"...we...we did it...oh dear Mutios, that's one of the absolute hardest things we've had to pull off to date..."
If it's okay with everyone, could Nathan take a look at those three keys from Cofagrigus so he can examine them for a bit? Maybe he can learn a few things from looking at them in detail. ----------------------------------------------------------- Well, one of those points of Loyalty is DEFINITELY going to Charizard since it can bring a pokemon to 5 Loyalty! One step closer to unlocking his Mega Evolutions...still a long ways to go, though, given that Charizard is still sitting at 2 Happiness even after all this time... Part of that Loyalty gain is probably because Charizard's very, very glad that Nathan didn't send him out to fight that thing, even when they were fast running out of other options. The dragon may be rather gung ho about fighting tough opponents to prove he's got the strength to overcome them, but even he knows that he would have been severely outmatched and in incredible danger, probably more than anyone else in the room, if he tried to face that thing. The other point of Loyalty is going to go to Solosis. While she didn't participate in the battle, just seeing how everyone cooperated with their pokemon to fight a much bigger and more powerful foe than themselves...it's definitely inspiring for her. Though she's probably not over her skittishness entirely yet, it does further solidify for her that yes, sticking with Nathan won't be so bad after all... ------------------------------------------------------ When Kelda comes back and hands Nathan a Super Potion and a Revive, the trainer gives her a simple, "Thanks," then promptly uses the Revive on... ...who IS he going to use it on? Meowstic, Mamoswine, and Luxray are all still fainted...Gallade and Calam are as well...Doublade and Edmundi...Raphael and Yena... ...does the party even have 9+ Revives to spare right now? ...well, at the very least, they probably need to Revive his dad's pokemon...they aren't currently registered to any pokeballs, after all, and there's no way anyone is going to be carrying all of them until they wake up. Thank goodness nobody was seriously hurt at the end of all of this... When Terra Revives Luxray, that helps ease Nathan's decision a little. Ya know what, he just needs to act right now. Inaction and indecision can be dangerous things in a place like this... Nathan asks Terra (@Lord Windos), Shiva (@PhantomUnderYourDesk), and Heart (@Spiritmon) if they have some Revives to spare. If they do, he only asks for one from each so he can Revive all four of Gallade, Calam, Mamoswine, and Meowstic (spending only 1 Revive from his own supplies, making it 4 in total). Nathan also uses a Potion on Gallade and a Potion on Calam. Nathan wants to play it safe down here... ------------------------------------------ Nathan's kinda disappointed that he ended up with another Claw Fossil, to be honest. he was kinda hoping for a different fossil since he already has an Anorith, but he's certainly not going to complain at this current moment. That'd just be rude. Probably a good idea to not do or say anything that might upset Cofagrigus. He IS rather interested in taking a look at the fossil that Spira (@Mikaruge108) got, though. "Oh hey, is that a Plume Fossil? Wow, those are REALLY rare. That's a pretty lucky find, you know. Normally, you can only find Archen and Archeops fossils near the Great Divide around here." Nathan can tell Spira more about Archen and Archeops if the ghostly breeder wishes. ------------------------------------------ Nathan doesn't have a whole lot to say out loud about the next chamber. He's mostly just silently...awestruck. He takes special note of those golden statues. Glameow, Aegislash, Nidoking, Slowking, Charizard, Helioptile...they're all pokemon that Creshirean nobility favored for one reason or another, with the special exception of The King's Pokemon, Aegislash, of course. That door seems like a pretty big deal, too. Given the sheer number of keys around here, there's probably something going on with it... ...Nathan also wonders what the keys that Cofagrigus gave them might unlock...they're definitely rather...ornate and pricey looking, but keys usually have a keyhole they go to as well... In any case, Nathan doesn't have a whole lot to say right now about the current room out loud (partially because I've got a whole lot to type up already and want to get this post up sooner rather than later) ----------------------------------------------------- When Shiva asks for a Heal Pulse for Whimsicott, Gallade provides one.

The golden keys are what opened the first door - that's already happened. They're made of solid gold, hence the value. This was surely something set up by the early League or the late King. They're quite intricate and have orichalcum tips. Other than that, nothing special nor nothing that triggers Nathan's knowledge.

"Rare, huh? So I'm assuming you know something about this 'Archen'?"

Terra's reaction to Heart's mummified antics are just a raised eyebrows before he just shrugs it off and accepts it. If the rare collector was enjoying his newfound Ability and was apparently suffering no lasting harm in it, then he'd not worry about it or him too much. He's not going to be directly touching them anytime soon, though - he quite liked being unMummified, thank you very much!
While waiting for either the way forwards to be opened or for everyone to give up so he could Dig a way around the barriers, the sagely monk decides to scope out the Regal Chambers for any loose loot he could pocket later, sale, then split the Poke among everyone, so long as he does not piss off the Ghosts by doing so. Given he's a merchant's son and still have an eye for material value despite his lifestyle choices/former lack of mental acumen, I'd say he has better chance of finding something valuable than not. Also, he Revive Mamoswine when requested by Nathan/when he sees their in a bind with the rest of his dad's Fainted Pokemon, and still uses Heal Pulses on Scarmory, Luxray, and Feraligatr via Solomon.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

3 Heal Pulses bring Marco's Pokemon to -1 pain.
Terra doesn't have much Knowledge worth rolling, but he finds $6500 worth of loot that doesn't seem to bother the ghosts. This is mostly small statues.

They're typically referred to as the link between dinosaur pokemon like Rampardos and bird pokemon like Pidgeot, as they have traits of both reptilian pokemon and bird pokemon. Archen are completely unable to fly, though, and Archeops aren't very good at it even though they can fly. They're also very powerful predators, but they have rather Defeatist attitudes when things start to go badly for them. The fossils are most common in Unova, along with fossils of Tirtouga and Carracosta. I've got a few pictures I've drawn in my journal." Nathan's definitely more than happy to show said pictures to Spira. He'd also say more on the topic, but now isn't exactly the time or place for a long lecture.
