[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Treasure Crustle Round 1

Doublade: (5)
Quetzal: (1)
Crustle: (3)

Wide Guard 1
(4)(3)(2)(4)(3)(6) (4)(1)

Bind 1
(1)(4)(4)(6)(4)(6)
Can't deal damage, but binds up the Crustle.

Pay Day 1
(5)(2)(4)(3)(6)(4) (5)(6) Critical hit
4 Str + 2 power, this can't hurt either of your steel types.

Money was scattered all around!

Wide Guard 2
(5)(3)(1)(5)(4)

Ice Fang 2
(6)(3)(1)(5)(1)(4)
(1)(4)(6) Crustle takes 2 dmg 6/8hp -1 pain.
CD: (5)(6) Crustle was frozen!
CD: (2)(1)

Rock Smash 3
(2)(6)(2)(4)(3)(5)
(4)(2)(1)(4)(4) Crustle takes 3 dmg 3/8hp -2 pain
CD: (6)(3)(6)(4)(1) -1 def for Crustle

Ice Fang 3
(4)(4)(6)(6)(4) Critical!
(5)(1)(5)(3)(2)(6) Crustle faints. The heavy lid of its back flops open, spilling out more Nuggets and old treasures and jewelry than could physically have fit inside! You see that the upper lid is another crude Capture Web, allowing this Crustle's back to act like a crude Pokeball for storage of items.

There must be $22,000 worth of treasure in here.

Doublade and Heart and Steelix get 4XP each.

Ratsy is behind too much cover to use any moves. He's considered on a different battlefield.

Ratsy steals (4) little shiny stars off of your journal, and one of the pages! Then scurries back into his hole.

It comes SHEAFing out a second later, covered in intricate designs, paint still wet.

When you show off the Sylveon, Ratsy immediately pokes his whole head out. He reaches a hand out to touch the card.

"Excelent job guys! No problemo in the battle, and best of all no damage cause against ya. Wide Guard is awesome." Heart then gather all this nice money around it. "Man, cant wait to return to the City and buy some good items." Heart then look to Crustle, and then he throw at him 3 Normal Pokeball and 2 Great Balls. Lets try my luck to capture such Pokemon to gain some super extra profit.

(Fair enough!)

With the last stone titan successfully pummeled into oblivion, the mountain of a man let out a *Sigh* of relief and smiled at his partners, nodding as he did so and letting out Solomon too, now that the fight was over.

"Good job, Mikey, Solomon, and Angie. Took care of Rock monsters fast and easy, and......withstood their own might. *Turns to Solomon and inclines his head respectfully* Especially you. You toughed out their Rock Blasts, and fought back against them twice as hard. Well done."

I imagine all the Pokemon are happy with the praise and their performance, but the wise king felt rather accomplished himself. Under Terra's stewardship, he had learnt a surprising amount from the seemingly simple man, from how to handle diplomacy, work together with people you have every reason to hate, bypass/take care of traps and obstacles, and now how to endure some of the very worst an enemy has to offer. All that effort and experience was coalescing within his great big noggin, and he knew exactly how to use it now! Solomon learns Heal Pulse for 58 XP, leaving him with just 1 XP!

Shortly after that, Terra turned to his arcane archmage of a partner and gave him some praise too, nodding and offering them a smile too.

"Thank you for your help, Cosh. Would have much more trouble defeating the Rock monsters without you."

Lastly, Terra would inspect each of the Gigalith to see which one was 'the strongest' (Or, if possible, use his Pokedex to determine which ones have their High XP STAB Moves), and then have Mikey use Stun Spore to Paralyze them and Solomon Confuse Them (If possible), then attempt to Capture with up to 2 Pokeballs. After seeing what they could do, he wanted to get one of those beast for future use later, if possible!

Oh...well, that probably explains where most (if not all) of Boots Malone's pokemon went, given how close this is to the Kadabra Chambers and what happened to Machamp...

If there is anything this encounter has done for Nathan, it's shown him the grim reality of what the Skull Ruins are like first hand.

...definitely a brand of 'unpleasant' he hadn't been prepared to fully face...

...in any case, he and Gallade take a moment to pay some silent respects for the trainer before taking some pictures of the scene and gathering up all the items that Mr. Malone certainly isn't going to need any time soon.  One more name for Nathan's list of missing people who have been found...though this one's going to go in a different column labeled 'confirmed deceased'...

...and once they're done there, they head back over to Marco and his pokemon.  Emolga glides over there and lands on Luxray, looking at Nathan's dad curiously and quietly.

Nathan can't be thankful enough that Machamp was the only one who apparently suffered such a fate...in this case, knowing is better than not...

Awwwwwwww Shiva's finding this black rat stealing some stars from the cover of her journal incredibly adorable (*≧ω≦*)♡, it's so cute that she almost suffers a sugar shock and faints on the spot. She also catches the page Ratsy stole blank and returned full of a design that threathens to give her headaches simply from looking at it (something like this?), the paint still being wet though prevents her effectively from embracing it in sheer admiration and appreciation. "That's lovely, smol black rodent, such a WONDERFUL drawing!! I'll keep it and treasure it, thank you!~"

Fufu, but when Ratsy makes a move to touch the blue Sylveon on the card, Shiva quickly pulls it away. "Nah, slowly, lil' one! This card... It means a lot to me, and it's been a generous gift from someone. Curious, huh?~ Come, if you show yourself fully to me, you can surely touch and even hold it for short. I've even got ANOTHER exemplar of this extraordinaire artwork with me!" It's the card that depicts Cress City and allows the party to retun there, and it will be shown to Ratsy if he emerges from the hole completely and expresses interest in these cards.

For now, Shiva would want to try covincing this rat to come with her and stay pacifistic, but she wants to prevent him from escaping back into his hole: Even if this means that she'll have to put him to sleep with Raphael's Yawn.
