The Snover gather a few berries for Kogeki and Randolph, and one of them steps forward to act as a replacement for the Abomasnow that Randolph captured.

Kogeki and Randolph both get 2 Sitrus and 2 Lum Berries.

Gotcha!  Snover was caught!  Bye bye, Abomasnow!

"And yes, I will personally monitor the Abomasnow to ensure they don't cause any trouble again.  I should be able to handle things from here from this point on.  You can release them near my cabin, and the Snover will likely watch over them until they wake up.  Now come, the stage is waiting."

(Is that a typo or do the Snower thank Kee with these Berries for being so set on not seperating them from their leader couple? Because if it's the latter, Kee's keeping the Sitrus Berries hands the Lum Berries to Karen with a quiet "Don't ask. Just take them. I can heal stuff like burns and poisoning easily with Octavia.")

Ran uncrossed his arms and accepted the Berries, and offered a handshake for the Snover that volunteered to join him, grinning nicely and politely all the time.

"Welcome to my team, partner. Now, all's left to do is give ya your own name, as everyone of my Pokemon NEEDS and deserves one. Hmm.....how about Boreas? They're the Greek god of the North Wind and winter, and for Snover I think it's a perfect name that'll suit ya fine."

He listened keenly to the old caretaker, and gave them two quick nods as he uncrossed his arms.

"Good to know on both accounts, and I'll do as you asked. *Motions towards the Ruins* Lead the way when ya ready, sir. We'll be right behind ya, if a flurry doesn't knock us off our feet."

As the group walks closer to the Sinjoh Ruins, their footsteps and Gene's cane leaving footprints in the deep snow, Gene talks a bit more about the Mystri Stage.

"The Mystri Stage only ever allows one pokemon to alight on it, and that is the Creator Themselves.  No other pokemon may stand on its surface.  If you wish to examine it in more detail, you shall have to leave all pokemon you own somewhere nearby."

Gene continues as the ruins begin to loom over the party.

"Of course, there are two exceptions to that rule: those that Arceus creates and/or allows on the stage may also stand there, and the Unown that serve Them are no stranger to performing for their master.  It has been a long, long time since anyone has set foot on the Mystri Stage, though...ah, we're here.  Well, feel free to look around.  I shall wait here at the door.  If you have need of me, simply holler."

The dark hall that the Ruins swallow up is before the party.  From here, it's impossible to see what's inside, long and dark as that corridor is.  Only one way to find out what awaits within...

The interior of the Sinjoh Ruins is dimly lit.  Statues line the room's entrance, and a large, triangular platform covered in strange symbols can be seen in the middle of the single, massive room.



Floating in the middle of the stage, though, is...



???

In addition, three points of light sit at each corner of the Mystri Stage (but not on the stage itself): a yellow one at the top, a pinkish one at the lower left, and a blue one at the lower right.

This is something that feels off to Kee, and he confronts Gene along the way with it (in a friendly manner and voice, he likes him too much to be mean). "That...suggests that Arceus themselves is around to watch over the stage, to take care who steps on it and such. Because, ya know, how are they supposed to know who enters that forbidden place and who doesn't if they are not guarding this place, or are at least 'informed' in some way about that...? This doesn't make sense."
(EDIT: That's an in-chara question. Outta-chara, I have a bold guess concerning this.)

Humm.... Observing these lights, they gave off a striking resemblance with these Legendary Pokemon associated with Sinnoh's lake, what were they called again?..... Oh right 'Lake Guardians', right, he remembers that.

Kee has no idea why, but that bluish light sounds like it is faintly calling for him, like a faint voice that only he is able to hear, and solely when he concentrates on it. Or, if he indeed died in that icy cave and this is a test to enter afterlife, this must be the verge seperating these two worlds. Strange though, something about these voices does not feel right, maybe it's indeed just his imagination.

Very well then. Stella gets recalled into her pretty Pokeball (still wrapped into her blanket), and any further occupied Balls are given into Octavia's care for now. "If I trust anyone to keep them safe and sound, it's YOU." The faeveelution smiles and chirps fondly, accepts her recalled companions and tuggs them away to store them...somewhere. "Do tell me... What impression does this place, in particular that blue light give to you though? Any hostility you sense and feel an urge to calm? Is it...safe to approach that stage according to you? I take NO risk in that case, regardless how much it may lure me to it since it may or may not seperate me from you and your companions."

He waits for his Sylveon's insight on that, and will ask for Gene's guess whether it'd be a good or a bad idea to investigate these lights in the first place according to his guess. (That, and I kinda feel it's fair to wait for the other player's choices before going for investigation.)

Are you definitely going to call for Gene before investigating what's here?  He's currently waiting outside so the group can investigate things on their own first.

"It is a rule that Arceus set at the very beginning of this world.  They haven't visited this place in a long, long time, but They do not have to be present to enforce it.  The Mystri Stage itself simply will not allow pokemon other than Arceus to ascend its steps."

"Ah. So it's more of an...unwritten law, right? That makes sense then, yes. Good solution." He feels that it's better to follow that rule and not challenge it if he wants to avoid any nasty consequences, although it itches him to try out what will happen if done so either way. But, you just DON'T dare such a thing and awake Arceus' wrath, end of discussion.

No. I realized I missed stating 'if Octavia can't assure him that the light's safe', means if she can't give him peace of mind about approaching these lights, then Kee'd call for Gene for his guess. Sorry for that! >.<;

Snover doesn't particularly mind the nickname, though they don't seem to think it perfectly suits them.  Not yet, anyways.  They have a long ways to go before they're as strong as the Abomasnow.

When everyone enter the room, Kogeki said to everyone. "Guys, be careful when checking this place. There is problably deadly traps like venom gas, spikes, boulders falling from the ceiling, guards Pokemon in this place, or other kinds of nasty things. Ancient Temples normally had this kind of thing, so please try not to die alright?"

After saying such morbid comments, Kogeki decided to check the yellow light and see what the hell is there.

He also makes another quick change in his team, sending Larvitar to his PC and bring Aspidocheles.
