[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
@Spiritmon, if you're going to take some of those Conditional Balls, please don't try to do it behind Nathan's back.

It just requires a Gauntlet thrust into the hole. The five pillars projecting the barrier become the fingers and you can control them, withdrawing them along with the barrier.

Thanks, that's clever. Humm, from that I outta-chara assume that Almanac does trust the Scims a lot if they soft-let them have access to their main server, or the Almanac scientist are 'armed' with gauntlets as well.

Huh.....I didn't expect to be doing anything for a couple more weeks, but I'll take the chance to have a bit of action right now! Give me a bit to check what Pokemon Terra (Its been awhile!) has again and to write up the post, though!

As for stealing.....I'd say everyone is already in hot water for trespassing into the base if they get caught later, so just outright taking the balls and not trying to be sly about it is the 'best' option, since there is really nothing to be gained by hiding the acquisition from everyone else.

Except for one thing: Conditional Balls aren't on the market yet.

Nathan isn't against looting stuff in this case, but he'd rather not get nailed for something equivalent to stealing the Neverstone when he's already got other potential charges lined up.

There's also one other concern, but I didn't voice it for an obvious reason: Almanac is going to know somebody was in the room because there'll be things missing.  Though that was probably going to happen anyways because Mr. Mime's gone missing as well.

Is it going to matter soon? Maybe not. But Nathan would rather not take any chances with stealing experimental research (which as an added note, might have drawbacks when used that we don't know about).

If we want, we (by which I mean you and Heart) could just engage in some more corporate espionage by just selling/giving the Conditional Ball to Dr. Mallorn and having him make his own more ethical versions of it for us later, or at the very least earn more good will/favors from him. That be one way of dodging blame for stealing the balls, if the issue comes up!

Well yeah, but they won't automatically know/can assume it was our random group of PCs responsible, unless we leave any glaring - oh, I see where your going with this now. Hm...perhaps its best to leave the Conditional Balls behind after all? One Pokemon and its ball going missing could be written off as an accident or some worker drone doing something with it, but a whole bunch of them going *Poof* would raise a lot of pointed questions about what the heck happened....

Honestly, I don't care if the balls are taken or not, but I'm willing to err on the side of caution and just vote to leave them behind, if it means less complications in the future. In which case, Heart just stealing the balls becomes more of an issue than not...

Lol Mallorn would totally be up for that.

In that case, disregard what I said Spirit! Take and steal those balls, and then give them to Mallorn so we can double screw over Almanac! The consequences can be dealt with us both, mwahahahahaha!

@Dragonstrike : Hey, I just edited my last post to add that Terra texts Nathan back about Mr. Mime and other stuff! Check it out, and respond to it if you wish!

Question Iron: Would destroying a Pokemon's Pokeball unregister them from it? And what would be the consequences thereof of doing that? Terra should know this, given he's a seasoned explorer and trainer, so its an issue he should have come across at some point in his past adventures.
