Giant Castform Round 1

When daddy Castform sees you approach, it grows gray and thunderous. From the top of the minaret, it begins lancing down lightning at you, swelling up by absorbing moisture from the air, more lightning, deafening waves of thunder, and all the while scowling fit to scare a Charizard. Hail falls, dust swirls, and all the most dangerous effects of each kind of weather seem to be raining down on you. You aren't sure what Castform's typing even is right now, but the lightning seems predominant.

Thunderbolt 1
(2)(5)(6)(1)(6)(4) (1)(6)(3)(4) Critical hit, lancing right down on Sari's pointy hat.

Sari will have no problem drawing up moisture in this stormy cavern - IF she obeys. (6) v (4)(2)(6)
Instead she climbs the tower and leaps upward at Castform. Her Tackle careens off and she is sucked into the maelstrom.

Sari makes a "Vrooooooooooo!" noise of excitement as she is pulled into the stormcloud.

Spore 2
(4)(2)(1)(1)(4)(5) (5)(5)
Castform fell asleep! The rain and lightning lessens, and Castform begins sloooooooooowly drifting down the minaret. It doesn't seem to hurt him at all, despite piercing his misty form.

(5) v (1)(1)(5)

From within the stormcloud comes a flash of purple energy, and Castform's sleepy eyes cross as Sari whips around and around inside him.

Confusion 2

(1) No damage
CD: (2)

Insight: (2)(2)(5)(4)(2) = 2

Mikey scales the tower in an instant, giving an attack almost just like his famed Sky Uppercut. Instead, at the last second, he moves to take advantage of Castform's sleeping form.

Thunderbolt 5
(6)(4)(2)
(2)(4)(5)(2)(6) Sari takes 4 dmg 5/12hp -2 pain. A Potion brings her to 9/12hp -1 pain.
CD: (3)

Mikey has no need to poison heal.

Thunderstorm, Hail, and Sandstorm: Mikey and Sari take 3 dmg. 7/10hp -1 pain 6/12hp -2 pain.
The Pokemon are struck by the perfect storm as Castform's eyes open again and his rage is stirred to even greater heights. Sari slops back to the ground in a puddle. She looks a bit exhilarated, but also somewhat electrocuted.

Nathan thrusts the Sword into the ground again, keeping his distance for now.  "...a question for you, Lunapup.  This stone right here..."

Nathan shows Lunapup the Galladite.

"...another traded something for it, I've been told.  Would you mind showing me what exactly she traded for it?"

Lunapup recognizes Shiva's smell on you, and comes back with the Cottonee fluff.

There are only two Mega Stones left in Lunapup's cache - one Delta and one not. And you know they're both Psychic type. That's all you know.

Nathan sighs when he sees that.

Oh well...back to business, then...

Nathan kneels down and gets on Lunapup's level.  "...may I see the other stones like that one that are in there, please?  I'd like to see if I recognize either of them."

Lunapup sniffs your hand, looking to see what you might have to trade.

The Sword is already firmly bonded to Nathan, so you aren't entirely sure what would happen if it were traded. The Scimitars implied it was possible, but not easy.

Nathan pulls out a Twisted Spoon and the unpolished Sablenite.  "Would either of these be something you'd consider taking?"  He withholds both of them from Lunapup for now, though, as he's currently just looking.

That, and he's still deciding what to do here...Lunapup is a rare species, after all...

He nibbles both and, finding them of interesting textures, agrees that he'd consider them.

He ducks inside and brings out the two stones from beneath the watchful, wrathful Eye.
The black and white and purple one sure has a lot of colors in common with Juliet.
The other is black and purple and red, with a glint of fire. You've actually seen this one before, and thus you know it serves Delta Houndoom.

Nathan eyes the Delta Houndoominite in particular, another question on the tip of his tongue immediately.  "...where did you get that one with the red in it?  I've only seen that one in nightmares and dreams...it's a long story, in case you were wondering..."

Initially, Terra appeared minutely aggreved and moderately worried when his superbly shiny sloth threw herself head long into the sheer chaotic malstorm that was Giga Castform's personal Weather pattern (A oddity that had Terra even more concerned/curious about it), which only grew after discovering it could rain turbo charged Thunderbolts. After seeing her come of of the cumulohumongous so delighted and thrilled with her contrary antic, though, and determining that the battle was relatively firmly in her/Mikey's favor....

".....Sari, keep having fun with Castform. Mikey, put it back and keep it aSleep with Spore, and finish it off with Facades."

...Well, why not let the magnificent monarch have a little fun goofing around? Serious and stoic man as he was, Terra was not above indulging his partner's whimsies like so (or even enjoying them himself, for that matter!), and despite the inherent danger of the Skull Ruins and their big angry cloud of an opponent, he judged the situation and current threat level was condusive to such tomfoolery. This was probably the one of the few times Sari could/was enjoying herself this much in her life too (Given the stress of having to live in the Skull Ruins), so he didn't have it in him to ruin the moment for her for now.

Hopefully this turns out to be a good idea.....

Orders: Michael will Spore the Giga Castform before going into 4 Facades (Switching to Drain Punches when/if he falls to 1/2 HP), while Sari is being carte blance to do amuse herself however she likes with the fluff ball too. She'll also get a Sitrus Berry just before doing so, which should heal her up to 9/12 HP. Mikey also has standing orders to substitute whatever Action he's currently on with Spore, should they ever awaken again. For future Rounds, Sari still has the 'Have Fun!' orders, and Mikey will do 5 Facades/Drain Punches per Round, using Spore as needed. Time for the Weather to clear up, once and for all!

Moves:

Mikey: 5 Actions - Spore and Facade/Drain Punch X 4; Facade/Drain Punch X 5 for future Rounds
Dice Pools: Channel and Brawl (14) - 1 Pain - 5/6/7/8/9 Actions = 8/7/6/5/4D6 Dice
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
