- Gallade and Calam both took 1 PDD and are currently fainted. (0/9 and 0/8)
- I could maybe increase Nathan's Vitality to 5 to possibly remedy that latter part, though...
- Everyone else in Nathan's party of 6 is unharmed.
- No Potions have been used on his pokemon yet. Just 1 Revive on Gallade and Calam.
- Getting Gallade back up would likely be especially helpful since he's a Heal Pulse user.
NPCs
Marco
- All took 1 PDD.
- Feraligatr and Skarmory are barely conscious.
- Luxray, Meowstic, and Mamoswine are all fainted. Reviving them is also practically required since they aren't registered to any pokeballs and will probably have to remain that way until Marco is able to manage them himself.
- Marco himself is fine even despite all that chaos, thankfully...(at least, I didn't see him listed at all in the damage totals)
- No Potions have been used on them either, just 1 Revive on Feraligatr.
Scims
- All took a decent amount of damage.
- Gendry and Elya's gauntlets kersploded, so they may not be very useful in the foreseeable future.
- They've got their own supply of healing items.
Hmm....alright, I can have Terra spare his recently obtained Revive for Gallade, and have Solomon use HP on Feraligatr, Skarmory, and Luxray (Once they are Revived themselves), as they don't have Marco supplying them with Medicine and the like. Gallade can heal whomever else he wants, though I imagine he'll prioritize the rest of Marco's Pokemon too once they are revived. Gustav and Ditto probably should focus on healing everyone else that got hurt after having a Potion applied to them. After all, DMG's fight only counts as the group's second Encounter of the day, unless it was so exhausting that it counts as 2 Encounters in one.
Nah just one.

It's possible to clone or partially clone Pokemon from any DNA, but for the usual route (like Professor Laurelin's tech), you need a Fossil. Which none of these body parts qualify for. So yeah you'd need some Plot Device, but it's known to be possible.
Marc would pretty much always be dropped back before a battle starts.
Scimitar Gauntlets slowly heal their wearers over time, and they have enough medicines for the ones whose Gauntlets kersploded.
Genesect's stats:
7 Dex, 8 in everything else, except a much lower Insight.
Could be affected by emotion or responsive moves, if justified
Had 12 dice for each of 5 actions. 3 dice were removed whenever a weapon was destroyed. Always gets at least 1 dice.
Can't be scared off until all four weapons and drones were gone. Drones had 15hp and were treated mostly as their own Pokemon with very high stats. Actually I think I forgot to do a drone's action in Action 1, Round 2, didn't I.
Ability was Super Luck, representing the critically sharp nature of those scythes. Critical hits deal Plot Device damage, normal hits do not - but it only takes 3 or 4 successes to achieve that, out of 12 dice, so it's rather common. You would normally have figured this out before Round 2 after your initial team was wreeeeecked.
Genesect did have a hit point pool, but is immune to pain penalizations and you don't even wanna know how many HP. I estimated you'd all have gotten 4 team members KO'd before you drained his HP the old fashioned way, and if he ever chewed through all your defenders at once, he'd be moving on to trainers. Skull Ruins fights are definitely lethal, especially legendary ones.
Hope that felt like a boss battle, Shiva! I'm glad you were able to deal damage and contribute in Round 2.
Sweet! That means Terra has access to a pretty good way of scaring the bejesus out of anything with Oinari's Illusion, as I imagine seeing a Legendary Pokemon stare you down aggressively would make you consider twice facing off against someone who owns them.
Hmm....could the Obsideon Crescent be Fossilized using Heart's Earthpower in conjunction with Nathan's Adamant Sphere, or could Terra make a journey to that eremit and get their assistance in reviving DMG? The old 'man' did have a Kabutops with him, and their is his connection with the earth/Earthpower, so he could enable non-standard Revival should he be bargained with.
EDIT: Could Ancient Power also be used to fossilize something, if a Pokemon can learn how to use it that way?
Woof, that's one mean Genesect you designed! About as nasty as some of my own Boss Encounters I've cooked up, but much more practical to beat! Nice job! Now I'm curious as to what the 'stats' were for Seika and MEWRAL too...

Those two were much more pure Plot Device. Mew had the weakness of the puzzle being his source. Seikamater's weaknesses you know already - HM moves, rocky terrain, that kind of thing, all of which you took advantage of.

Yes it did!! o(≧▽≦)o Tthat's the kind of dramatic battle where our charas are asked to surpass themselves that I enjoy. It was super-costy, a ton of Pokemon on our side fainted and it probably took almost ages to roll all these actions out, BUT the loot, XP-reward and gratification to finally having made it is totally worth it.
Now for questions!!:
1. Having run out of moves I want to teach to Whimsi via level-up, how many XP does it cost to give the fluffball +1 dice of damage on Hurricane like Marco's Mewostic has on Sucker Punch? This does NOT translate to 'make Whimsicott have Flying as a third Type' (is an additional Type even possible as a suprise??), I just wish for that additional dice on Hurricane to gain pseudo-STAB.
2. Yena, being Shiva's special and unique butterwolfly, will indeed be upgraded to feat. 5 points in Loyality. I kinda wish to give the other free point to Raphael to bring the archangel to 3 Happiness and 5 Loyality - to Shiva, that is. I'm unsure however because with MAXIMUM loyality to her, he might not want to return to Ventus and stick with me instead. Is this a valid concern, what would you say, Iron? And what are your thoughts on that @ Lord Windos, would Ven agree to let Raphael in Shiva'a care if the angel himself desires so?
3. How much would it cost to give +1 dice of damage on Yena's moves that consist of biting the foe, at the moment Crunch and Bite (Poison Fang in the future via a Tutor's help)? To compare, how much is adding +1 autopoint of damage on these moves instead? The doggo's now at 51XP, plenty to play around with.
4. Fainted Pokemon do auto-recover 1HP by sleeping safely for 8 hours, do they? I'm on the train where I can't check my notes comfortably.

I'm planning to bring out Solomon to go on Heal Pulsing Duty, so knowing which 'mon is hurt the most/ the ones that already got Potions would be helpful for who needs the HPs the most.(...)
Let's see:
- Raphael and Yena are fainted unfortunately, none of them received a Potion this in-game Day yet. I'm thinking about revivig one of them, depending how the scene progresses.
- Azu is at 7/9HP and received one Potion, she should be fine as she is.
- Whimsicott's at 5/8HP and received no Potion yet due to our charas flinching, I'd appreciate if someone would healpulse her as she's one of main attackers.

That'd be mean, even the spectral coffin does decide to stick with Heart, the loot within the Fossil Garden is still theirs. :C

.....Ven's relationship with Raphael is complicated, mainly due to the fact that Raphael once rejected a choice of his father's (You know the one) that sort of put them on uneven ground ever since then. Ven loves his little archangel like no other, but at the same time he's afraid of getting too close to them, as he doesn't want to face them rejecting him again because a moral disagreement. He's also not too keen/has faith in being 'changed'/'reformed' , which he picked up was a hidden wish of his baby for him to do a long time ago, which just puts him at more odds/discomfort with his child. There's a reason why he never fully bonded with them his first Pokemon, but yet did so with Apsis: he more or less sympathizes, understands, and connects better with his wild, carnivorous, and rather dominating/smotherly Arbok, and never once worried about his precious snek doubting him. Kinda funny, how my chara's main ace was a Bulky Poison type, which ended up reflecting who he became rather than who I intended. I believe Dragonstrike commented about this too a long time ago, but I also believe they were a bit more melancholy about how things turned out....
Because of that, and the fact that he also care deeply and DEARLY about Shiva and is looking forward to becoming a truly worthy partner to her, I'd say that he wouldn't mind if Raphael switched their Loyalties to mainly his girlfriend. They'll always share a special bond with their child, but he would understand and even be happy if they were with someone that can bond with them fully and without inhibition, and what better person than his own fae lady, rather than stuck in an awkward relationship with him. Heck, he even promised he'd give them away if things ended up not working out between them, so it's not like this scenario was not considered by him a loooong time ago. So yeah, Ven wouldn't mind Raphael becoming Shiva's archangel, instead of his own!
OOC, I don't really mind either. I sorta.....stopped really investing much effort or passion into Raphael beyond keeping them Loyal to Ven after they took a MAJOR hit to their Loyalty because of that, and its been so long I've played with him that what little attachment I had with them has faded. Why get too close and develop a relationship with a Pokemon, when it had shown definitive signs that wouldn't guard against them rejecting Ven? The fact that they were more or less 'complete' after Evolving disincentivised me even more in paying attention to them compared to Ven's other Pokemon, as again, why try to improve upon something that pretty much A) Already Great, yet B) Unreliable ? I also didn't want me/Ven 'controlled' by Raphael, so it was all the more reason to sideline and be ready to ditch them should they exert undue influence.
In the end, perhaps the greatest mistake I mad with Raphael is not trading it away ASAP to either Shiva or some random in Cheshire after that, as just keeping them around didn't really do anything for me or Ventus, besides making things more awkward and uncomfortable to deal with. Had I done that and gotten something good for them (Or at least ensured they'd be happy/well cared for with Shiva), the both of us could've stopped worrying about the archangel and been more productive/having fun in the ways we wanted. Not a very flattering admission, no doubt, but it's what I feel is the truth, now that I look back at things wide jade coloured glasses, instead of ones with a rosier tint.
----
Eh, that Cofagrigus can't really use or keep his loot if he goes with Heart unless said human and his friends takes it with them, so unless they're willing to abandon all their wealth and leave it to rot.......

Pseudo Stab's not bad for just one move. 15XP.
A Pokemon can have complete loyalty to more than one person. If you two decide out of character to make that a shift, a bit of character development, that's fine with me!
What you're asking for with Yena is exactly the ability Strong Jaw. Having two abilities at once should probably be around 50XP, although that isn't the most amazing ability so we could make it a bit cheaper.

Which Fossil did Terra get again? Kind of hard to tell at first glance, but I think his is the Dome Fossil? Would his high Nature/Survival have an impact on finding a fossil in better qualities/condition/rarity?

I did promise that you and Shiva would get bonus stuff when you did any hunting.
Terra finds a great big footprint of Tyrantrum with moss growing in it.
Shiva finds a big piece of petrified wood, great for crafting.
I didn't have an order in mind, and maybe I should have, but to avoid disagreements about who gets what fossil we'll just go in alphabetical order.
Heart
Nathan
Shiva
Spira
Terra
Scimitars don't care about fossils

Neat find! Shame that Terra doesn't have anything to cast something in the Tyrantrum foot print, but he's pretty happy to find it!
That means Terra got a Helix Fossil! That means its time to:
