Darkrai: "Huh? Canalave got hit by one as well?" Spira obviously does not know about the attack; he says this next part with a hint of worry in his voice; "Do you happen to know when that attack happened?"
Ditto: "Well, if ya notice anything odd, let me know. The more I see of Ditto and look for repeat occurences of its unique trait, the more I feel it's connected to the moon somehow..."
Nightmares: "Just to clarify, I don't know for certain it was Darkrai. I did read a short article in an old news archive from...I think 6 or 7 years ago that seemed really strange. A handful of individuals apparently fell asleep and were unable to be awakened."
"...more recently, we actually had a similar occurence on a larger scale show up in Creshire recently, in the port town of Corsage. I found out that it definitely wasn't Darkrai's doing, though, so...yeah, I'm not sure what exactly happened in Canalave." Ditto: "Got it, I'll keep you in the loop if anything interesting or weird happens with the Ditto."
Nightmares: Spira visibly relaxes a bit when he hears how recent the Canalave "attack" was; "Ah... I see, I know stuff like that is tragic, but it's a relief that no-one else I knew was caught up in that."
*Flashback End?*

If it was anything like what happened in Corsage, they were hopefully just really tired when they did wake up...wait, you knew someone who might have been in Canalave? Do you think there's a chance they might still be there? I mean, they'd probably be rather elderly by now if they're still alive, but...."

The Aerodactyl swings around a minaret on desiccated wings. This is quite similar to what might be resurrected from a fossil in the modern age, but by a civilization not so skilled in the process. It's clearly very ancient.
But what follows behind Aerodactyl could not be farther removed from the natural world. It's terrifying and wrong. A toothy skull is the first thing to wheel into view, followed by the rest of a draconic skeleton. Ghostly energy shines between the bones, especially in the eyes, and a Mega Stone is embedded in the skull. Between the wing bones, nothing but ethereal tatters. At the tip of its tail, a fire still burns, consuming no fuel.
The two monsters fly as a pair, roaring overhead as if in search of prey.

As Shiva passes a minaret with a door, she notices keys still sticking out of the lock. As she approaches to investigate, thinking it could be a rare Klefki, the keys disappear. You step through the door into a secondary cavern, somehow folded inside the slender minaret. And inside that cavern, still more towers, each with a Klefki sticking out of the door. They all begin glowing, charging an attack, at once. Before this happens, however, you notice the keyring was gold rather than silver, and shining with glittery scales.
Your sixth sense also noticing something odd. There's only one lifeform here.

2x Hitmontop: (6)
Conkeldurr: (5)
2x Machamp: (5)
Quetzal: (4)
Doublade: (1)
Riolu: (1)
The Machamp are carrying blocks of indestructible castle material on long chains. The Conkeldurr is odd - it keeps one hand sunk into the wall of the minaret as if it were a hot knife in butter.
Riolu looks like a cute pup, but driven to do battle by the nature of the nearby Eye.

Stealth: (6)(6)(4)(3)(2)(4) (3)(1)(1)(6)(1) = 4 success
From so high up, Exeggutor commands a wide view of the surrounding area. He's so tall you might even mistake him for a minaret at first, with his neck bound in shiny golden petrified wood. And there's something odd about most of his heads - they glitter too, with silver sparkles and dull eyes.
Alert: (6)(4)(3)(1)(5)(5) (6)(5)(2)(3)(3)(5) (1)(6)
Exeggutor sees you coming and drops himself right on Toya, longways.
Power Whip
(3)(3)(3)(3)(5)(6) (4)(6)(2)(5)(5)(4) (3) Critical
6 Str + 5 power + 1 str + 2 crit = 9d6
(2)(2)(1)(5)(5)(4) (1)(4)(4) Toya takes 4 dmg 8/12hp -1 pain
(Stealth attacks are just one single action outside the normal turn order. So they usually crit but you can't pull off multiple.)
Toya: (2)
Exeggutor: (2)
Shiny Alolan Exeggutor Round 1
Ice Punch 1
(4)(3)(1)(5)(5)(4) (2)(3)
Despite its size, the creature is quite pliable/fragile.
(1)(5)(5)(2) Exeggutor takes 4 dmg 34/38hp -1 pain
CD: (6) A very lucky freeze. And Exeggute doesn't have any supereffective moves, unlike almost every other mon in the universe.
Ice Punch 2
(1)(3)(1)(5)(1)(2) (5)(6)
(6)(6)(5) Exeggutor takes 5 dmg 29/38hp -1 pain
Ice Punch 3
(5)(4)(4)(1)(5)(4) (4)Critical
(5)(1)(4)(6)(5) Exeggutor takes 6 dmg 23/38hp
Fire Punch 4
(5)(5)(4)(4)(2)(2)
(1)(5)(1) No damage
CD: (5)
Fire Punch 5
(5)(6)(2)(4)(1)
(6)(6)(1) Exeggutor takes 2 dmg 21/38hp
CD: (4)
Strength: (4)(1)(4)(6)(6)(6) The rulebook doesn't say what Str score it's supposed to beat, but that's certainly enough. (Maybe you need 2 successes?)

Mikey: (6) + 9 = 15
Scizor: (3) + 6 Dex + 5 Survival = 14
Pixie: (1)
Pixie's has Intimidate, right?

(Indeed she does! She's also holding Leftovers too!)
Terra didn't pause to come up with a plan of attack for his partners as they engage the ironclad mantises. He just let them attack, and boy howdy did they ever do it! Mikey, eager to test out his newly enhance Move on the insects before him, did just that with great excessive exuberance, repeatidly pounding the ground with his fists to summon forth 'waves' of jagged Rocky spires at them ALL! Meanwhile, Pixie did what she did best - do her darndest to thoroughly unnerve her foes with a cute but menacing Growl, before fortifying herself with Iron Defense and exploiting all the weaknesses she could with sneaky, underhanded blows.
Both of these Pokemon were among some of the most tenacious, hardy Fighters out of the sagely monk's current line up, if not out of ALL his Pokemon, period. Would they be able to withstand the onslaught of the horde of Scizors though.....?
Orders: 5 Spread Stone Edge against ALL the Scizors, while Mawhile Growls at them, then hardens up with Iron Defense and goes for 3 Faint Attacks. She also has Orders to try and draw aggro off Mikey and defend him, just in case the metal bugs start swarming him en mass. He'll also get a Sitrus Berry if he happens to lose 3 HP or more. That's all!
Moves:
Dice Pools: Channel (Spread Stone Edge (- 1 Accuracy, due to Mod!), Iron Defense, 14D6) , Intimidate (Growl [Stacks with Intimidate], 15D6), Brawl (Faint Attack, 14D6)
Damage Pools: 9D6 Base Damage for the Spread Stone Edges (All have High Crit too), 7D6 Base for Faint Attacks (You don't even have to roll Accuracy for them, if you don't want too, unless they try to evade)
Sitrus Berry for Mikey if he loses 3 HP or more.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
