In fairness, I could have added a bit more detail in that response, but I've been a little busy.

With 6* Insight, though, Shiva would have probably gotten the gist of most of that IC, I think. It's just kinda hard to translate IC traits to OOC typing of IC stuff when it concerns another player.

If my vote matters in any way shape or form with regards to the Cliff-Side Scimitar/Almanac Base Raid, I'd say that getting the USB plugged into Alm's server should be a top priority along side saving Oscar and Keni, as it's highly unlikely the group is going to get another relatively 'easy' chance to Stealth into a baddies' base and dig for intell unmolested/with low security detail. If necessary, just split the group to accomplish that task, even if its only Nathan that will go down to confront Alm while the rest go rescue Keni/Oscar. The scholar is certainly a tough cookie between Calam and Gallade, so he need not direct support.

Yeah, I was thinking this might be our only good chance to pull this off, too. The DISHES path is (seemingly) lightly guarded, and we haven't actually alerted anyone yet. The moment we enter the Scimitar base, things are gonna get harder because we have to get past actual guards. And as soon as we rescue Oscar and Keni, we need to get out ASAP because they're almost certainly not as stealthy as everyone else. That's part of the reason why I said that Nathan would probably just do it anyways even if he doesn't have anyone backing him up.

And Charizard, Grid, and Porygon-Z are also all absolute beasts in battle.  Ditto is variable, but has access to everything up through Earth Power as a Flygon and can Transform into other stuff as needed, so it won't be slouching either.



In any case, we're probably now just waiting on a decision from @Mikaruge108. If Spira would rather accompany Nathan than stay with Shiva, she might have to reconsider her decision.

Oh, in case you end up taking these Conditional Ball samples with you, @Dragonstrike and @Spiritmon, mind to please share and let me have at least 2? More isn't really needed for my chara. They appear useful under specific conditions, and Shiva is the only one who owns an Almanac needed to alter the code for a specific Pokemon and she isn't opposed to use Almanac products. Of course, none of the others know about that device and trait of hers (yet??).

It's probably a bit bold to ask for that after not wanting to come into the server room myself, but I can at least try. You're free to refuse?

Terra wouldn't care to use Almanac Tech, besides selling it to either Dagney or Proffessor Mallorn for profit. He's boycotting their technology, even if he ends up getting it for 'free', and beyond that he really couldn't put them to use anyway with his thick head getting in the way, so none of the C.Bs for me and him!

Oh, in case you end up taking these Conditional Ball samples with you, @Dragonstrike and @Spiritmon, mind to please share and let me have at least 2? More isn't really needed for my chara. They appear useful under specific conditions, and Shiva is the only one who owns an Almanac needed to alter the code for a specific Pokemon and she isn't opposed to use Almanac products. Of course, none of the others know about that device and trait of hers (yet??).

.....I didn't say anything about the Golem Scim Room because I thought it was obvious that those statues were up to no good and had to be countered with Pokemon, but I guess I was wrong. Unless Shiva and Spira couldn't have called out their Pokemon in time to act as meatshields/counters, in which case ignore me!

Regardless, I recommend a Healing Item for Shiva, and promptly summoning Lilith to Magic Room the whole thing. If its technology powered in anyway, that should kill that defense system real quickly. I'd have another Pokemon out as back up to defend against/attack the Golems in case that doesn't work, though!

...same.  The fact that the gauntlets swiveled and then pointed directly at them combined with how panicked Cottonee was after retreating from that room should have been pretty telling, I think...

Notably, if the system is completely automated, Magic Room isn't going to work.  Doesn't mean it's not worth trying, but it's something to keep in mind.

If I had to guess, the wall's probably treated as Steel type at the very least.  As soon as I saw it was a metal wall, I thought 'Charizard could probably melt it with his Flamethrower, ala the usual Pokedex entires'.  Maybe they're a bit exaggerated, but there's still some truth in just about all of them, and Fire is most certainly effective on Steel.
