[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery

(I'll make it short as I was about to head off for the night, but that Large Rock catches my attention most. In particular because lots of nice loot or a good battle againt a wild 'Mon can hide behind it.)

The group heads down the stairs to Floor B1.  The temperature drops a little bit as you head deeper underground.



The first of Snowpoint Temple's 5 basement floors has many rocks scattered around it, both small and large (the image is a simplified reference).  Wild pokemon and items alike are hidden among them, as well as patches of slippery ice.  The group will have to navigate their way through the maze of rocks, not knowing what may be around each corner.

Each character must take one of the following encounters as they make their way to the next set of stairs.  Each one represents a different section of the maze-like room.  Unlike in the image, there are multiple ways through the maze on this floor, and it's easy to get separated from everyone else while wandering around, so these encounters are all separate from each other.

Ran's keeps vigilant watch as the group descend deeper into the Temple, his beady eyes rapidly shifting to view his surroundings while Brigid and Belladona (to a less ethusiatic extent) brings up his rear and does their own observations. He let's out a small curse when he sees that this floor of the giant ancient ice box was festooned with cumbersome obsticles that made navigating through them as a group nigh impossible.

"Verdammte Hölle, why doesn't Candice or whomever is in charge of this place clean up this mess! The all ice slicking up the floor is excusable, but smashing up all these rocks into dust should be a cinch with a few good Fighting or Steel types! Bah!"

Not impressed with what he sees and has to deal with now, the midget man is.

Regrettably, Snowpoint Temple did not reconfigure itself out of shame/fear from Ran's critical grouching of it, so with a *Sigh* he turned towards his partners with arms crossed.

"Looks like we have to split up here, for now. Everyone, keep ya eyes peeled for danger and anything strange or 'special', and try not to get tripped up here. I'll go through that patch of Slippery Ice, as my Brigid can easily melt a way through it for me, and give any Ice types lurking around there second thoughts messing around with us. Belladona can also help too....if she wants. *Looks at his Pokemon partners* How's that sound, girls? *Looks at his human partners* That okay with ya, everyone?"

(Essentialy, have Brigid use her Fire Moves to melt/evaporate the Slippery Ice so that Ran can pass through without much hassle + try to scare of Ice type baddies. Belladonna is given the option if she wants to help out with the clearing task or not.)

Karen notices the small rock cluster and heads to it, avoiding as much of the ice as possible, she doesn't wanna bruise her tailbone again. She's mainly looking for rare (preferably evolutionary?) stones there.

Hooray for Randolph being finished with exploring the entrance are of the Temple - that was fast, lolz - but he gets a weird look from the side from Kee as he soft-rants about all that ice and stuff down here. Then he has to hold back a laughter as he begins to wonder what's more likely, that midget man liking nothing and none or plain enjoying to rant about things just because.

His adice to keep ones eyes peeled on danger/anything strange + special and stuff also receives a somewhat lazy and waving handgesture as the colorful musician's already making his way towards one entrance of that maze, Octavia's sparkling ribbons gently fluttering towards the others as he does so. "Yeahyeah, sure, I'll take care, see you at the stairs....", is only heard faintly and neutrally before he's outta sight: Looks like Kee's not very fond of being told what to so, at least if it's not an authority figure/legal guardian. However, Ran didn't say things in a tone that'd trigger Kee's sarcastic f#ck-you-attitude, luckily.

Oh, and if there's anything behind that large rock that'd try to ambush him, Octavia will jump in to take any attack her loveliest of caretaker would take, no way she'd let him get hurt as longs as SHE's there and on guard, hhhhmmmmpppfffff!

For the sake of pace, I'll assume Kogeki takes the Northern Wall encounter since that's the only one left.

Belladonna decides she's going to use her Flamethrower to melt a patch of ice other than the one Randolph indicated.  Just because.

When Brigid starts to melt the larger patch of ice, though, Randolph sees a large item is lodged in the frozen over rocks!  However, the item in question is currently rather dirty, making it hard to tell exactly what it is.  Oh, and it's also stuck.  Reeeaaaalllly stuck.  Removing it doesn't look easy.

When Kee walks around the largest rock in the maze, he turns a corner and finds...

...a perfectly normal dead end!  At least, that's what it looks like at first glance...

Before Octavia can react, a Golbat swoops down from the ceiling, catching her off guard because she didn't think to look up!  It bares its fangs, biting into its juicy, unaware target!

Octavia takes the full force of the Bite like a champ and hisses at the bat pokemon, completely unfazed!

There's only enough space to summon one pokemon to fight off the Golbat, but it doesn't seem to be particularly tough.

Kogeki was vigilant as ever against any foes. Gama was almost invisible due to camouflage and Nagi was ready to smite foes with his Hidden Power, or make them fall sleep. Kogeki decided to check the Northern Wall, and see what it had.

Karen comes across a small pile of rocks and starts to dig through them.  To her disappointment, she doesn't find any evolutionary stones.  She does, however, find a pile of Soft Sand underneath the pile.  She'll need a container or bag to put it in before it'll be a usable hold item, however.

Kogeki is attracted to the northern wall because he has a strange, unexplainable feeling something important might be there.  

He comes face to face with a group of 15 Unown when he reaches it!

They're currently remaining stuck to the wall, but all 15 of their eyes are staring at Kogeki.  Any Unown that are the same shape all blink at the exact same times and move completely in unison.  It's impossible to tell what any of them might be thinking, enigmatic as they are.

Kogeki was surprised in see such strange and rare group of Pokemon in such odd place. He was ready to fight, but those strange creatures didn't react in a negative way. "Is they need any help? I don't talk Unow unfortunately."

Is those Unow need help to get out of the wall or react with hostility toward Kogeki?
