Spira smirks, "Well I did do some gym training, so that may explain my strength."

Hida stays out.

Howl looks a little upset as he summons the next Pokeball. When he opens it, the room goes entirely dark. You can't even see your Pokemon's fire. You feel a malign presence permeating the entire room - and you actually recognize it! This is perhaps the most feared non-legendary Ghost type... a Spiritomb.

"That's right. I've hunted far and wide for an Odd Keystone from whence the Spiritomb could be coaxed. It's the ultimate Dark Type Pokemon!" He waits for your reaction before continuing at a calmer pace.

"Well... mine is just a young Spiritomb. It hasn't gathered much power yet, but it has absorbed some of the energy of the Skull Ruins! I think you'll find it a worthy challenge!"

Init: (1) but Hida also rolled a 1, so Spiritomb goes first.

Pokemon hatch with 3 Loyalty, 2 Happiness, and whatever their base Disobedience is. Which is 0 for Beldum.

Starly knows all its moves up to XP 17.

The two Beldum immediately start blinking at each other and sending psychic waves across. There are a number of ways you could trigger evolution at this point:

-Use Typhon or Magneton or whatever to create a supermagnetic field
-Use some Meteoric SuperConductor
-Go to Mt. Sentry.

Sid gives Blastoise private coaching, but teaches Aqua Jet to the rest of your mons all at once by having them attack him all at the same time. They use whatever moves they wish, and he cloaks himself in Aqua and jets around dodging their attacks.

I think I can picture Castform using Frost Breath and Ember. She's pushing it, though, since she doesn't have much of a jaw.

I'm going to say Dratini doesn't have the necessary mouth until becoming Dragonite. She's a pretty similar Pokemon to Milotic, who I said didn't have a proper mouth. And you never see Dratini with open mouth, ever.

Snivy definitely has a proper mouth and thus can learn any of Bel's moves.

"East Wind? I got that name long ago. I'm a different person now, really, but I still take pride in that name."

Alright then.  I might be back for Frost Breath and Dragon Breath on Forthright and Snivy later!  And just for the heck of it, let's teach Snivy Ember while we're at it since he can learn the move.  If he can breathe fire, then he's definitely more like a proper Dragon!  Probably gonna be a little weird for him at first, though, given he's a Grass type.

Nathan chuckles in response to Sid's cryptic answer.  "Oh really?  How long ago we talking about?  Last I heard, almost nobody in modern times remembers what the name of the East Wind even is.  Though after seeing that little performance of yours with Aqua Jet...hmmm...well, let me take a guess: Sid's just a short version of your full name, isn't it?"

Nathan did say 'almost', after all.

(S. Diggersby actually takes 3 Lethal Damage, due to SE.)

Which Terra proceed to do so ASAP after that darn beaver was clobbered into unconsciousness, rushing over to their side and pulling out a Super Potion and Sitrus Berry to treat all the Lethal Damage in a jiffy! That didn't stop him from fretting over his buff bunny with visible worry, though, as them getting railed full force by a steel beam left the sagely monk very alarmed for their well being.

"Diggersby? You okay now? Wounds not hurting you?"

Once he received an affirmative from them (which I imagine to be somewhat bashful of the doting attention he's getting from his normally stoic boss), he breaths a *sigh* of a relief, before smiling and crouching down to give them a comforting/congratulatory pat on the head.

"Good. Very good. Was worried that rodent......harmed you badly. Great job taking care of them.......Inabi. Yes......Inabi. That is your name now. Named after a tough rabbit god. Is it okay?"

(Reaction?)

After that small moment, Terra stands back up and points to the dam, and calmly ordered his now divine digger to tear it down after he, Shiva, and her Pokemon are safely out of its way/any possible fallout from it being torn down. There after he goes gets the miners to take care of the Fainted Pokemon. Simple!

.....Well, save for one thing: he makes an inquiry if it was possible for him to purchase the right to capture the strange tortoise. Its unique fugal natural and fortitiude definitely caught his eye, and he'd like to see if he could make them a partner of his. Or Shiva's, if she too was interested in it.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Inspired by the confidence of his boss, Inabi takes the dam apart in record time.

"A Torterra? Let me radio the boss."

A short radio conversation later:

"I told the boss it was covered in fungus. He said he didn't want it, so you can buy capture rights for $400."

Awesome! Someone's definately getting some fresh carrots tonight with that hard working attitude!

Terrific! Terra will most certainly buy the capture rights for Torterra for $400 Poke in that case, and tries to catch it with a Great Ball after summoning Melly and Genie to try and  Paralyze/Toxic it for easier capture (He doesn't know its a Ground type, or that it could possibly be Poison too). Speaking of which, Terra will also use an Antidote to cure Inabi's Poison Status, as he/I forgot about that in the rush to treat their Lethal Damage!

(Of course, that Roll may have to wait for Phantom's input if she wants Torterra, but I'm in no rush so that is fine!)

Another chuckle from Nathan.  "Well, saying you're almost a different person now definitely seems to be accurate.  Don't think anyone would suspect who you really are unless they did a whole lot of digging through ancient history...or visited it themselves, for that matter.  Can't say I ever expected to learn what little I have, but hey, it's funny how things work sometimes, and you can never fully expect to know where the wind will lead you, right?  Mind if I get a picture?  I'd like to have one to help me remember this moment."

--------------------------------

Okay, I think it's also about time to move on to Nathan's first proper encounter for the day once the thing with Sid is wrapped up, and this upcoming encounter is something I've been waiting to do for a long, long time.  It's finally time for Nathan to use another one of those phone numbers he's collected!  Who's he calling?

Flick Rassan!  He did say to call him for a battle if Nathan ever happens to be in Elanor, after all.  Don't remember him OOC?  He's the guy that Nathan returned a bag of pokeballs to waaaaaaayyyyy back in Fireweed Forest on the return trip to Wineberry Town.  That was awhile ago, but I assume the offer of a battle still holds.
