He comes over and rubs his face on Nathan, who he is coming to trust more than an ordinary human.

Nathan rubs Pyroar affectionately as well.  "Whenever you're ready, Pyroar, I've got a spot for you among my team of pokemon and friends, be it now or later.  You can be assured of that.  We'll be more than willing to welcome you with open arms."

Nathan sits down in front of Pyroar and pulls out the White Flute he made.  Orthros sits next to Nathan as well, looking very happy to have gotten to spend more time with Pyroar.  "Do you like music, Pyroar?  I've been wanting to get into playing flutes like this for a little while, to be honest, and I know Swiftifre quite likes the sound of this flute.  Want to hear what it sounds like?"

If it interests a human, it interests Pyroar! Let's hear it.

Nathan starts playing the flute, though the tune's different this time.

At the end of the day...: Sunset Prayer - Brave Frontier (and just like the other Brave Frontier track, this one can be perfect looped)

Orthros listens attentively to the music too, and I imagine he finds the music comforting like most other pokemon would.  Possibly maybe even a little dream-like with how calming the flute's effects are.  It's another rare moment of peace, a calm amid the storm...so many of his own worries just seem to melt away...it's a vastly different kind of feeling to the nightmare that Mega Delta Houndoom had created, but Orthros doesn't regret joining Nathan in the slightest despite that.  They're members of the same pack, and that's what's most important to him, even if it is a vastly different kind of pack than the one he's originally from.  Orthros is a creature of fear and nightmares, but he's learned of peace, happiness, and dreams from Nathan, and grown all the more because of it...

Gallade's standing off to the side again, leaning against a wall, keeping a respectful distance once again.  His eyes are closed and there's a smile on his face as he listens to the music.  No matter how many times he hears that flute's music, he'll never grow tired of it.  Partially because Nathan's the one playing it, but also because it just sounds that calming.

And at the end of the day, no matter how long it might take, Pyroar will always be welcome among their ranks.

Once Nathan's finished playing the tune, he sets the flute down and asks Pyroar, "...well, what'd you think?"

Oh... It would have been a wonderful and pleasant sight if the circumstances would be more positive, as Shiva's actually pretty impressed by what they find within this cave. She gifts the scene and the Pokemon an admiring "Awww!~" before she quickly switches back into business mode, she's was sebt here with a task that needs to get dealt with! Both the magical fox and icy Eeveelution start to growl lightly at that beaver and grassy turtle.

"That's quite a nice dam you've build up here, Bibarel!", Shiva calls out, "But this isn't the right place for your and Torterra to make up your home, the workers of this mine need the stream you've blocked to flow with ease. Please don't take it personal, but we've been assigned to handle the problem which's source appears to be YOU." Her Pokemon follow a dramatic hand gesture and boldly leap forward, ready to roll.

With a clear nod she confirms to Terra that she'll handle this Torterra, how it is sporting some cave fungi instead of the usual tree kinda catches her interest anyway. She tries to get a good view on it to see if it features any further extraordinaire traits, she has never heard of a Torterra living within a cave. Usually, their base form dwells near lakes or with Breeders before being given to new Trainers. Can she be sure that this exemplar is definitely the Grass/Ground version?

She'll find out in a bit. "Alright, Delphox, show me  your fire magic and don't stop until your foe's having enough. You, Primal Glaceon, please empower your vigor with a mighty howling, then give 'em chills followed by your new skill with the grassy turtle as the target. Ready? Perfect, then go for it!!~"

------------------------

All attacks will target Torterra in the first place for now Primal Glaceon is holding an Oran Berry currently.

Accuracy Roll Delphox' Mystical Fire 1: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6*Channel - 4 Actions = 9d6
Accuracy Roll Delphox' Mystical Fire 2: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6*Channel - 5 Actions = 8d6
Accuracy Roll Delphox' Mystical Fire 3: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6*Channel - 6 Actions = 7d6
Accuracy Roll Delphox' Mystical Fire 4: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6*Channel - 7 Actions = 6d6
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 2 power of the move + STAB + held Charcoal = 7d6 + 1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Autolowers Torterra's Strength by 1. Blaze may trigger for more firepower.

Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Howl 1: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 3 Intimidate - 3 Actions 7d6
Effect: +1 Strength for him.
Secondary Effect: I like the image that he howls from atop Torterra's shell.

Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Icy Wind 2: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6*Channel - 1 Inaccuracy - 4 Actions = 8d6
Damage Roll: 4*Strength + 2 power of the move + STAB = 7d6 + 2 autodamage on Torterra unless it is not Grass/Ground Type, -1 autodamage due to NE on Bibarel
Additional notes: Hits both foes and autolowers their Dext by 1.

Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Ice Shard 3: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6*Channel - 5 Actions = 8d6
Damage Roll: Same as Icy Wind
Additional notes: This move has +1 Priority.

Nathan gains 4XP.

Yes. Pyroar can see how Orthros is part of your pack, and Gallade is like the human equivalent. He'll be comfortable around those two Pokemon and also Rapidash. Also, any Pokemon with 0 Disobedience. But even an Obedient Pokemon who still has an Obedience score will make him nervous and require a roll to obey.

I've gotta go so I don't have time to check if I already said a fee. If not, the fee should be $900. Use whichever is lower.

Gotcha! Pyroar was caught!
Rivalry
2 Happiness, 1 Loyalty, 3 disobedience.
Ember, Work Up, Headbutt, Noble Roar, Fire Fang, Endeavor, Helping Hand

Since Endeavor is on his list twice for some reason, you can replace the ? move with a TM of your choice from Bulbapedia's Pyroar list.

Perfect.  And wow, that fee is a lot lower than I was expecting it to be...

One hug from Nathan later, and he's able to tell Director North that Pyroar seems to be ready.  Which also means Nathan can finally get his stuff back, including the Black Glasses!  Hooray!  Those are being given back to Calam ASAP!  As nice as it is for him to hold the Absolite, he definitely prefers having an item that's useful to him now.  Once he can Mega Evolve, the Black Glasses will be mostly obsolete for him, but until then...

Alright, that should do it for the things that Nathan needed to do outside of Elanor.  Back to the city of flowers and sun we go! I'll get to what Nathan's doing there in a sec.

After the battle, Heart go to the PC and grab the two Beldums he now have. "Hey there Beldum. Its been a while. Sorry to keep you inside the PC for such long time. Here the Beldum I promise to hatch. He even know Iron Head."

Also @Iron, what is the data of the hatch Beldum with Loyalty, Disobedience and happiness? And that Starly you mentioned  when I traded Electrode what is its data?

First thing I want to do in Elanor proper is take advantage of these move tutors.  Oh boy, here we go!  So many moves I want to teach!  Sid's gonna be busy.

Role Play:
Juliet!  This move is right up her alley!  (and with that, she only needs to learn Feather Dance before she's learned all of her currently approved ? moves)

Ember:
Forthright!  Assuming she's compatible with the tutor, she can use Fire even if other weathers are active!

Extreme Speed:
Mizu!  Now she gets to join the coveted ranks of the Extreme Speed Dratini line!

Aqua Jet:
Mizu (it's not quite as strong as E-Speed most of the time, but there are times when you might want to use it over E-Speed)
Blastoise (I want to get off to a good start with Blastoise, so maybe teaching her a new and difficult to learn move will help?  Assuming she'll behave long enough to learn the move, that is)
Carvanha (finally, a stronger Water type move for her to use!  Nathan and Rhea are going to be so proud of her when she's all grown up.)
Anorith (finally, a damaging move other than Scratch!)
Marill (a good start on getting stronger, though Nathan still has to find time to introduce him to Azu)

Bullet Punch:
Metang (saves some exp, and gives Metang more options with its currently limited movepool)

Barrier ($1750):
Ray (given a choice between spending $1750 on a ? move or 19-26 exp on a move that does the same thing in this campaign, I'll take the ? move.  It also means Ray's learned all of his currently available ? moves now)

Foul Play ($1500):
Porygon-Z (now it can actually use a STAB move with that Dark typing if he gets it from Conversion!  How devious!)

Solar Beam ($3500):
Forthright (okay, it's not a tutor move, but I figured I'd throw it in this list anyways since I've been waiting for Forthright to learn this move for awhile!)

So far, Nathan's spent $6750 on those 3 moves that actually cost money to learn.  Not sure if I'll spend any more money on more moves right now, but I would like to know if the following pokemon are compatible with these moves:

--------------------------------

Oh, and Nathan's obviously happy to see Sid again.  He hasn't seen him since they first met in Stair.  In fact, Nathan also has a question for the rollerblading kid.  "So, out of curiosity, how'd you get your nickname, the East Wind, in the first place?"
