[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
You know, I just had a funny thought: Battling a plain trainer with Arete and Oinari Illusioned as DMG, and claiming/implying he caught them as a father/son pair. Wouldn't that turn a few heads and possibly terrify the competition, hehehe!

So.....would Nathan actually want to investigate Arete later himself, or is he going to leave that entirely to Terra and Ventus (As there is no way Terra could keep THAT a secret from his boss)? Moreover, how much does anyone want to deal with the baby Legend or interact with it? While they're more or less completely docile/not going to murder anything with their Loyalty utterly ensured by Mega Syrentide, since Arete is such a heavily Plot Device Pokemon, any interactions with them may be subject to Iron introducing some sort surprise to spice things up....

To say that Nathan wouldn't be interested in observing first hand some of a real life Genesect's behavior in a controlled environment would be a lie.  The extent that he'll interact with them is to be determined, though.

Besides, Nathan's kinda deeply involved in all matters Genesect at this point anyways, given the information he knows of both ancient Genesect and the modern day Team Plasma one. Nathan's in a pretty dangerous position already as it is.

I wish to, I'd like to get to know them a little please! I'll type something that Shiva would say to Terra up later, can't do so comfortably just now.

BTW, if Nathan seems a little more...subdued or distant than usual, there's a few reasons for that, and it's not just because I've been busier OOC lately.

....You know, I just thought of something about Arete: they're mere existence would basically prompt Ventus to actively engage with the group/his friends one he finds out about it, regardless of the state of his mental health/mire of reservations. He'd probably want to coordinate closely with Nathan about any research involving them, and naturally he'd want Shiva in on the case too due to her Empathy and understanding/skillful care with Pokemon helping with making sure the baby Legend is raised right and improving the research process (Due to her Empathy making gathering data on it MUCH easier). Whether or not that's a good thing.......that's a whole other issue.

With all that in mind, I have a question for Iron: could Terra and/or Nathan get into contact with Ventus right now?

Also, this little bit of Insight I've had on Iron's Genesects: Technically, the entire Legendary species revived from Fossils/Reminants of others is a Delta Pokemon, due to how their creation and modification radically changes their Typing from the original's natural design. That probably makes them especially interesting in Pokemon Researcher and Breeders (Good luck with trying to Breed a Legend, though! Not even a Ditto could pull that off, and if they can't, nothing can!) .....

First of all: Congratulations in getting your own Legendary Pokemon Windos! After everything you pass with Ventus and Terra you deserve such reward!

Now, about those treasure thing @Iron :Is that Syrentide could grant me let me take one Female Selkid to join Heart, or find a Water Tandor Pokemon like Electrux or Shrimpumty?

Or at least a Shell Bell?

Well, I can definitely say that isn't happening until after we get out of the Ruins at the very least.

Would these moves be acceptable/correct?
-Bind (Toya): 1 energy
-Leer (Toya): 1 energy
-Amnesia (Luna): 2 energy
-Psybeam (Nubi): 3 energy
-Screech (Noire): 2 energy
-Astonish (Luna &/or Nubi): 4 energy (8 energy for both instances)
-Growl (Nubi): 1 energy
-Total (If I'm correct): 18 energy
(Phantom, I'll get Spira's side of things up as soon as these moves are confirmed by Iron)

Am I correct in assuming Ember (Hida) has already been spent?
Just curious, how much would Psywave be worth; its current power for that trainer (In Spira's case, 4), or nothing, and could a Pokemon's current exp be converted into energy? (maybe something like 10xp for 1 energy?)

And on an unrelated note, just cuz Leigh and Spira weren't allowed to date doesn't mean that they weren't dating...

(I haven't thought about that either until now) Actually not unless someone would point that out to her (don't). She's better off to be left in her innocent belief that it's just a young and modified Genesect.

At this point, Genesect is honestly a grey area when it comes to whether it can be considered a Delta.  The only natural type it has is Bug.  Secondary types are always additional, depending on what modifications it has.  In a way, ALL Genesect are technically Deltas of some variety.  But if no Genesect has a set typing, then can they actually be called as such in the first place?

Nathan's been refining his opinions and definitions on the matter since he's been reading up on the species in detail.  Not that I think Shiva would ever ask Nathan about it...

It doesn't change anything regarding his views/definitions of Deltas of other species, though.  Just Genesect.
