This place is unnerving for Nathan.  The large, hungry pokemon definitely don't help with calming his already on edge nerves.  These caverns are just screaming 'DANGER!!' to him.

Nathan takes a deep breath and ducks it up, though.  They have to do this, so so be it.  The Sword, the proof of a leader, is close...so, so close...and they can't leave without it.  It's the most important of all 4 artifacts.  If they can't hurt Deoxys, they can't beat it.

...so after Nathan (subtley) points out the probably Electric type Mega Stone to the group and starts on contributing his efforts to clearing the path, he starts thinking about how he's going to approach tackling the giant mushroom that's currently in their way.

Would it be possible for Calam and Solosis to attempt to sneak up on and ambush the giant Foongus? If so, I'd like them to try and get off a preemptive Taunt and Future Sight respectively.

3. Name: Giant Magcargo
Cap: 1
Challenge: Tough

In the end, the rugged wanderer decided he'd take on the giant lava snail, as he had experience dealing/fighting the molten species before back home and knew what to expect from them. That, and it'd be a difficult but very much doable challenge for Sari to tackle (No, not that sort of Tackle!) and Strength herself by overcoming it. A good king needs to be strong in order to carry out their rule, and he needed her to become as mighty and capable ASAP for her own and everyone else's shake, so he'd test her metal and beat her into shape frequently he would!

Terra will fight Giga Magcargo with Sari and Arete, the later of who has his permission to treat their target however they want. He couldn't afford to take it easy on such a colossal threat, so he's not going to pull any of his punches here and let his baby Legend fight as viciously as she'd like. No attempts at a Ambush will be made, as that is not his forte and he prefers to fight his foes head on.

Shiva joins in giving some praise and thanks for Sari by offering a handful of good and fresh Gourmet Food to her. May Arceus bless this ultrashiny queen!


She's fascinated by these veins of silver lining everything, she's gasping in awe as it's giving this caversn such a beautifully mystical touch. However, her cheer is soon defelated and washed away over that massive sense of POWER that assaults her sixth sense mercilessly upon having set some foot into this cavern, Yena immediately chips in to snarl and flesh his teeth at the surroundings to protect her. "I'm fine, Yena, please calm down again - it was just overwhelming for me, that is all." He licks the back of her hand and rubs his massive head against her to comfort her then, whimps a bit over seeing Shiva like this even.

Soon, after having made some meters into this new Layer, Shiva almost jumps in fear as ashe realizes WHERE that sense of power came from - from the Pokemon living here, BIG and HUGE and STRONG-looking Pokemon on top of that. At the sight of that Ursaring chowing down that Arbok, she holds on to Terra for sought protection and adamantly refuses to look into the direction of these two 'Mon again. Instead, she observes these silverly lines further - humm, could they be the reason the Pokemon here are so oversized and tough-looking? How curious, that can't be plain argentum then, can it...? Maybe it's full of special minerals or gives off an extraordinaire aura??

Her curiosity about these silverly vines causes her to loose some focus though, and results in her screeching in startle as SOMETHING BIG moves down the tunnel just next to her. She hides and listens, makes out some grumbling and gruntling from that thing, then some sounds like a heavy lifts is placed onto the ground repeatedly. How weird - Shiva dares to take a look and recognizes that thing as a Machoke, one that is at least twice the size of a normal exemplar and three times bigger than she is. Ugh... But on the other hand, she can't help but to wishing to try out the psychic powers of her new Primal Espeon, and Lilith hasn't seen some good training for a while. Hiding behind a corner and drawing the Balls of said Pokemon, Shiva gives a sly smirk towards them through the transparent half. "Hey, you two... Are you up to show a huge Fighting Type that the mind is stronger than muscles? Come on, together we should be able to make it against a stroooong foe on our own too!" ^o^

If both Lilith and Primal Espeon prepare a Future Sight here, will it count as 'within the battliefield' and strike at the end of the next Round like normal or is that Macoke too far away?

You are indeed sensing that these Pokemon are getting very close to a mighty power that changes them, but it's not the silver veins, which are just ordinary silver as far as you can tell. There's something far greater hidden somewhere in these depths.


Machoke will be able to engage you at the same time you engage it, so no bonus Future Sights.

Seeing the Magcargo zip rip right up with remarkably speed to engage his partners of things caused Terra to blink in disbelief for a second, before he shook his head and gazed upon the magma snail with utter seriousness. His Pokemon being overtaken was something he was far from unused to, so he could handle the disadvantages it presented handily. Still, a Magcargo taking the lead in battle....

"Sari, I only ask you attack Margcargo. How you do so I leave in your hands. Arete, Screech, then douse it with Water Guns. Take this giant down."

Orders: Sari will be given carte blanc to handle Magcargo as she pleases, while Arete will soften up its hard exterior with Screech and use Water Gun 4 Times! If they use Shell Smash as their first Action, though, another Water Gun will replace Screech! Let's cool of this red hot Pokemon!

Conditional Orders: Replace Screech with W.G. if they use Shell Smash as their first Action

Spira follows the voice and comes to a smoothed cavern with two flat boulders in the center. A giant Sneasel is sitting on one boulder and spreading some silver nuggets on the other boulder, spilled from a sack. It's talking to itself constantly, about the coins, about Pokemon who bothered it, and lastly about how nice the weather's been down here. (There is indeed a slight chill to the air this far underground.)

It turns when it senses your light source. "Bothering the darkness again, are we? I'd heard there were some humans skittering around, disturbing things. Slew the Great Dark Slowbro. Surprised I speak Common? Don't be; we Pokemon spoke it first. You just copied us. It just takes a little practice, that's all. It's just, you know, practicing something other than fighting is rare with Her Watchful Eye being so close. You're not here to attack me, are you?"

Heart heads in the direction indicated by the rainbow thing, and comes up from a pit of baby Ekans carrying an unpolished yellow stone with blue and red swirls - a Manectricite, or so it will be after a bit of crafting.
