Shiva, guarded by Terra, is gazing down into one of the chasms while Posei and Arete and Gustav explore the water. It follows the line of the giant red tube, making it easy to clamber down into darkness.

You find yourself presumably beneath the central island. You feel the rush of air coming from five different directions, passages leading out toward the ring of shipwrecks. All this is felt and not seen, because it is pitch black here and neither the fire of Pokemon or the technology of a flashlight can pierce it.

The two of you feel your way to the walls. They turn out to be glassy and thick, but with a cobbled feel to them. Your sense of touch informs you that the walls must be almost entirely glass, with a bit of metal here and there. One area is perfectly ringed with the metal, giving you the clue - the walls are made from the windshields and portholes of a thousand ships.

From the north you still hear that scuttling.

To the south where Gustav, Posei, and Arete went, you hear tapping on the glass below you.

It only took a brief exploration of the Slowpoke Well's 'Underground' and the limited observations he could make before Terra started comparing the place to ones like in a nautical based horror movie. 

Such comparision didn't comfort the rugged wanderer in the least. Not one single iota of bit, to be more specific. 

To put it more bluntly, he was unnerved and put totally on guard by the scenario Shiva had lead him into with her investigations. By this point he wished that he'd instead stopped her and requested she wait until everyone else agreed to accompany them down here, as the prospect of continuing to search in utter pitch blackness with who know what going bump and jump in it was a thoroughly unwholesome thought indeed. There's a good reason many people fear the dark, after all - or rather, what unknown forces lurk within it....

In order to assuage himself slightly of his worries/anxiousness, Terra decided to summon Oinari and Mikey, asking the former to quietly and carefully scout ahead and the later to bring up the rear and be ready to unleash a copious amount of Spores if something decided to get a jump on them. Between his Dark darling's.....well, natural Dark typing and keen sense of smell/hearing, and Mikey's finely honed Fighting and Survival sense he's been trained in under himself and his former master, the both of them should be able to provide adequate information and protection to him and his mystical lass of a charge.

Or so he hopes. Like, REALLY hopes.

As the Volcanion finally hit a target incapable of Evasion, Spira starts dropping like a stone. You have only a second to react - what would you do?

Some ideas you could try:
-Athletics check to make a dive
-Call out for another character to try to help in time

Heart still could see Quetzal in pain after such battle. But then he see his friend Spira falling. "Spira! Quetzal, we must help him! Right away!" Then Quetzal go in super higher speed in the direction of Spira, to try save him.

Similarly, Toya was down there punching things, but he does Ghost World travel up to Spira just in time to help Raphael, who has appeared in a flash of Pokeball light just moments before hitting the ground. Raphael slows you down, but you're still traveling at very high speed.

You take 1 dmg as your knees scrape roughly on the rocky shore near where Shiva and Terra are heading in the flashforward. Raphael is fine, though. In fact, he's crowing with +1 happiness at the chance to save a life so dramatically.

(Waitwaitwait.... Does that mean that simply by gazing down one of these chasms Shiva and Terra got 'teleported' beneath the central island into the hull of a sunken ship? :o That's rad.)


Shiva is incredibly startled by that sudden chance of surrounding, it felt like within a moment she has been transported to another place. It reminded her a lot on an out-of-body-experience, she found herself gazing around in ecstasy to see whether she can spot her physical self nearby. Unfortunately only pitchblack darkness greeted her, increasing her fear over what the heck has just happened. Is that yet another case where Shiva's curiosity has led her into a tricky and potentially dangerous situation?! 'Please no....' she thinks to herself as she starts to feel guilty and bad for this, especially after Spira has efficiently told her off for her actions in the area of her Shiny Sylveon Card.

She does make her way to the wall and almost desperately seeks for Terra as he was just beside her, and presumably finds him somehow - lucky, now she'll make sure that she does not looses contact to him once as doing so in this area could end up badly, VERY badly. "My, thank heavens you are here, Terra.... Here in this.... I don't even know what this is.", Shiva calmly speaks to him as she mindfully wraps one arms around his, not caring about his affinity with Steel now. "I don't like this place", she also adds very timidly. Raising her voice, she calls out for the others of the group, even for the Scimitars - is there ANY hint of response? Probably not, but she still finds herself hoping and waiting for one.

This scuttling noise from the north freaks her out and scares her, while this tapping to the south catches her interest. "Come on, Terra... Let's TRY to find a way outta here, shall we? We have to - WE HAVE TO." Thankfully it's incredibly dark and Terra's not as empathic like Ventus is, as otherwise that silent fear biting and nabbing at the natural fae enthusast with sinister glee would be almost suffocating. "That scuttling, you hear it too? It's like, they're working on sinking this 'place' or 'ship' deliberately, I don't want to dwell here for longer - let's go following that tapping southern from here, shall we...?" Shiva tries hard to still sound confident, but she can't be so forever.

She's very fine with Onari scouting ahead a bit, and summons both Azu and Lilith to her side in an instant. She makes sure that she has some physical contact to both of 'em (and Terra) ALL THE TIME, and here in this pitchblack darkness she completely relies on her other senses, especially her honed insight, as well as on her stellar fortuneteller's psychic senses and her blue fae-rabbit's extraordinaire sense of hearing. "If there is anything you're picking up that seems off or valid, or if you pick up ANYTHING me and Terra may not, please alert me, alright?"


(I'll also give her a first point in Alert Speciality for 6XP, as this is no situation where Shiva shall have her head in the clouds like always. FOCUS!!!)

No, I had you climb down there to keep things apace. Although that could be a cool side effect of the darkness - you have no idea where you are so it feels like you're being teleported.

So, yeah, the rest of the party can hear Shiva shouting to convey what she's found.

Awwww, seeing Raphael so delightful over having fulfilled his given task with flying colors and everything makes Shiva happy, and the relief over that is immense. Fells like the weight of a horde of Snorlax riding on oversized Mudsdale has been lifted from her heart when she realizes that Spira's innards are not smeared across a small island from hitting the ground hard.

She'll take a moment before following Primal Glaceon to check on him and and help him up, and she gives him an unhappy and frantic look. "Now... Now YOU are the one to give me quite the shock, you....!!!! ヾ(`ヘ´)ﾉﾞ"You could have...HAVE...." She sighs as she does not want to end the sentence, "Don't just die off, I don't want you to do, 'kay? I gotta go, my Glaceon, but I'll leave Raphael with you for now!" Off Shiva is, running after said icy Eeveelution. *insert all the happenings at the den here*

Hey, @Iron... That'd actually be a nice situation for Raphael to learn Wish for 39XP (29 on Togetic +10 due to being a pre-evolution move). Can he heal Spira to a small degree by casting this move on him additionally to one or two Heal Pulses from Heart's/@Spiritmon or Nathan's/@Dragonstrike side? (Can either one of you bring some up please?)
