[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery
@Dragonstrike

"Hmm..." Kogeki said to himself while looking to the symbols. He was trying to understand this mystery. "This symbols obviously mean the power of the Legendary Pokemon. And this diamond somehow mean the power of Arceus. How I can restore its energy of those symbols?" Is Kogeki notice anything more around the circles?

Kogeki does not find anything else of note, no. Just some rubble on the Mystri Stage's surface.

Touching the symbols does nothing.

Time for moooooore abridged posting, as trying to make a proper post right now is just pants!

Kee's Conversation With Uxie (And Afterwords):
- Seeing Kee put to Sleep by the Knowledge Sprite outright made Ran guffah, clutching his belly as he shook with laughter! "That's what ye get for doubting Uxie, lad, hah hah! You'll get learned by them, one way or another!"
- Mespirt more or less revealing that it was Lucas that stopped Team Galactic (and him being so damn humble about it) causes the bristly miner to outright gawk at them, before he broke into more laughter, this time in the form of chuckles as he shook his head. "Knew ya were something else like hardly any other, lad, but not to the point of being a fire forged Legendary hero. Don't know why ya downplaying it - least of all to sweet lil' Mespirt - but if that's what you prefer to do, I won't make a fuss about it. Much, hero boy. Heh heh heh!"

Kogeki's Disrespectful Defiance:
- When Uxie gives the one armed ninja the second degree, Ran immediately notices and starts paying attention, sussing out the jist of what happened pretty quickly and couldn't help but deadpan and turn to Catherine, pointing at them as he did so.
"Didn't think we've be getting a demostration of what happens when ya piss one of them fairies off, but there ya have it right there. *Shakes head* What in the frozen north did they say to irk Uxie, the coolest head of the Trio, so damn much, and why he'd say it.? *Sighs* Fool's lucky they only left it at scolding them, instead of revealing some horrible truths that'd break them or something. Hopefully that'll better teach him to hold his tongue around them, and he'll take what Mespirt said to heart....."
- Since he's paying much closer attention now, I'd say Ran catches everything Kogeki says, which sends a right powerful shock to his core as he learnt what he's been through and lost, enough to break his gruff composure. Then, his expression shifted into one of......grim sympathy as his lips tightened into a light frown as he slowly shook his head. "Guess we have our answers now, Catherine. Ones that I can relate with. *Sighs* Don't think its fair for him to share his raw spite with with them three, though. They ain't responsible for his grief, and probably just as powerless as he was at doing anything about it all. Could stand to be less bitter and cynical about what he learnt of the Legends too, and coming from and old bastard like me that's saying something....."
- Because of the above realization/sympathy, Ran doesn't go off to confront and/or comfort Kogeki about his behavior, leaving them to sort out their own feelings and following the example of the Spiritual Trio. He understand they'd want to be alone and unbothered, and feels that's what best for him too right now, so that was that.

Kernels of Wisdom (And Afterwords):
- Ran's become's a little frustrated but mostly concerned about the increasing gaps in Uxie's Web of Knowledge (or whatever you call it), and tries his best to consul them about it/offer solutions/leads to it. "Well, that's mighty perplexing and disconcerting. Whatever's screwing around with everything is being awful thorough in covering their tracks, and the fact it has something to do with Heatran.....*Grimaces* .....yeah, that ain't good. At all. I have faith you'll be able to deduct or induct what's clouding ya Insight eventually, though, so don't get too bent out by it Uxie. As a matter of fact.....you know anyone or thing that could be responsible for ya problems? For that matter, can ya use deductive or inductive reasoning to figure out the info whatever is trying to block from you?"
- He's.....less pleased by their lack of Knowledge about them, nor their seemingly flippant attitude about his pursuit of them, but he keep his negative reaction to himself, swallowing his own bitter feeling and answering them back neutrally and politely as he could. "Yes, I am. If someone wrong ya like they've done to me and many others, would you let them prance about as they please? (...) ....Fair enough point, Uxie, and thank ya for all the information. Not as much details as I'd like on them, but at least I know I'll be seeing again someday. And when that time comes.... *Clenches a fist, and growls* they'll have every level of hell to pay."
- Information about the Red Chain is taken rather well by him, all things considered: He's a bit surprised and amazed, but gets over it quickly enough, and doesn't have any questions to raise about it and accepts it all calm as he can .
- Lucas's news, on the other hand, gets a much more pronounced reaction. Ran nods along to their explanation of why they're here and not giving other youngems a hard time, but shakes their head at their guess. "No, you'd be wrong, lad. Came here to investigate the Temple to see if this mystery force affecting Mt. Coronet and apparently the whole bloody damn world was affecting it too, and get some clues and info about it if that was the case. Rest of my partners tagged along to help me, for one reason or another. *Shakes head, and sighs* Didn't even know the Temple had undergone some supernatural re-arrangements until we got deep in it, and only had suspicions from the guard that something troublesome was brewing in there. *Shakes head, and smiles* Glad to see ya regardless, though, even if ya were too late to help us any! And here I thought the youth of today were a overly spritely bunch, bah hah hah hah!"
- Ran outright looks blow away when the champ revealed THEY were the group's mysterious fifth addition, before he let out a loud 'Woop!' and started laughing in pure joy, a large percentage of his worry/stress for his investigation/the future now momentarily banished! "Schlagen Sie nicht alle mit Funken und Schmiede wie meinen Hammer auf einen Amboss! Good - Great - no, OUTSTANDING to have ya with us, lad! That sure and hot as Brigid's hellfire takes a whole load of stress of me shoulders, and gives me hope I'll survive this job to cash in my paycheck after all! With us all working together, that Legendary troublemaker's gonna regret fucking about with the fabric of existence like they OWN it! Hah hah hah hah!"

Finished, and complete! Ready to progress to the next part, whenever!

What if I touch the symbols this time with the Mega Kunai @Dragonstrike? Maybe the energy of the Key Stone do something about it?

Nothin'.

It's at this point that Azelf flies over to talk to Kogeki briefly. (or at least gets as close as they can, given they can't enter the vicinity of the Mystri Stage)

You know, as much as I admire your determination to try and fix this, the Mystri Stage itself isn't the source of the problem, so your time and Willpower would probably be better spent doing other things. You'll have to go to Spear Pillar and fix whatever's going on with Dialga up there to fix the Mystri Stage. The Stage only directly channels their power if Arceus is standing on it, and merely reflects the current status of the Creation Trio if Arceus is elsewhere. Ol' man Genesis is supposed to be our early warning system if he notices something funny going on with the stage, and thus with the balance between the members of the Creation Trio.

Uxie begins thinking out loud, mostly to themselves.

Whatever is tampering with my historical records, it's incredibly powerful. I wonder if this is linked at all to Dialga's symbol on the Mystri Stage dimming...? Tampering with time would seem like a logical way to blot out history from my records...but Dialga itself would normally never tamper with such things, either...hmmm...whatever it is, though, it's only blotting out specific parts of it, as if it is hiding how the act was performed, but not the act itself...curious...the disappearance of the Heatran and other individuals, the imprisonment of myself and my siblings, the sealing of the Azure Flute...and above it all...nothing concerning Spear Pillar in the last six months. As soon as my records reach the point where the Mystri Stage was turned into a makeshift prison, all records of Spear Pillar simply vanish...and yet, there's so many reports of time dilation and contraction in and around Mt. Coronet recently...and a handful of spatial distortions, though not nearly as large scale nor prevalent...something must be deeply wrong at Spear Pillar for such events to occur...

Uxie turns to look at Kee briefly before going back to pondering.

...and then there's that mystery. Before their sudden appearance in the Cave of Knowledge, I have no records of anyone who match his description at all. How curious...it's almost as if he shouldn't exist in this world...he is very much real, though, as I just proved...hmmmm...I wonder...

...and there he goes. You just had to get him started, didn't you, Randolph? He's gonna be trying to solve this puzzle for who knows how long now. He was probably going to do that anyways, but...well, we should probably discuss what you guys are going to do next in the meantime. Ya helped ol' man Genesis out and freed us, but I'm afraid your work is far from over if you're aiming to fix the problems Sinnoh's having lately.

Yup! Just say the word, and we'll make a Red Chain for you to use! If something really is wrong with Dialga, you're probably going to need it...

'Course, we won't blame ya if you guys don't want to help, but I don't think Lucas is gonna have an easy time doing it alone, even if he DOES have Legendary power at his disposal.

"Well, Azelf's not wrong. I have a couple tricks up my sleeves, but not having the Lake Trio to directly assist in the fight is going to have a huge impact on how the battle goes. If you guys are assisting, though, I think we'd be able to manage without too much difficulty."

Gene finally speaks up after listening to all of the ongoing conversations.

"...it seems we're all in quite a pickle now, aren't we? Well, once you're all ready to return to whence you came so you can get on with your adventuring, Abra will Teleport you there. His nap time should be over soon. He's a bit of a night owl, you see. I'm afraid that I can't do much more to assist you all than that. Now that I have access to the Sinjoh Ruins again, though, I can monitor it more carefully. Hmmm...yes, perhaps the form of a Kitsunoh would be sufficient for that task, now that Uxie has reminded me of that creature's existence...or maybe a pokemon with Insomnia..."

I'm sure that whatever form you take, Genesis, you'll do a great job! Er...once you finally decide on one, that is...Azelf, do you think his memory's still as sharp as it used to be?

...I'm not sure, Mesprit. I thought I heard the Unown saying it was starting to slip in the last few thousand years...maybe it was just baseless gossip or random chatter though...I can never tell with them...

"Oi! I heard that, younguns! When are you going to learn to respect your elders?!"

...no offense, Genesis, but if you're struggling to get past a couple of Abomasnow, I think you've been spending too much time as a human...

"...*sigh*...perhaps you are right. It is an experience unlike any other though, I'll have you know, and I don't regret my decision in the slightest. Ohhohohoho."

When Azelf come and talk to Kogeki and said those things, he comes with his theory. "Maybe this is been caused by Giratina? They the ruler of reality, so it could be have interfere with Uxie vision too. Or maybe Dialga get rebel too, just like happen with Giratina?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, not human? Then what are you then, 'Genesis'?"

Quote:"In any case, I'm glad to see you all here, and not just because you seem to be alright. Based on what I've heard from Gene, what you've done here only further validates my recommending you guys to Professor Rowan for this expedition to Mt. Coronet that we're all about to embark on. And also assures me that you can handle yourself, Kee. And yes, you heard that right. I'll be joining you guys, both as added protection and also as a guide of sorts. I've explored Mt. Coronet from top to bottom, including the incredibly difficult to reach Spear Pillar. It took a little convincing for the League to agree with Professor Rowan that it'd be a good idea for me to go on such a long and likely dangerous trip, but hey, I think it's warranted, as does Professor Rowan. Doubly so if we're going to end up facing a Legendary. If we all work together, though, I'm confident this mission will be a success!"
At Lucas' revelation that he'd be the help brought in, Karen's eyes go wide; "Wait... I know Rowan said you had a personal stake in this problem, and I kinda figured that you may get directly involved, but I didn't expect that to actually happen!"
