Hah, Octavia's really enjoying these claws, they are turning out highly useful no matter the situation or terrain. She's ready to chaaaaaaarge into the foe while leaving a sparkling trail behind her, even if this is is no mean dragon! Seeing her so wild and angry when she's actually oh-so-lovely and affectionate is having quite the unique charm on it's own; at least in Kee's view who has raised her since she has hatched from that one Egg as a smol and precious cinnamon roll with a silverly coat.
"Show 'em why you're not afraid of poison, my dear. Keep yourself mindful and alerted, adapt to your foe's actions and tackle them efficiently. You Mercury....." Kee takes a moment to pull headphones from his stuff and put them on because it's going to be loud, "Turn it up."
---------------------------------------------------
Accuracy Roll Octavia's Psyshock 1 on Toxicroak: 3 Dext + 4 Fight + 3 Channel - 2 Actions = 8d6
Damage Roll: 4 Special + 3 power of the move, no STAB = 7d6 +2 autodamage due to double-SE
Additional notes: Deals real physical damage (uses Toxicroak's Defense Stat) and slams them against the nearest wall.
The rest of her actions strongly depend on what the foes are doing. - Shall either Golbat or Toxicroak use Nasty Plot, she'll tackle that with Psych Up to copy the boost. Base Dice pool is 4 Insight + 4 Fight + 3 Channel.
- Shall she be targeted by a Poison Type move, which is highly to be expected due to our opponent's neither being sober nor looking to be a tactician, make it clash with pixilated Swift. Base Dice Pool is 4 Special + 4 Fight + 1 Clash.
- Shall either she or Mercury be poisoned, she'll cure that via a Heal Bell. Base Dice Pool is 4 Special + 4 Contest + 3 Perform = 11d6.
- Shall neither of the above apply, she'll lend a Helping Hand to her ally. +5 Priority and 3 Dext + 4 Contest + 3 Perform = 10d6, grants +2 dice on Accu and Damage Roll of Mercury's next Action.
Mercury... Well, he's just continues to count down that minute as heavy as his syrinx can handle!! It'd suprise Kee if the barkeeper wouldn't at least partially pick up on that while he himself is semi-calmly observing the Diamond Dust ('What the heck IS this?? Never seen something similar') and waiting for what comes first, the cops or he defeating his opponent.
Accuracy Roll Echoed Voice 1 on Toxicroak: 3 Dext + 4 Fight + 3 Channel - 2 Actions = 8d6
Damage Roll: 4 Special + 2 power of the move + STAB = 7d6
Accuracy Roll Echoed Voice 2 on Toxicroak: 3 Dext + 4 Fight + 3 Channel - 4 Actions = 6d6
Damage Roll: 4 Special + 2 power of the move + STAB + 1 returning echo + held Metronome = 9d6
Accuracy Roll Echoed Voice 3 on Toxicroak: 3 Dext + 4 Fight + 3 Channel - 6 Actions = 4d6
Damage Roll: 4 Special + 2 power of the move + STAB + 2 returning echo + held Metronome = 10d6
Additional notes: Soundbased. His Keen Eye Ability prevents any loss of accuracy, including from pain. Switch to Golbat as soon as Toxicroak's defeated.

Karen lets Shellos evolve
The evolutionary light continues to get brighter and brighter...
...and then it takes on a...darker, black color for a brief moment. The rocks left behind in Ancient Power's wake crackle with that same dark energy simultaneously. But the bright light of evolution is more prominent, and once again shines through the darkness after mere moments as the dark energy fades away.
After what feels like an eternity of waiting...the pokemon that stands before everyone is no longer Shellos.
![[Image: 220px-Paul_Gastrodon.png]](https://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/thumb/9/9d/Paul_Gastrodon.png/220px-Paul_Gastrodon.png)
Congratulations! Shellos has evolved into Gastrodon! 2/7 HP -2 Pain
Gastrodon's Hidden Power increases to 2 Base Power and now increases Defense and Special Defense by 2 when used!
Gastrodon learns Sludge and gets Poison as a third type!
Wait, what? What just happened? Something's not quite right here...should a Gastrodon be oozing that much purple liquid?
Gastrodon is leaving quite the mess on the battlefield, getting that purple liquid everywhere.
Gastrodon's Hidden Power can now be triggered when he's either:
a) Hit by a contact move
b) Experiencing -2 or more Pain
Well, this is certainly an interesting/weird development... Karen debates whether or not she wants to pat Gastrodon in congratulation, and decides against it, she don't wanna know if that goop stains. "I think you could use a nickname about now, how does.... *hmmm*.... Aspid sound?"

Roughneck Jeremy Round 1
Octavia's ready and raring to go! She focuses reeeeeeaaaaaaalllllly hard for a moment...
...and then hardened spheres of Psychic energy slam into the frog pokemon!
Psyshock 1
(6)(1)(4)(5)(6)(3)(3)(2)
Toxicroak has 3 Defense and Special Defense
(3)(2)(4) Toxicroak takes 3 damage! 5/8 HP -1 Pain
Reeling from that hit, Toxicroak lunges forwards to hit that pretty in pink bunny pokemon!
Poison Jab 1 (as Octavia already used her action for Turn 1, she cannot Clash it)
3 Dex + 3 Fight + 3 Brawl - 2 - 1 = 6 D6
(5)(4)(4)(3)(2)(1)
3 Str + 3 Pow + STAB - 3 = 4 D6 + 1
(6)(3)(2)(2) Octavia takes 2 damage 5/7 HP -1 Pain
(4)(5)(2)
Golbat does indeed start scheming!
Nasty Plot 1
3 Smart + 3 Survival + 3 Alert - 2 = 7 D6
(5)(3)(1)(6)(1)(4)(2)
+2 Special for Golbat!
Noisenoisenoisenoisenoise!
Echoed Voice 1
(1)(1)(1)(4)(6)(6)(5)(4) Well, it was almost a crit, but Mercury's entrance was apparently enough warning for the frog that things were about to get LOUD.
(6)(2)(2)(2) Toxicroak takes 1 damage 4/8 HP -2 Pain
Octavia's turn, and she considers carefully what she's going to do...oh yeah, that scheming looks like it'll be fun! Let's copy it!
Psych Up 2
11 - 4 - 1 = 6
(4)(1)(2)(2)(3)(2)
+2 Special for Octavia!
Toxicroak's turn again! He spews toxic liquids all over Octavia! (again, she can't Clash it because she's already taken her action for turn 2)
Venoshock 2
3 + 3 + 2 - 4 - 2 = 2 D6
(1)(4)
3 + 2 + STAB - 3 = 3 D6 + 1
(1)(4)(4) Octavia takes 3 damage! 2/7 HP -2 Pain
Golbat is making use of his buff, attempting to attack the enemy Flying type and knock them out of the sky! They're gonna be trouble if he doesn't!
Air Slash 2
3 + 3 + 3 - 4 = 5 D6
(4)(3)(2)(2)(2)
5* + 3 + STAB - 3 = 6 D6
(6)(3)(4)(3)(3)(1) Mercury takes 2 damage! 5/7 HP -1 Pain
(4)(5)(3)
Noisenoisenoisenoisenoise!
Echoed Voice 2
(1)(2)(5)(3)(3)(3)
(5)(5)(1)(5)(6)(4) Toxicroak takes 5 damage and faints!
Octavia, seeing how well her birdy friend is doing, cheers him on!
Helping Hand 3
10 - 2 - 6 = 2 D6
(5)(3) +2 D6 for Mercury!
Golbat goes first, though! And because they're all by themselves, they're fighting dirty!
Air Cutter 3
9 - 6 = 3
(4)(1)(1) But they're too cross eyed from who knows what to aim it properly, so they fire it above the heads of Kee's pokemon instead of at them.
Meanwhile...
Noisenoisenoisenoisenoise!
Echoed Voice 3
(6)(5)(4)(5)(4)(2) Yup, it's getting loud all right! Critical hit! People are definitely starting to notice this battle!
(6)(4)(3)(2)(3)(6)(6)(6)(3)(1)(4) Golbat takes 6 damage! 2/8 HP -2 Pain
Even Roughneck Jeremy's ears are ringing from that. "...what the...why you...you little...I'm gonna make you pay for that!!!"
He tosses another pokeball to replace Toxicroak, and out comes an...
*hiiiiissssssssss*
Does Kee switch anyone out?

Gastrodon quite likes the sound of that nickname! Aspid it is!
Teacher Jolene steps carefully over the goop and walks over to Karen. "...well, that wasn't how I expected that lesson to end, but all's well that ends well, I suppose. I'd probably keep an eye out for any strange behavior from that Gastrodon of yours if I were you, though...something didn't look quite right about that evolution...maybe that's me just being paranoid, though. In any case, here, for your assistance."
Karen gets $1500. She, Lotus, and Gastrodon also get 5 exp each.
"Again, thank you for your help, young lady. I have a feeling there isn't much we can teach you here, but feel free to stop by again if you're ever around!"

Hahahaha, that's super-fun! And Kee's guess was right, his foe doesn't appear to be the brightest crayon in the box, as if he was, he'd make sure that his blue faeeveelution is poisoned before venoshocking her. Everyone that handles Poison Types (should) know this!~
Kee's completely unimpressed and unfaced by all the chaos and noise and curious glances from passersby, he only once looks up from the screen of his portable music player to answer his foe in a singsang-voice: "Whatta ya say? I can't hear yoooouuuu, sorry!" Then he proceeds to search for that one track he was currently looking for in the huge playlist.
As Octavia returns that sharp hissing from the purple snake though, he DOES start to pay more attention, even puts the headphones off for a moment. "Ohhhhh, a cobra. Well, enough noise for now Mercury, don't want you to be swallowed by the snake. You can stay out, my dear." From the tossed Ultra Ball a small creme- and purple-colored Pokemon manifests, Paraudio yawns heartily and then only fully notices the foe: Huh, huge snake and bat, we better pay a bit of attention to not be eaten alive.
Mechanics:
Octavia stays out, Core is switched in for Mercury. Once an ally in a Double Battle is fainted, they can't be replaced until the end of the Round, correct?

Yup, no replacements until the end of the Round.

With that done, Karen goes back to the Pokemon Center and heals up.

(Haha, unlucky Arbok) Humm, that snake must be too distracted by that blue Sylveon over and over waving her ribbons and filling the air close-by with shimmering sparkles and delicate fairy dust if even his lazy and lax Paraudio gets to act before them. Maybe Fortuna starts to make up for all the misery now! ^0^
Not even at the sight of that Arbok though Octavia flinches (maybe a bit if it has Intimidate Ability though). "Come on, end the bat's pathetic struggle, do it fast and painless. And then...." A beckoning hand gesture is all that is needed for her to understand. She readies her power for one spectacular final blow!
Accuracy Roll Octavia's Psyshock on Golbat: 3 Dext + 4 Fight + 3 Channel - 2 Pain + 2 Single Action = 10d6
Damage Roll: 6*Special + 3 power of the move, no STAB = 9d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Deals real physical damage = uses Defense Stat. If the bat survives, evades or clashes that, they're really good.
Then, she quickly escapes the battliefield and leaps up to place herself on her lovely caretaker's shoulder where she begins to purr, nuzzle and wrap her ribbons around him. Kee returns some of that displayed affection. "Good girl, rest a bit for now. Don't want you to faint once more today."
This means it's Paraudio vs Arbok for the rest of the Round. If the former wouldn't be so carefree, he might have been scared or impressed by that cobra, but he just eyes them semi-uninterested. "Core, don't even start to underestimate that snake just because you're faster. Weaken 'em before blasting them with your psychic power, if you like you can also try to roast her - but avoid the fangs if you can."
Accuracy Roll Metal Sound 1: 4 Smart + 4 Fight + 3 Channel - 2 Actions = 9d6
Effect: Reduces Arbok's Sp.Defense by 2.
Secondary Effect: MOAR NOISE.
Accuracy Roll Psychic 2: 3 Dext + 4 Fight + 3 Channel - 4 Actions = 6d6
Damage Roll: 4 Special + 3 power of the move + STAB = 8d6 + 1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Has 1 CD to lower SP.Defense by 1, which is semi-pointless due to Metal Sound though.
Conditional:
Arbok may try to attack with Bite or Crunch, in that case we'll show them that this behavious is not accepted by clashing it with a Flamethrower (4 Special + 4 Fight + 1 Clash = 9d6) The aim of this Round is to do this while still pulling of a MetalSound-Psychic-Combo. Shall Arbok not attack with a Dark Type move, use Flamethrower as a third Action (4d6 in Accuracy and 7 in Damage, 1CD to inflict a Lv.2 Burn)

The exception is diamonds for Diam, as that's not a typical foodstuff. You'll have to go to a jewelry store or similar for that, and diamonds can get to be quite pricey depending on what kind ya get.
(Sorry being so late to reply, but I didn't want to stress you out more with you so busy IRL right now!)
Alright, then Ran buy 7 Units of Gourmet Food for his Pokemon! Zorn and Stymph gets hearty meat flavored GF (As I believe Skarmory are clearly birds of prey, but correct me if I am wrong), Brigid gets GF that has a smoky/charred flavor, Beethoven gets tropical fruit flavors, and Puck gets a rich and sweet flavor GF. His 'mystery Pokemon' will get a flavored GF that matches their preferences, which will be save for them for later.
Diam's food, on the other hand, he'll try to get it by visiting jewelry stores, and asking if he could buy their Diamond chips/fragments that are removed during the cutting/fitting process, getting enough that would constitute as a Unit equivilant to 1 Unit of Gourmet Food. Should be a much cheaper purchase than trying to buy big diamond, and the wee anklebitter wouldn't care too much the state her meal was in, so long as it was tasty, crunchy gemstones, we he he!
He'd treat his main team of 6 to their celebratory meals at the Pokemon Center while waiting for his partners to return, either feeding them in the lobby or private room (If the Nurse disapproves). What would be their reactions to their special treats (Especially Zorn's)?
I'm also wondering if feeding diamonds and other precious gemstone to Diam would give her some sort of bonus? Would make a little sense, since they are supernatural gemstone eaters, but if not, okay!
