[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery
Kogeki was satisfied with this battle. Upon seeing Susano'o damage he was worry. "Susano'o. You get too much damage in this battle. For now, you have to rest and get medical treatment right away. I promised to update you after everything."

Kogeki then send Susano'o to the PC and put Sneasel in the party (for now).

Let's go forward with Mynian encounter.

One detail that I forgot to mention about Sneasel, by the way: they're holding a Grip Claw.

A Grip Claw increases the duration of the effects of binding moves such as Wrap and Fire Spin from 4 to 6 Rounds.  A decently powerful effect in the right hands, though a difficult one to master the usage of.

It's a fairly common item.  A lot of wild Sneasel can be found holding them.

Karen and Kogeki follow after Minyan into Lake Acuity proper.

Oddly enough, there are no tourists today at the Lake of Knowledge.  The weather is perfectly, strangely calm as usual, even though the sheer number of Snover that can be found in nearby areas would normally suggest that there should be at least some precipitation the majority of the time.  Most of the wild pokemon are on the opposite shore, and can simply be reached by weaving through the treeline around the edge of the lake, but that's not the primary concern of the two trainers.

Minyan's looking over the lake at the cavern that's in the middle of it.  They point urgently at the cave.

Minyan, however, isn't going to wait for Karen and Kogeki.  They begin to flap their wings, and they take off a moment later!  Minyan don't often fly, but they can do so for short distances.

They land on the shore in front of the cave, urgently beckon to Karen and Kogeki, and then they disappear into the cave itself.

All that really remains is figuring out how to cross the lake to reach the cave in the middle, and then you're pretty sure you'll have reached Minyan's trainer!  Should be easy, right?

"I have a solution. Gama-no-senin! Come out!" Heart then he release his second Water-type. I don't need to tell what starter match the Ninja shenanigans, but I will let Dragonstrike do the honors.

Obviously, it's a Greninja.  A tall, primarily blue in coloration frog pokemon, with his tongue wrapped around him like a scarf, waving in the non-existent wind (how the heck does he manage to do that, anyways?!)...

Gama looks out over the lake for a moment, his arms crossed, then at Kogeki questioningly.

Well?  For what purpose is he needed this time?  There are no foes to fight right now, obviously.

Kogeki look to both Karen and then Gama. "Could you carry us with your move Surf Gama? We need to go to the other side of the lake to save a Pokemon Trainer. We need your help. Please."

Gama looks back over the lake.  He doesn't see anyone in distress on the other side.

He looks to the cave next.  He's a pretty Smart Greninja.  He can infer that the location Kogeki is referring to is the cave and not the opposite shore in this case, I think.

The frog ninja looks back at Kogeki and Karen, then nods.  Very well.

Gama can only ferry one person at a time, but it doesn't take long with the help of the Surf HM.  The cold water isn't even bothering him at all, either.  Such is the power of Surf, even when it's the mass manufactured, non-Legendary version.

When Karen and Kogeki enter the cave, they find Minyan standing off to the side at the back of the cave, near the person who's presumably their trainer.  The monocled Minyan seems a lot more standoffish now that they've finished fetching help.

@PhantomUnderYourDesk, would you like to describe what the two trainers see when they enter the cave and get their first good look at Minyan's trainer?  Your character is very much conscious, thankfully, but he is FREEZING cold after being in here for so long without proper warm clothing. His pokemon are all fine, though, as they either all have enough fur (or similar) to stay warm a little more easily than your character can, or have been staying in their nice, warm pokeballs for most of this time.

(I like the image of a monocle'd Minyan flying through a semi-hailstorm.)

As that Minyan is finally reunited with their presumably owner, the first things said person does is gently smacking the catbat on the back of their head before seamlessly continuing to scratch them behind the batlike ears. "You came back at last, that's good. Roxie would have bitten my head off with sinister glee and thrown it into the crowd if she'd be to find out that I have lost you. Ugh..." Minyan shrugs in response, shows a smug expression as if he never doubted in himself fulfilling his given task and proceeds to purr in a low tone.

The voice which formed these words was soft and melodic, and it belonged to a young man who, from the look of it, was in his mid- or late-twenties. He appeared pretty calm and indifferent despite this miserable situation, which may or may not clash with his flashy clothing style: It's completely held in black/dark grey, but is 'decorated' with vibrant and colorful accents wherever there's room, the long sleeves are rainbow-colored. It inevitably reminds on glowsticks often seen on raves.

In his lap and tightly cuddled up to him sits a not pink but blue feline Pokemon whose trademark-ribbons are slung around their beloved caretaker's arms. Sylveon unwraps one of them to give Karen and Kogeki a waving gesture, leaving some sparkles and fairy dust in the air. She does not look up or move an inch away from her position. Perched on this guy's head and comfortably nestled in between those strands of dirty-blond hair that aren't tied to a loose and long poytail, is a smol parrot-like Pokemon: Unmistakably a Chatot, they greet who came into this cave by raising one wing like this Pidove. Their metronome-like tail does not stop to wag in a highly accurate and precise interval even when sending down an occassional heatwave to their owner.

"Sooooooooo....." this weird guy adresses Karen and Kogeki eventually and looks up from his rimless glasses to face them, "You two have the hint of an idea how to GET THE HECK AWAY from here, maybe? It's damn cold, there's nothing of interest here unless you have a liking for wet caves and strange murals - *he points to one covering the back wall* - and I've been here for....eh.... Mercury, for how long?" Chatot responds with a jolly "For exactly 5 hours and 37 minutes, ping! It'll be 38 minutes on my next chirp." "┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌ There you have it. Get somewhere where it's warmer first, then ask questions?"

He already begins to gather his stuff together. "Oh, and I'm just as innocent what I'm doing here like you probably are, noble ninja and gentle heterochromia-girl. Rooms usually DON'T connect to caves and I neither was on drugs nor lacking sleep." He's emphasizing these facts more than necessary.

When the trainer points out the mural on the back wall, Karen and Kogeki immediately recognize it as that mural.

Sylveon have both feline and canine traits like all members of the eeveelutions, but Sylveon is also heavily based on a rabbit commonly associated with the moon, so it doesn't trigger Karen's phobia.

Firstly, Karen pulls out the sleeping bag that she prepared earlier and offers it to the man, the bag having a light lavender scent to it. "Here, you can use this to keep warm until we can get back to the Pokemon Center." She then turns to the mural that he points at, "...It's the same..."
