[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
(Ahhh, so the silky white thread was Bug Type! Should have thought of that.)

Ohooo!!~ How her broken Pokeball simply bounces off reminds Shiva on something, she has seen that happening somewhere she lingered only little time ago. 'Dimension control', Oscar said... It's still a miracle how the Scimitars have achieved that; or in other and more suitable words: How Almanac has created this. Their science's having so much potential if only used wisely and managed properly instead of being fueled by a desire for money and domination on the market. Whatever Psychic Pokemon's powers they're abusing for these wormholes, it must be obviously mighty.

"I... I'm aware of that, Mr. Morgusi, I am!", Shiva fights against the alarms, "Please don't loose hope, we'll FIND a way sonner or later...!!" Further she doesn't come due to the whips, but inside her she begins to wonder whether there IS a way to free Keni from that cord at all. There MUST be one, it can't be impossible!

She curiously watches how objects and everything disappear into the nothing when smacked, but as Azu and Cottonee vanish - that was when Shiva felt it more than she saw it, it was as if a crack was breaking her sensitive heart. That figurative Fissure was super effective and caused her to fall, to fall deeeep. She staggered a bit. "My dear ones, NOOOOO!!" Her voice sounded far away. "Come back to me...." Despite they've vanished, she can still feel a very faint connection to them - or was it only her imagination? She's not sure, but she blatantly hopes that the strong bond between her and her fairies will reunite them, and as long as she has Lilith by her side, that hope is reasoned. She CAN'T break down now, she mustn't. She wonders whether Spira feels the same towards Toya deep inside.

It was more of an unconscious action as she summoned a waterly Eeveelution and gave orders. "Vaporeon, dear one, targets the remaining gauntlets in the wall with pulses of water - go for this magical cord" *points to it* "once they're ALL down. Be quick and avoid direct contact if you can though!" She obviously doesn't want to soft-loose more Pokemon. :C

--------------------------------------------------------------
Only 3 actions to keep the dice pools high.

Accuracy Roll Vaporeon's Water Pulse 1: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 5 Channel - 3 Actions = 9d6
Accuracy Roll Vaporeon's Water Pulse 2: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 5 Channel - 4 Actions = 8d6
Accuracy Roll Vaporeon's Water Pulse 3: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 5 Channel - 5 Actions = 7d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 2 power of the move + STAB + held Elektruxo's Umbrella = 7d6 + possible SE damage on the cord
Additional notes: This isn't an official battle, so that Umbrella is fine. Gauntlets or ropes can't be confused via CD effects.

If a whip comes after Vaporeon, she'll attempt to evade that, and Shiva will attempt to ward it off her with...more tossed broken Pokeballs and similar objects that none will miss.

Shiva softly replies, a smile is gifted to Keni. "That's... That's how I call this place too after having visited it."

Welp, Spira, for a lack of decent words, is ticked off. And after a string of expletives that would make a Sailor blush, he summons Hida, "Cover me with a Smog while I teach these ... a lesson!"
Orders;
-Hida:
Smog, used as a smokescreen to add to Spira's Evasion Rolls.

Spira:
Strike x5
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Brawl, 5 Actions, Base pool of 14D6
Damage Pool: Strength+1, 4D6

"Destroying the gauntlets won't help, they're just a conduit. I may be able to make a card of your friends. We will have to worry about that later. "

"Well, whatever we do, we need to do it fast!  We've got other things to worry about today as well!  Charizard, Porygon-Z, destroy the rest of those Gauntlets so we can relax a little!"

Welp, there we have it, then. Unless Shiva or Nathan decide to be bold and purposely be taken to Sideways (or fail an Evade roll) and then try to use one of the Cress Cards to get out with the pokemon (assuming that would work in the first place), there isn't much we can do, apparently.

Same orders as before for Porygon-Z, Charizard, and Nathan!  5 Electrowebs, 4 Flamethrowers, and Conditional Evades for all 3!

Oh. Shiva unintentionally manages to sense Spira's angered feelings, but doesn't do the slightest thing to try calming him. Why should she!~ (I find it interesting that he goes into wrath and offense and she into sadness and defense over a close Pokemon vanishing.)

Earthpower: (6)(4)(3)(1)(2)(6) (1)(4)(2)

Whip: (4)(6)(6)(6)(1)(1) (6) - 4 successes
Evasion: (1)(4)(4)(3)(2)(6) (4)(2)(6)(4)(2)

Heart burns through another thread. I also decided you should have gotten those two super-effective threads in ADDITION to the 1/round, so you're even closer to finished. Four threads have been destroyed, three remain.

Whip B on PorygonZ:
(1)(3)(5)(4)(2)(1) (1) - 1 success
Evade: (4)(6)(5)(1)(6)(3) (6)(2)(1)(5)

Whip C on Charizard:
(3)(2)(1)(4)(6)(2) (4)
(4)(6)(5)(6)(1)(5) (5)(4) An easy wheel to one side. The air is less full of the crackling whips, so perhaps it is getting easier. Still, the stakes are high.

Whip D on Rose:
(6)(4)(6)(1)(6)(3) (4) = 5 success
Evasion: 12 dice -5 = 7d6
(3)(2)(5)(2)(5)(6) (3) = 3 success

Rose vanishes! Her face is writ with shock. She thought she could evade anything, but she pushed herself too far doing 5 actions.

Gustav calmly takes aim and fires.

Muddy Water 1
(6)(5)(4)(3)(3)(2) (4)
(6)(2)(4)(1)(5)(1) (4)(3)

Yep! Gustav hoses down the remaining cluster of Gauntlets until they fry. As Keni predicted, the vanished Pokemon do NOT reappear.

You're out of danger for the moment, but in just one round those running feet will arrive! In fact, you can hear them heaving the crate aside right now.

Vaporeon adds her own water to the Curious Cord, but to no effect.

Hida fills the room with Smog, especially the area where the Scimitars (Or Almanacs?) will appear when they arrive. A furious Spira goes to town on the shattered gauntlets, ripping them to shreds and stomping on them and tearing them out of the wall. In so doing, you find the fried remnants of a couple spycams.

Flamethrower and Electroweb also fail to affect the Curious Cord.

Panic and chaos do not cease as all the gauntlets have finally been destroyed, it's just a small comfort Shiva can enjoy. It appears that things aren't even reaching her properly, being seperated from two of her most dear Pokemon at the moment affects her heavily, she functions more than she reacts.

Very well then, these three remaining threads proof as tough nuts to crack, she curses mentally. It's only these THREE still, but time is starting to run out, they're coming, THEY'RE COMING, they're almost there, 'H-U-R-R-Y, my dear!!' her inner voice screams into Shiva's mind at full volume. She frowns as neither Fire, Electricity and Water fail to do anything, fine: That opens up other Types the threads suggest. "Vaporeon, please come back to me, you had your share, let me attempt something different!" The waterly Eeveelution hisses at that nasty cord before making a turn and being recalled mid-air and mid-jump, and a moment later new Pokemon arrive on the scene: It's a mighty black wolf with Masqurain-like wings and a big sauropode with leaves as wings! Now that there are less whips and gauntlets, Shiva feels safe to summon the latter.

"Everyone, come on, please help fireing moves of different Types onto that cord! I guess the blue one's Ghost Type while the linen one could possibly be Fight, just... just try things out, super-effective damage seems to do the trick, we're so close to making it!!" Fear and despair, but alos a good portion of determination is audible within Shiva's voice. "Yena, please try to TEAR that cord into pieces with your fangs, if that doesn't do anything smash it; you please open the fire with leaves and wind, Tropius."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, mostly experiementing and see what happens. Last post before I'll turn in for the night.
Damnit that Tropius' not holding a Berry at the moment as Natural Gift could useful here.

Accuracy Roll Yena's Crunch 1: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 4*Brawl - 2 Actions = 9d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 3 power of the move + STAB = 7d6. Dark Type.
Additional notes: NOT holding back on lethality, Shiva watches curiously what Yena's fangs can do to the Cord. CD don't matter here?

Accuracy Roll Yena's Rock Smash 2: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 4*Brawl - 3 Actions = 8d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 4 power of the move  = 7d6. Fighting Type.
Additional notes: CD don't matter.

Accuracy Roll Tropius' Razor Leaf 1: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 5 Channel - 1 Inaccuracy - 2 Actions = 9d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 2 power of the move + STAB + held Miracle Seed = 7d6 again. Grass Type.
Additional notes: Hits EVERYTHING, the chance to crit is high.

Accuracy Roll Tropius' Gust 2: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 5 Channel - 3 Actions = still 9d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 2 power of the move + STAB  = 6d6 again. Flying Type.
Additional notes: Blows up dust and the smog from Hida.
