Ooooohhhhhh!!~ ヽ(°〇°)ノ This is a nice semi-proof for Shiva that some old civilisations have been much more advanced than history believes and teaches, and grants her +1 fascination for that old crude telescope. If there wouldn't be the Ghosts that decided to play their mean tricks on them all, it would have been immensely hard to pull her away from this tesecope as she'd want to discover all secrets it holds.

Her mild disappointment over being seperated from the neat object doesn't last for long at all though, as once she has recovered from the fall, all these craftings awake her curiosity and interest AGAIN and not an inch less intensively: What's this strange place, and where do all these lovely pieces of art come from?? They're so nicely preserved even!

As said, Shiva immediately begins to (carefully) investigate the collected craftsmanship here, lets Whimsicott illuminate selected pieces for better observing and tries to catch up some tricks and inspiration from all these items for her own craftings. Suddenly however, she stops to a halt and gasps lightly, then quickly nudges Arachnautilus to get her attention. "Arachna, look!! *points to something small and alive in the darkness near a wall* This.... this rodent there, it looks similar to that big bulky black rat we've seen, that 'Raffiti', doesn't it? I... It appears to be painting... I'll go take a look! ^_^ " Off Shiva is before edgy spider-nautilus Scimitar can say a thing, but from her wording Shiva wouldn't mind if Arachna comes too. She just wouldn't want her to outright start a battle!

Arachnautilus dismisses the Ratsy and continues looking for the path downward.

Ratsy lets you get fairly close as he paints a long line of Egyptian-looking designs, many of them using lots of gold, silver, black, and red coloration. (You don't think it's actual gold though). These designs are intricate but abstract. Then he starts drawing a shiny coin, easily recognizable. He starts looking over his shoulder at you when he's about halfway done, and hisses.

(Well crap, you certainly pumped up their speed, didn't you mate?)

Beyond all expectation, it quickly became apparent to the sagely monk that the granite giants were faster that his mushroom of champions and Nathan's psychic sloth, causing his frown to deepen before he started barking out orders!

"Mikey, put these rock monsters to Sleep! Solomon, FLASH, and use Brine on one of them! *If Cosh is with Terra* Cosh, if you can slow them down or protect us, do it please!"

Orders: Mikey will be sticking to Spore spam this Round, using it 5 times against them. If they're immune to sleep for some reason, though, he'll switch to using Drain Punching them all instead, focusing on the same target as Solomon before they both move on to focus down another together. Solomon will be using FLASH to attempt and screw with all their vision and reduce the chance a stray Stone Edge or the like can savage the team (Terra will cover his eyes right before it too, just in case), before using Brine on one target 4 times until its knocked out stone cold. If either of Terra's Pokemon takes 1/2 their HP as Damage OR takes 2 or More Lethal Damage, he'll use a Super Potion on one of them. This is going to be harder than I though since you grouped them all together and gave them the same fast INI , but hopefully plenty of tranquilizers will put them all to rest!

Moves:

Mikey: 5 Actions - Spore X 5
Condition Orders: Drain Punch X 4 (STR + 3, Heal 1/2 Damage dealt as HP [Min 1])
Solomon: 5 Actions - FLASH and Brine X 4 (STR + 2, add + 3 Damage Dice if Target's HP is > 1/2 MAX)
Dice Pools: Channel (12D6), Brawl (14D6)

Shiva has no idea that Ratsy is called Ratsy until she'd read it up in her Almanac, but I think she's definitely able to make out that it's related to that Raffiti she met and caught yesterday. Looks like the pre-evolution of this big black rodent by her guess.

She watches with awe and lots of interest as the rat is living out their artistic nature via these Egyptian designs; but as he hisses at her, Shiva quickly flinches back. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!! I didn't mean to....disturb you in your activity. Please excuse!" She chuckles nervously and visibly embarrassed. ".....*cough* I was just interested in what you're drawing there, I've never seen a Pokemon like you. These are some neat designs - you seem to enjoy depicting hieroglyphics, do you? May I watch how you finish that shining coin?" *hopeful and inquiring smile*

If she may, she'll patiently do so, and offer Ratsy an apple to show that she appreciates his skill. If she isn't, then... then she'll back off a little more to give the artistic rat some more space, then asks again.

Ghosts Galore! Round one

Gendry and Elya join the battle. They battle and catch two of the ghosts, teasing them away from the main group and subduing them rapidly. This will make the encounter easier, and also make my job easier. You can then trade with them if you want.

Here are the combatants!

Gastly/Haunter/Gengar: (6) + 10 = 16
A Froslass with ruby gems where her ice shards should be: (6) + 10 = 16
Hida and Ditto: (5) + 8 = 13
Ditto = 13
Yamaskx2: (1) +8 = 9
Shedinja x2: (4) + 3 Dex = 7
The Shedinja are floating around a massive bloated Nincada, which seems to be fast asleep.

The Gastly evolves into Gengar.

Shadow Ball 1
(4)(5)(2)(3)(6)(2) (2)(1)
5 Str + 3 power +1 stab +1 Spell tag
(2)(2)(2)(4)(6) Ditto takes 2 dmg 8/10hp -1 pain
CD: (4)

Then back again to its smallest form.

Wake Up Slap 1
(5)(3)(2)(5)(4)(1) (1)(3)
(5)(6) Hida takes 3 dmg 7/10hp -1 pain

Incinerate 1
(4)(1)(4)(5)(5)(4) (5) Critical.
(4), (1), (2), (3)
Gastly takes 1 dmg 9/10hp
Froslass takes 2 dmg 6/8hp -1 pain
Shedinja take 2 dmg 2/4hp -2 pain
Yamask take 1 dmg 5/6hp

Rock Slide 1
(3)(5)(2)(1)(5)(4) (3)(4)(6) Critical
(6)(6)(5) , (3), (2), (6)
Shedinja faint
Gastly takes 3 dmg 6/10hp -1 pain
Froslass takes 4 dmg 2/8hp -2 pain
Yamask take 3 dmg 2/6hp -2 pain
CD: (1)(1)(1)

The Yamask float up from the statues, bearing the noble features of Sarimanok's time. Each one carries a very small key from each hand.

Ominous Wind 1AB
(1)(5)(1)(1)(4)
(2)(5)(3)(3)(1)
(2)
(1)
CD: (1) The wind the Yamask raise from the depths of the tombs do nothing against your heavy rock monsters.

Gastly shifts back to Gengar for maximum punch and bulk.
Shadow Ball 2
(6)(2)(5)(6)(1)(2)
(3)(2)(1)(5)(6) Hida takes 2 dmg 5/10hp -2 pain
Ditto takes 2 dmg 6/10hp -1 pain
CD: (2)

Wake Up Slap 2
(2)(1)(5)(5)(4)(1)
(2)(1) Ditto takes 1 dmg 5/10hp -2 pain

Incinerate 2
(1)(2)(4)(5)(5)
(1)(4), (4), (2) Froslass faints.
Gengar takes 1 dmg 5/8hp
Yamask takes 2 dmg and faints.

Good job, you reduced their HP before they could levy their curses against you.

The encounter is worth 14XP, but I'll wait until you decide if you want to catch any.

The Scimitars caught a Phantump with a triple stump, a shiny sheetlike Shuppet, and one Yamask for "research."

(Which means, if I've been properly keeping track of Spira's exp, he's now at 24 which'll be used for a 5th point in Chemistry)
While he's not sure why, something makes him want to catch one of the Shedinja. Retro Pokeball will be used.
After all is said and done, Spira takes a closer look at the oversized Ninjask, careful not to wake it. If he does, Rock Slides from Hida or a Power Gem from Nubi will be used to (hopefully) quickly beat it into submission.

Actually max Dex is 3 so I'm gonna drop it to 14. Still faster than your mons thanks to their knowledge of the area.

Cosh will go after Mikey.

Gigalith Horde Round 1

Time for the Gigalith to show off what makes them so dangerous. I think this is the first Offense-oriented Tough encounter rather than defense.

Rock Blasts all around!
3 Dex + 4 Fight + 3 -1 acc -3 actions = 6d6 and down.
(3)(4)(3)(2)(2)(2)
(1)(6)(5)(4)(3)(3)
(3)(6)(6)(5)(4)(3)

(6)(3)(4)(6)(1)(2)
(2)(3)(4)(3)(3)(4)
(5)(1)(4)(4)(2)(2)

(4)(3)(6)(6)(3)(3)
(3)(4)(3)(5)(5)(4)
(6)(5)(6)(6)(1)(1)

9 hits on Mikey.

6 Str + 1 stab + 1 power = just 2d6 each, -1. This might not go so bad for the Shroom.

(3)(3)
(4)(4)
(6)(1)
(6)(4)
(4)(5)
(1)(5)

(5)(3)
(4)(6)
(3)(6)

Mikey takes 4 dmg 6/10hp -1 pain

Gonna be rougher for Solomon.

More Rock Blasts from the other half
(1)(6)(1)(6)(6)(4)
(6)(5)(5)(5)(2)(2)
(6)(4)(3)(5)(2)(1)

(5)(1)(1)(6)(1)(1) Miss
(1)(3)(2)(2)(6)(3)
(1)(1)(1)(3)(6)(2)

(3)(4)(6)(5)(5)(2)
(2)(3)(6)(6)(3)(3)
(5)(6)(3)(6)(1)(1) Hit 8 times. Solomon has 13 hp under Terra's instructions.

(1)(4)
(3)(6)
(5)(1)
(5)(4)
(5)(3)
(4)(6)

(5)(3)
(6)(4) Solomon takes 11 dmg but the stringent orders of Terra keep him on his feet. 2/13hp.

Spore 1
(3)(1)(6)(4)(2)(3) Gigalith A falls asleep!

"Taking them out of the battle is a good idea. One step back, please. Get the shroom to step over THERE... perfect."

Fissure 1
(4)(1)(4)
Gigalith B is reduced to 1 hp.

Flash 1
(4)(1)(3)(2)(2)
Gigalith were blinded! -3 acc

Insight: The nice thing about your strategy is that Rock Blast takes up all their turns.

Spore 2
(1)(5)(2)(5)(3)
Gigalith C fell asleep

Solomon gets a Super Potion, now at 8/13hp.

Brine 2
(1)(1)(3)(4)(4)
8 dice -5 vit = 2d6+1
(2)(4)(6) Gigalith D takes 3 dmg 7/10hp -1 pain

Fissure 2
(3)(4)
Gigalith E is reduced to 1hp.

Spore 3
(3)(6)(1)(5)
Gigalith F fell asleep

Fissure 3
(2)

The chamber is pretty much ruined now, but Cosh doesn't care.

Brine 3
(2)(2)(3)(4)
(2)(4)(1) Gigalith D takes 2 dmg 5/10hp -2 pain and passes that critical half HP mark.

Spore 4
(3)(4)(5)
Gigalith B went to sleep.

Brine 4
(1)(4)(5)
(4)(5)(1)(2)(2)(4) Gigalith D takes 4 dmg 1/10hp

A: Asleep, full HP
B: Asleep, 1hp, sturdy gone
C: Asleep, full HP
D: Asleep, 1HP, sturdy gone
E: Asleep, 1HP, sturdy gone
All have -3 acc

He accepts the apple and runs off to a crack in the wall. When he returns, the apple is gone. He hisses until Shiva backs way up. He finishes drawing the coin, and to Shiva's amazement it comes into being much like a Keni Morgusi drawing! The rat pulls the coin out, puts it in its mouth, and runs back to the crack in the wall. It does not emerge, except to poke its nose out and see if Shiva has gone.
