dagny wants Nathan to put those USB drives in are Almanac servers. They're probably more likely to be somewhere outside of the Scim base.
