D-M-Charizard-X Round 1

Flash 1
(1)(2)(4)(1)(5)(4) (1)(3)(4)(5)
Charizard bellows and reacts violently, quite the opposite of Flash's effect in Shiva's encounter.
-4 accuracy which will fade to -3 shortly

Scary Face 1
(4)(5)(2)(1)(6)(3)(4)
-2 Dex (although it doesn't make any sense that Charizard would be able to see the Scary Face, maybe there is some roaring too)

A change comes over Kelda. Her face becomes suddenly sunken and drawn, and a sandy wind swirls around her. The ancient ground splits at small areas, revealing protruding bone shards, legs and arms snapped in half into sharp points. They thrust forward and pass through the strange Charizard at his head and tail.

Bone Blades 1 & 2
(6)(3)(1)(6)(2)(4) (3)
(6)(3)(5)(6)(5)(5) Critical
(2)
(5)(3)(2)
Kelda is sad to see it doesn't deal super effective damage, but she's demonstrated her stuff by using a Ground "spell" on Mega Charizard.
Foe Charizard takes 1 dmg

Her face goes back to normal, squinting a bit and with a determined expression.

Unblind 1 Charizard rages and wreathes his eyes in dark fire to assuage the bright assault.

Night Slash 2
(3)(4)(2)(6)(6)(2) (2)(3)(1)(4) Critical
(2)(6)(6)(2)(5) Foe Charizard takes 2 dmg, revealing he is part Dark type. 7/10hp -1 pain

Rock Smash 2 - very foresighted orders.
(3)(3)(4)(4)(5)(5) (3)(4)(6) Critski
(6)(5)(5)(1)(2)(5) Foe Charizard takes 5 dmg 2/10hp -2 pain
CD: (2)(2)(4)(1)(1)

Night Slash 2 on your Charizard. Squinting whenever that real fire crosses his field of vision.
(6)(3)(6)(4) - 3 successes
Evade 3: (4)(2)(2)(4)(2)(2) Only 2 successes.
6 Str + 3 power +1 stab +1 from the Ruins -4 vit = 7d6
(4)(4)(4)(3)(6)(6) (3) Nathan's Charizard takes 5 lethal damage and crashes from the sky, his tail reducing some ruins to rubble, his fire flickering on and off.

Calam cries vengeance!
Rock Smash 3
(6)(4)(3)(4)(1)(4) (5)(5)(3) Critical
(1)(5)(2)(4) The Charizard projection faints, crumbling to ash but leaving very real damage. Like Gengar, the refuse of the Pokemon doesn't look like it was very healthy for the environment.

The rock puzzle also splits down the middle of each tile. Within each one is a small nugget of gold, crudely shaped to resemble a sunlike symbol, a web connecting each tile to the others internally. The melt value of the gold is $8000.

Nathan's side of the encounter is worth 12XP.

Charizard's bellowing cry of pain from taking so much Lethal damage from one attack is only accentuated by the humiliation of failing to dodge that move.  And after he did so well dodging all those Sideways Whips in the Almanac Labs, too...

And Nathan was prepared for a moment like this!  He immediately rushes to Charizard's side to stabilize and treat those wounds effectively and quickly!  "...hold still for a moment, buddy...you're doing good, alright?  You're doing just fine..."  Nathan's confidence in Charizard's skill and how he'll pull through this mishap shines through, a far cry from how the dragon's original trainer acted.  If there's anything Nathan wants to reinforce with Charizard, it's that he'll always be there for him, no matter what, and that Charizard isn't disappointing Nathan at all.

If that Night Slash had crit, that could have potentially killed Charizard outright...fortunately, the Lucky Chant outright prevented that possibility entirely, but...phew...that was close...

Stabilize Check:
6 + 5 + 0 - 3 = 8 D6

One Hyper Potion is also used on Charizard to help patch up those wounds lickety split!

I love the justified "wine-in-front-of-me" paranoia Terra is displaying here, reasoning out whether to trust Cosh with this or not. +2 XP.

Cosh gives Terra a buff akin to Iron Defense, giving him +2 Vitality in very short bursts. Long enough to fly over some traps, for example.

Cosh's spells won't stack with the Salac Berry, but you could actually save that berry and trust in the spells.

The Dragon Flight Express is immediately subsumed in foul-smelling clouds which rise up from the barrow pits, which make sounds like dry, raspy, long-dead coughing. You can see Duskull moving around slowly down there, impervious to the scent. But you three aren't! All three of you are at least partly susceptible to what's about to happen.

Spirits within the fumes flood your nostrils and seep into your very souls. You are now operating under a temporary Curse, which gives 2 successes to any attack against you.

Like these!

(Angie is big enough to shield her riders from all but the very worst attacks)

Poison Darts
(5)(5)(4)(5)(1)(4)(1) (6*)(6*) Critical
(1)(6) Angie takes 1 dmg and is badly poisoned

Acid Spray
(3)(2)(2)(1)(6*)(6*)
This nasty trap eats away at held items. It didn't get enough successes today, however.

Blinding Powder
(5)(5)(4)(4)(2)(1)(6*)(6*)

Angie goes blind! You are sent bucking in all sorts of random directions. It's difficult to see the proper path beneath you with all the smog and the wild serpent you're riding. Cosh holds on for dear life, looking grim. Got a plan for this?

A Super Potion is just the right amount to heal his Lethal Damage, and with the Hurtloam you Revive him with 1hp.

(4)(4)(2)(5)(1) In your medical opinion, Golett needs to avoid any risks to his head for the next few days. The connections are still damaged despite the healing - the equivalent of a scar for the constructed Pokemon. You are able to patch it up a little with some clay.

Great Ball: (6)(5)(6)(2) v (4)(3)(3)(5)(3)(5) (1) Escaped but doesn't break the ball
(4)(3)(5)(2) v (6)(2)(2)(1)(4)(5) (2) Ball #1 broken
(3)(3)(5)(5) v (5)(2)(4)(6)(1)(1) (4) Ball #2 broken.

Gendry doesn't look too enthused about catching it though, and lets it sink away into the ground with a sizzle of poison.

Is that all you do here before continuing past the fallen statue?

The bleeding is not lethal damage, but more like Poison in that you will take damage each round.

Arachnautilus summons blue cords from within the blood itself to wrap around your ankles, constricting them and temporarily stopping the bleeding. But she can't keep this up forever, not if she wants to cast other spells.

The Almanac briefly identifies the paintbrush Pokemon as Raffiti - it sounds like a Dark type Smeargle. No time to listen to the full entry, and the screen is dimming fast in the eldritch darkness. It doesn't know what the jagged-tailed thing is.

It does seem like it's gonna come down to a fight, which is more Arachnautilus' style.

Arachnautilus: (6) + 8 = 14
Swarm of common rats: (6) + 3 Dex + 5 Survival = 14
Whimsicott: (4)
Raphael: (3)
Special rats: (1)

(Thank you! I wanted to justify letting Terra get himself a Scimitar buff, and what better way than to logic it out?)

Terra does, as he Grapples tightly to his 'little' girl and shimmies up to her head, and cranes down to bellows out: "Angie, CALM DOWN! YOUR BLINDNESS LIKE DIGGING IN DARK, AND YOUR OTHER SENSES SHARP! REMEMBER! STAY STILL, SO I CAN GET A BOTTLE OF WATER TO WASH YOUR EYES!"

Orders: Try to calm down Angie, and if that works, get a bottle of water out and start cleaning out her eyes. The Blinding Powder trap has already triggered, so as long as The Dragon Flight Express stays in the relative same spot, it should avoid other traps. After that, proceed as before. If she doesn't listen.....well, he'll just double his Grapple onto her and ride out her pained rage until she calms down herself. Let's just hope our flight gets back on schedule soon....
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Mismagius Coven Round 1

Mean Look 1A-C
(4)(6)(3)(5)(5)(1)
(3)(6)(3)(2)(4)(4)
(3)(2)(4)(2)(1)(6)
Your team was trapped!

Confuse Ray 1
(6)(2)(1)(5)(5)(1)(1)
Toya was confused!

The other half coven immediately gangs up on the big ghost, flying around and around him, chanting in a nonsense language that doesn't even sound human. Perhaps it's not even a language at all. But it's definitely identifiable as a curse!

Hex 1A-D
(2)(5)(3)(1)(6)(4)(2)
(1)(3)(6)(6)(4)(1)(1)
(1)(6)(2)(4)(4)(5)(5) Critical

(5)(6)(6)(1) 4dmg
(1)(2)(5)(6) 3 dmg
(4)(6)(6)(4) 5 dmg Toya faints!

Toya's sacred garments are torn to shreds, his form battered. He drastically suffered from not going first in initiative, and from some really good dice rolls on damage.

Elya heard you command Toya to use Flash, and does so herself with a protesting whine from her gauntlet.

Flash 1
(6)(4)(1)(3)(5)(1) (1)(5)
-3 Accuracy for Mismagius Group A

Their movement becomes less mischievous and much more serious. Group A takes an action to clear blindness.

Group B hits Elya with every trick they've got.

Confuse Ray 2
(2)(2)(2)(4)(2)
Elya became confused!

Icy Wind 2
(5)(2)(1)(4)(5)(3)

-1 Dex for Spira and Elya

Growl 2
(3)(4)(3)(2)
-1 Str for Spira and Elya.

Lucky Chant 2
(6)(6)(1)(6)(3)(4)

Elya blasts light from her Gauntlet at the second group, too late to stop their curses. She also twists the Gauntlet and her skin shimmers, changing color a bit.

Flash 2

Hex 3A-D

(6)(6)(3)(6)(3)(5) Elya takes 3 dmg 7/10hp -1 pain
(6)(2)(5)(4)(3)(1) 2 dmg 5/10hp -2 pain

The other group recovers from blindness.

Pulsing Darkness 3
(6)(6)(6)(2)
8 dmg dice -3 vit = 5d6+1
(4)(4)(3)(4)(4) Mismagius Group 1 takes 5 dmg 2/7hp -1 pain.

Elya sits back, exhausted, but ready for the Coven to come at her again. She blasts one witch with one last status for Spira's benefit.

Swagger Spell 4
(3)(5)
Mismagius A1 was confused

Steel Ball: (3)(6) v 8 will -2 pain -1 status (3)(6)(2)(4)(5) If that were an ordinary Pokeball it would have been destroyed!

Theme: Down the Daaarkness!
------------------------------------------

Does that mean an Antidote will cure that bleeding permanently? If it does, Shiva will instantly draw three of them after having thanked Arachna for the instant aid, now she can freely cast more spells.

------------------------------------------

Shiva has never heard about a Pokemon called 'Raffiti', must indeed come from Tandor. But what allures her interest and curiosity much more is that jet-black rodent with a jagged tail......??????? 'Maybe - or probably? -  IT is the source of this immense blackness!', she thinks to herself as she tries hard to get a good look at it: Her desire to catch this unknown creature is very strong.

She chuckles delightfully over Arachna's obvious eager to battle. "Very well then...*mimicing her bold stance* Raphael, Whimsi, don't let the blackness or the spirit's presence faze us, give these rats a good taste of your fae's light and voice! But first...." She casts a mischievous smile that none sees and her fluffball mimics.

".....more fluff!!~"
Accuracy Roll Cotton Guard 1: 4 Dext + 3 Survival + 5 Nature + 1 Ethereal Ribbon Bonus - 5 Actions = 8d6
Effect: +3 Defense, bringing her to 7*Vitality. She plays it extrasafe at the presence of so many rats.
Secondary Effect: +1 Priority thanks to Prankster Ability.

Then she proceeds to BLAST these mean rats with the power of shining light!

Accuracy Roll Dazzling Gleam 2: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 6 Actions = 7d6
Accuracy Roll Dazzling Gleam 3: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 7 Actions = 6d6
Accuracy Roll Dazzling Gleam 4: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 8 Actions = 5d6
Accuracy Roll Dazzling Gleam 5: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 9 Actions = 4d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 3 power of the move + STAB + Ethereal Ribbon = 10d6 +1 autodamage on the Alola Raticate and Raffiti
Additional notes: Hits all foes (currently 6) and hopefully isn't absorbed by the darkness.

Raphael's taking this chance to hone his beautiful singing voice.

Accuracy Roll Disarming Voice 1: 4 Dext + 4*Fight + 4 Allure - 5 Actions = 7d6
Accuracy Roll Disarming Voice 2: 4 Dext + 4*Fight + 4 Allure - 6 Actions = 6d6
Accuracy Roll Disarming Voice 3: 4 Dext + 4*Fight + 4 Allure - 7 Actions = 5d6
Accuracy Roll Disarming Voice 4: 4 Dext + 4*Fight + 4 Allure - 8 Actions = 4d6
Damage Roll: 4 Strength + 2 power of the move + STAB + Ethereal Ribbon = 8d6 +1 autodamage on the Alola Raticate and Raffiti
Additional notes: This move will hit all foes (currently 6) even if the Accu Roll fails.

So much practicing made the archangel tired though.
Accuracy Roll Yawn 5 at the unknown rodent: 4 Dext + 4*Fight + 6 Channel - 9 Actions = 5d6
Effect: Makes them fall asleep at the start of the next Round.
Secondary Effect:  Makes them easier to catch.

------------------------------------------

- Focus on the group of common rats, once they're fainted the special ones are targeted.
- If only one or two foes are left once Whimsicott gets to her 5th Action, use Giga Drain instead: Same dice pool in Accu like DazzlingGleam and one dice less in Damage Roll.
- Once the jet-black rodent with the jagged tail is fainted and asleep, Shiva will attempt to capture it with 2 Pokeballs at first. If they break, await further input. Shiva will defend this catch of hers towards Arachnautilus is she herself shows interest in this creature.

------------------------------------------

Me too thought it's a Ratsy, but I support that customization:
