[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
(I'll just post this comment from teh Meta Thread to state what Terra does, along with any reactionary comments I'll edit in later.)

Terra wouldn't do a Third Encounter himself, as he's tired out from exerting his Will on DMG through Oinari and would impression a nice long and relaxing (relatively speaking) evening.

Will state now that Terra' ready to move onwards whenever, and is currently hovering over Shiva protectively while giving the Ghosts they wary eyes. He also suggests to the group that instead of fiddling with the door the group could just backtrack a bit to the Fossil Garden and then from there Dig around the Door to get to the next destination.

Additionally, he reminds everyone about Marco's.....condition along with Heart at their behest, and ask if they should work to undo the curse tonight or next morning.

...but on the other hand, he totally understands that they all just took a massive beating, and that taking a break while they have the chance to do so might be for the best.

He's not about to sit around and do nothing, though.

---------------------------------------------

Gonna keep this simple since I'm currently experiencing some rather heavy writer's block right now.  Nathan will do a training session for his third encounter.  Solosis, Emolga, and Snivy.

----------------------------------------------

And yeah, Nathan would remind Heart about breaking the curse on his dad as well.

2XP each.

Day 79:
Spira will spend his 3rd encounter working on maxing (currently 4/5) Noire's happiness out.
------------------------------

Day 80:

Once the door is open, Spira is intrigued by the otherworldly song, trying to listen closer to it. Anything in particular that he might be able to pick up on from it?

It is now Day 80.

Shiva's on the right track. Inserting enough keys to fill that ankh shape flung the door wide! All the Yamask start making a weird wailing song bidding you farewell. Below you hear the bubbling of an immense amount of water! And that otherworldly "song" from below has not ceased, the whole rest through.

The sound of roiling water fills Terra with yet more nostalgic feelings, as it has been so long since he's heard such turbulent currents and face with the prospect of braving them. However, the music' drifting up from the Well does put him on edge enough to snap him out of his reverie, causing his eyes to narrow at the open way forward before stalking forward and taking the lead, his beloved Angie floating above and not far behind him. Both sagely monk and angelic dragon were on high Alert for any terrible or arcane threats that may or may not be lurking ahead, as after Encountering DMG they were expecting the worst of EVERYTHING to start crawling out of the stoneworks to try and doom him and his friends. If something was going to try and ruin the group, they'd have to go through them FIRST.

Shiva doesn't do a Third Encounter, she uses the time for some calm activities instead like feeding and grooming her Pokemon to pamper them after that exhausting fight. Ah, and checking the Sylveon Card for signs of Ratsy still being...'inside the card and with the Fae-Eeveelution', so to speak.

Hah! Somehow she had a good feeling that an ankh would work, she thanks and bows to the Yamask to return their goodbye.

Humm, that song's probably the source of that immense and hypnotic calmness, isn't it? Shiva would be suprised if it is not. She turns towards Cosh with an inquirering look: "Cosh, where do we have to head now according to you and your card? I'd....really really would like to visit this strange well, but if it doesn't lead us further towards the first Artifact, I prefer to restrain from that." Her adult thinking nicely kicked in this case.

You spend that time showing Noire some different things ghosts might like. In the Skull Ruins, those are everywhere!

You find a novel kind of doll for Noire - a metal paddle doll, decorated like a queen from the time of Sarimanok. This item can be possessed by Noire to add the Steel type to him temporarily (held item), or it can be consumed to max out his happiness.

Ratsy's shadow is still there. Do you do anything else with the card?

Cosh: "The Wishing Well represents the boundary between the two layers. The Sword must be hidden very nearby. In fact..."

Through the door above, four more Scimitars come rappelling. "I've requested some reinforcements to replace Elya and Gendry. As per our deal, which of the Artifacts will you start carrying? If you take the Sword, we shall take the next one. Or we could take the Sword, and you the next one."

Unfortunately, Nathan needs to burst Cosh's bubble on this one.

"The Sword isn't here.  Not based on what we've heard. Let's save the decision for when we know what the Artifact the Ghosts hid is."

When asked, the rugged wanderer thinks it over for a moment, before saying "Me and my group will wield The Sword *Hears Nathan* .....if Artifact is.....beyond doors somewhere near.. If we find next Artifact more desirable to us, though, can we trade for it with The Sword?"

He's also more or less fine with his wily wizard partner calling in reinforcements from his rank and file, as not only was that completely logical with the 'lose' of his two Scimitars, but more people to deal with the horrors of the Skull Ruins was ALWAYS a good things. Especially now that they had faced one of the dead place's worst inhabitants....

Terra does have one concern to voice, though.

"Cosh, why call in four of your Scimitars? Only.....'lost' two. That breaks our agreement, unless you.....mean for my friends to choice 2 of them from that number?"

"These four aren't quite as experienced as Elya and Gendry, and the dangers of the Ruins are greater than we could have ever imagined. I mean, a Genesect? I'm fine with your group taking the first Artifact we find, whatever it is, and we shall take the second."
