[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

++ Evening of the previous Day ++


Another respectful bow from Shiva and all her Grass Types is her way to bid goodbye to the Noble Primal Lurantis. "I thank thee for welcoming us here, and trust in my word that I will return - return with the gentle unicorn and flower fairy by my side, to introduce them to this miraculous place. For now though, this is farewell. Please stay safe and greet your Formantis children from me... Until then."

Then, she makes haste to reach Elanor eventually as she is not up to sleep over in a tent when it's not all far anymore to town. And when they eventually arrive, Shiva stops on her track and can't hold a squal of joy back anymore - this lil' town is a pure WONDERFUL sight for her, even at night! She loves how it sparkles and glitters, and just HAS TO sniff on these infamous yellow flowers growing everywhere regardless of the time. Ayyeee!~ The second moon aka the ominous comet in the sky doesn't decrease her delight all that much.

Nevertheless the natural fae enthusiast can feel tiredness weighting her down, so she decides to let things be for today and find a dorm in the local Pokemon Center for the night; she can still explore the town tomorrow. None of her Pokemon needs medical treatment from the current Nurse Joy in duty.

With that, she soon and quickly falls asleep all cuddled up into the pillows and into Cottonee, excited over the day finally dawning as she can be.



++ Start of Day 77 ++


As the alarm clock on her cell calls out to get outta bed and start the day, Shiva (as usual) simply grumbles, turns it off and rolls around in her oh-so-warm bed, but a few moments later she's WIDELY awake all of a sudden. It's because she has made out the unmistakable sound that every Pokemon Breeder is looking forward to every single time: The faint cracking of an Eggshell!!! She instantly throws the blanket onto the floor, puts on her glasses and leaps out of bed, she doesn't even care that she's wearing only her underwear and a short nightdress. There they are, the tiniest and sweetest flower fairy ever seen and most gentle and delicate unicorn Shiva can imagine!! The latter looks even sweeter in real compared with the image in her Almanac.



She takes some time to gaze out at Elanor with them before welcoming Minicorn in her arms and giving Flabebe a fond kiss on its tiiiiny cheek as she's worried she'd crush her in a hug. :o "Oh welcome, you two, welcome at last!! Finally you've grown enough to hatch... Are you already aware of me, that Noble Arcanine has given you two into my care to grant you the chance to repopulate? I'm thankful that They did, so... thankful..." At this moment Shiva has to rub her eyes of a few happy tears threathening to fall. "I am Shiva, and I will take the role of your mother until you'll be ready to take care of your own. Please trust in me doing everything possible to protect you and help you grow strong, will you?" <3

Shiva has an obvious hard time to stop stroking and admirering her new fosterlings, they're just incredible adorable. "Haha, yes, of course we will go outside to explore town a bit! But first let us enjoy some nourishing breakfast. Cottonee, can you please take care of them while I head down to grab some food? ^_^" A delighted chirp from the fluffball is the response, of course she'll do so!~

The food Shiva brings some minutes later up to the dorm consists of a bit of everything with the spotlight of fresh fruit, vegetables and grain products, in short everything a herbivore would enjoy. There's tea on mass and coffee for Shiva, too. She enjoys the shared breakfast with her new Pokemon and registers them to normal Pokeballs for now, of course she'll carry them in her party at the moment. Can you also please give me their Stats, @Iron? Ah, and I guess Flabebe isn't yet 'registered' to a flower, or is it? If not, I've got an idea for that.

Also, naming time!: Shiva's a bit shy about that. Maybe she shouldn't give her new hatchlings any nicknames since they'll be set free at some point and a nickname has a good chance to make the farewell harder than it already is. Therefor Shiva asks Minicorn and Flabebe at first whether they are alright with being given a nickname in the first place.

If they are

"You, Minicorn.... You will be called 'Ophelia' from now on! This name comes from a stage play (*hint Shakesbear's Hamlet hint*), your namesake is the heroine who's love was so strong that she couldn't bear it anymore - It represents the power of this pure emotion."
"You, Flabebe... Your name shall be 'Fuchsia' from now on! It comes from a plant that grows beautiful flowers in pink, purple and white, they dangle like lanterns. This precious plant represents confiding love, haha. *blusssshhhh"

While the natural fae enthusiast cleans up and dresses up and everything, her other Pokemon are asked to welcome and introduce themselves to the new team members. Shiva herself also has to take a moment for an important phone call: She'll call Carb from the Office of Pokemon Safety concerning Togepi. "Uhm, hello? ...Yes, I've called yesterday concerning the Togepi that's open for adoption, that exemplar that formerly was in the hands of Water Scimitar Leader Juni. Yes, I'm currently residing in Elanor at the moment and would like to meet someone from the Shelter and League to adopt this smol Pokemon. It is possible that we'll meet up around noon in Cress City, please? My Alakazam can teleport me, or in case I can fly with my Tropius or ride on my Rapidash to Cress from Teazel Valley. Anything special I am required to bring along apart from my Trainer's Lisence?"

Once she has hung up, she'll take some minutes to send a text message to @everyone to inform them about Juni's Pokemon appearantly being open for adoption now.


The next thing that Shiva will do is speak up towards the current Nurse Joy down the Pokemon Center or anyone around who can give her some info concerning the Sunstone Mines: She'll approach them with Cottonee resting on her head and Gloom in her arms. "Hello! Could you help me out with a thing possibly? You see, Sunstones... ^_^; Yesyes, I've seen they're on sale. But, I would really really prefer to go and mine one or two myself, it's much more fulfilling to evolve my dear ones here with a stone I've found myself, you see! Therefor, is it possible to do so, can I enter the mines with that goal in mind? Can you...maybe give me some advice about the Mines also, what to look out for and any dangers dwelling there I should be aware of?"

It is planned and agreed with Windos that Terra will join Shiva into the mines to help and guard her, and I'd like to do that as the First Encounter of the Day.

Your journey concludes while watching the legendary sunsets of Elanor Town, the last part of Creshire to see the sinking sun. Their legends say it retires each night to the mines, where it leaves some of its light underground for us to find.

It's pretty late when you reach Elanor after that Encounter. Though the sky is dark, you can see lots of stars... and one bright comet, bright as the moon.

The residents of Elanor have each taken tiny shards of Petalglass and other elemental glasses and secured them over their doorways, so the town glitters even at night. The Pokemon Center is decorated with a mosaic of Fireglass, and the little PokeMart is decorated with seaglass. The center of the PokeMart Pokeball symbol, though, is a radiant Sunstone.


Over tonight's Pyre, the Beldum Egg hatches! Gotcha! Beldum was caught!

And in the morning, Minicorn and Flabebe hatch and instantly spring to the windowsill of Shiva's chamber to gaze out upon Elanor!

Gotcha! Flabebe was caught!

It is now Day 77

Elanor is a quaint little town, with its own distinct architectural style. There are lots of gables and turrets and terraces, windows that open wide and rooftops lined with gardens. The little yellow flowers grow in each rich green yard, and all motor vehicles are required to detour north of Elanor (where the mines are).

Sunstones are available for purchase here!!! They cost $3000.
Sunny Day TM is available for $2000, and Solar Beam is $3500.
There are also Move Tutors available!

You can also tour the mines, which are always hiring. There's also a tiny Pokeball factory, served by all the MSC around here. Both are hidden behind a screen of dense trees and bushes, blocking the noise and visuals.

Battles aren't super common here, and most trainers are very practical. They don't go in for the sport much, but the mines and the wilderness require a certain amount of protection.


Dagny texts to say the permit will be ready tomorrow. She'll send it to Nathan's PC.

Heart was someway busy making the pyre of Moltres along with Rose on his side. While he was doing that, he could hear a sound of a egg cracking. He almost think it was Moltres Egg, but then he turn his neck and see Beldum Egg hatching! He and Rose quick approach and then the egg shatter and the young Beldum come out of its egg! The little Beldum look around the place he born, until he gaze his eyes towards Heart. He float a bit, bringing some little stones with him and then he stop foward his "dad" closing his eye in happiness!



Heart was speechless for a few seconds, until some tears begin to roll in his eyes. Tears of happiness! He hug the little Beldum and spin around in happiness. "It hatch! Finally you come to this world my child! Welcome to the world little one!" 

Heart then laugh and sing in big content and happiness (problably waking the others in the process). He continue to hug his little son (despite full well knowing Beldum dont have gender). "Be welcome to the world Beldum. I am your father, Heart. I so much happy to finally meet you my son!"

Is this a normal Beldum or a shiny one @Iron? Or have other moves beside Takedown? After such long adventure in protecting and hatching the Egg since the very begining of the adventure, it might come something cool. Pretty please?

In the begining of the next day, when they finally reach Eleanor, Heart decided to take a look in those Move Tutor and see what moves they have availabe.

It's a normal Beldum, but since it came from Dagny it has Iron Head.


Fire Breather Bel can teach these moves to any Pokemon with a proper mouth and jaw:

Howl's Apprentice can tutor these moves to eligible Pokemon if it's on their ? or level up movelists, including if it's on the movelist of pre-evolutions.

Spira's main goal here is the gym! While he doesn't challenge the gym leader right off the bat, he does take a peek in the gym to see what type is prominently used so he can plan accordingly.
As for his first encounter of the day; Bonding session with Noire.
"You know, girl, its been a pretty rough road that we've been on. But it's because of all the difficulties that we've been through together that allowed me to fully trust you with evolving. In spite of all the bumps and rough spots we've been through, I'm really glad that we spent that time together." he pantomimes giving her a hug, as there is no actual substance to hug.

When Grid sets up the Electroweb experiment, you discover something pretty neat. Dedenne can send pulses between two connected bits of MSC, just like a telegraph! She can also use her power across an entire battlefield's distance in this way.

Her range is boosted if her target is carrying a raw unshielded piece of MSC. Most MSC technologies have some kind of shielding in them.

This won't take an Encounter, nor will merely talking to Angela.

A newly hatched baby Pokemon has 3 Loyalty, 2 Happiness, and all its 0 XP moves. These two have no Surprises, but Minicorn knows Flamethrower thanks to Arcanine's presence. Her ability is Cute Charm of course.

Flabebe is unregistered to a flower, yeah.

Pokemon don't mind having temporary nicknames. They mostly think of those names in relation to a trainer.



Carb: "Just your licenses will be fine! Togepi is already registered to a new Pokeball and we can make the trade using a machine in Cress City Pokemon Center. Noon will do fine. Look for a woman in a red hat named Leslie. Bye!"

And sometimes you get evolved Grass Pokemon on the surface areas. If you want to do your own mining, the best way is to get hired as a bodyguard by Foreman Fortescue. You can help them mine out Sunstones and shards, protect his workers from violent Pokemon, and get paid in keeping the Sunstones you dig up."

The Gym is an underground bunker of concrete blocks. Aboveground is a training area with a high fence. Inside you see a bunch of Poochyena pups gamboling about and nipping at a Houndoom.

The trainers below are using Dark, Fighting, Fairy, and the occasional Ghost type, but mostly Dark.

Neat!  Now the trick is going to be figuring out a way to make carrying lots of MSC easier for Dedenne without lessening the effectiveness of the trick...

In any case, now that those experiments are done, it's probably about time that we registered Dedenne to a standard pokeball.  No complaints from Dedenne?

Okay, so the next thing on the list is talking to Angela about that tip she had.  It's still the weekend, so she should be in the grove to the north of town that she mentioned.  In case it matters, Nathan's party of pokemon will be Gallade, Calam, Dedenne (assuming she's fine with being registered to a ball now), Charizard, Mizu, and Ray.  Calam, of course, is leading the way since he can help pinpoint exactly where Angela is.

Nathan watches Angela train against that Spinarak for a bit, waiting until she finishes before making his presence known. Given that it's just a Spinarak, it probably doesn't take long for Angela to finish with it.

"Nice to see you again, Angela.  Here for that secret ya promised me.  Oh, and thanks again for the help the other day.  Mr. Mime doing okay?"

The tiny flower fairy looks a bit sad and lonely in Shiva's eyes without a flower serving as a symbiotic partner, she is also aware that this species can't survive without this connection. After all, the Flabebe Line is somewhat the perfect link between Fairy and Grass Type, probably that's why Shiva is very fond of them. That, and their method of reproduction is a special one due to there are only female exemplars, it's very close to actual pollination with the seed eventually becoming the Egg according to her father.

She carefully waves Flabebe to her to hold her in her cupped hands. "Ah, Fuchsia, but we of course won't go out without you having bonded with a flower, that'd be way too dangerous. >o<; Now then..." A short glimpse is enough for Azu to come to Shiva's side with a delighted smile, she probably is told what to do already: In perfect sync with Shiva over-dramatically drawing a Potion Orchid from her stuff, Azu gracefully magic's up a magnificient red rose!~ "You can choose which you like more, this beautiful orchid full of Earthpower or a this symbol of love blessed with a touch of magic. Please choose wisely, as your choice will influence your appearance upon evolution, alright?" (Maybe not really, I just headcanon that.)

Oh... It sounds like those Mines are way more dangerous than Shiva has thought them to be in the first place, that's both an uncomfortable and a pleasant suprise. Uncomfortable because what this NPC tell her is giving the natural fae enthusiast cold shivers down her spine, pleasant because this makes the Sunstones she'll get all the more significant AND it's a neat way to proof herself and her strength. She just hopes the workers won't laugh when she, a delicate-looking young woman, asks to get hired as a bodyguard. :C

On the outside Shiva displays a mixed expression but doesn't fail to thank for the information. "That is good advice, thank you! Yes, I think I'll go that way and find this Foreman, it appears to be the most safe choice. Have a fine morning and day then!"

But before that Shiva goes and finds Terra, wherever the mountain of a man currently dwells. She has Gloom, Cottonee and also Flabebe and Minicorn by her side, visible for everyone actually, and a hot coffee-to-go in her hand, and she seems uncommonly over-excited. "Terrrraaaaa, good morning! I, ehm, hope you've slept well. Look, the Eggs given to me by Noble Arcanine have hatched!!! And this town is so beautiful ♡, what is your first impression? All the flowers, the sunset, the.... oh." She instantly blushes a bit and looks away at the super-interesting floor. "I'm sorry, I, ehm, ...got distracted. Hehe... Ah, what I wanted to say or rather ask, could you, would you...maybe accompany me to the Sunstone Mines, please? Like, now, in a few minutes? I've been told this place provides some threaths you better take seriously, and rare and strong Pokemon dwell there. I just feel better if you as a strong fighter and natural surviver comes along, you see...?
