[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

After that, and once I'm finished with talking with Spira, just needs Iron's input whether it'd doable what's been suggested in the first place. Windos, I also just remembered that you wanted to give that Wondertrade-Espeon to Shiva sometime once a new Day started (I guess), but let's save that for another time, okay? There's no need to rush that, and I would want to make it a bit more than a simple 'Here, you can have this 'Mon, bye'.

I just been so free to edit that Skull Ruins Party document with all our teams, I hope that's okay.

Maybe one day he'll see that Pokemon she's talking about, and learn even more about it....

Terra's used Angie's species name before in one or two prior posts like this one (likely knowledge he has thanks to his pokedex, or maybe Nathan or Shva mentioned it at some point on or off screen), so I think odds are decent that Terra would indeed recognize what Tanuki means when she says she has a Dunseraph.

This reminds me: it's probably be going to be amusing when Terra asks Nathan about the 'dragon lady' and where to find her, 'cuz Nathan doesn't know Angela has a Dunseraph Tongue

Okay! I'll edit that part out accordingly, then!

Its going to be fun indeed! Terra things that Angela is a Dragon using Trainer as opposed to Fairy, so he'd model his team and expectation around that! Won't he be in for a surprise when the truth comes out!

Out of curiosity, do any of the pokemon we're bringing to the Skull Ruins know Swagger?  Because if I remember correctly, if you use Swagger on a pokemon with Own Tempo (like Solomon) in the games, they still get the +2 attack even though they're immune to the Confusion.

Yena and Posei both know it iirc, right?

Yeap, that should be the case!

Edmundi the Bastiodon also knows Swagger, and Lilith knows Flatter, which works like a slightly weaker version of it . That's all the Pokemon I know that have applied buff Moves of that category, if we are not counting Helping Hand or Accupressure (Not sure if anyone's Pokemon learn that Move, though).

Except Flatter decreases Strength in Pokerole for some reason.  :/

Acupressure's a really rare move.  The only pokemon in the group that knows Acupressure atm is Yogi.  Nathan's Doduo could also learn it.  (However, Pokerole rules state that the user can only use it on themselves for some reason, even though it can be used on either the user or an ally in the games)

Oh. In that case, Flatter is only useful for Pokemon that have either Defiant, Competitive, Tangled Feet and/or Guts in Pokerole, when it comes to using it on their allies. Shame that's the case, but at least it differentiates it from Swagger in a positive way in one way!

Darn it! Sometimes, the Pokerole authors make the most bizarre decisions, when it comes to interpreting the main games Moves, geez. Maybe Iron would be willing to overlook that, for the sake of Ditto being able to copy the Move from Yogi to use it on team members, just in case (Though he'd better of using Helping Hand , Tailwind, Heal Pulse etc.. in many cases, but hey, the option should be there!). Speaking of Ditto, Terra would show all his Loyal Pokemon (Shiranui, Lapis, Genie, Melly, Basteele, his current team, Inari, Seismitoad, Anubi, Tommy, and Yogi to them, just so that they can 'use its partners' as need be, just in case!

By the way, if anyone wants to borrow any held items from anyone, now would also be the time to arrange that.

I've already offered to loan the NMI to Shiva, just waiting on confirmation of that.

Terra's going to borrow Nathan's Hard Stone as well, since Solomon can get some good use out of that.

If anyone wants to borrow the Mystic Water from Nathan, it's currently available.

I can also loan out the Itching Powder if anyone has any Bug moves they want to boost.

I could also maybe loan out the Fang of Houndoom's Rage.

--------------------------------

It should be possible to exchange items in between some encounters while in the Ruins as well if necessary (as we'll probably have all of them on hand to swap in and out as needed, of course), but this is another step of team preparation that we can potentially get out of the way now.

---------------------------------

Oh yes, and for the record, on Day 78, Ditto's random transformation at the start of the day is a Grumpig with Own Tempo. Another thing I needed to state.

I would like to to have that Mystic Water for Gustav. That way, his Water Pulse will be powerful, along with Muddy Water.
