[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Nathan also still wants Heart to attempt to finish restoring Marco before they leave the Ruins if possible (with Gallade assisting with Lucky Chant).

-----------------------------------------

Yup, while everyone else is busy tearing the room apart for one reason or another, Nathan is going to be sitting off to the side, examining the Mesprit card more closely, carefully looking at it from multiple angles.

"...I have so many things I want to ask you.  Too many for a single request...not that I want to impose, either, but...I still can't help but wonder..."

...

"...will this card show me where you are right now, what you're doing?  That's the first question..."

Gallade is also examining the card with Nathan, of course.

Heart quickly return Atlas back to the Pokeball, with the decision of free him when they were in a space place. Heart decided to begin a quickly search around the room. Trying to find Key Stones or maybe any Ancient Held Item Saminarok might have left behind just like the Miracle Rood or Everlink Armor. Who knows? Maybe he find something.

Insight+Survival+Alert to find anything.

No one has interacted with the mithril cone at all.

Shiva searches with Azu's helping hand, Yena's sense of smell and Lilith's Frisk as said already, I just wished to state this once again to prevent it from being accidently not accounted for. She scans the floor with the Megastone Detector also, just in case, even if she doesn't know whether it can detect Keystones too.

Before she begins her search, she also hands Terra/@Lord Windos 10 normal redwhite Pokeballs (as mentioned in MetaThread), none of those are the colorless Apricorns just found. "Here, use these to store some nice stuff into it, okay? I feel we.... Well, we deserved to take some of the treasures along if you take a look at the hardships we had to face to actually arrive here. A Museum or Ruin Maniac will certainly pay us a lot for this stuff! Please make sure to turn it into cash soon, okay? I bet you will with your merchant's skill! I'd like to....have these Pokeballs back after all. I should get along with my remaining ones for a few days though."

Something that Shiva also wished for was paying Sneasel another visit - the chance that he found more nice stuff in the meantime feels low however, doesn't it? What shall we do with that at best, maybe ruling that Shiva did buy the Black Apricorn right away for easiness' sake?

I'm ok with retconning that just to move things along faster, if you like.

The instant you focus on it, the card comes to life. The Mesprit, as you're watching, comes to perch on a tree limb which you recognize as being the kind of tree growing near Murkrow Cove. It looks extremely worried. The card's background becomes ultra-realistic, and you feel you could simply lean forward and fall right into it...

(Because it enjoy being capracious when it can be?)

Well, since no one else interacted with said mytical metal, I suppose Terra can go investigate it admist his pillaging and looting of all the riches in the Pseudo Throne Room. I'd imagined he be curious enough to paw about it a bit (After he gets out Solomon to check it out themselves to see it's dangerous/divine anything at all about it, of course), and then see if he could hover it up in a Pokeball/take it period with him. If nothing else, he could ask Nathan later to use The Sword to slice it off  whatever its attached too for easy retrievial (if anything), or cut of a few piece. On that note, probably should see if it reacts with the Adamant Sphere in anyway too, just to be thorough.

Also, not to harp, but what Marco's Treatment? That should be addressed before the party leaves for the surface, at the very least!

"...huh.  So that's where you are right now...I wonder what's wrong...is it Deoxys, or something else?"

Nathan looks to Gallade to ask his friend for their opinion.

"...shall we go ask them ourselves?  Do you think we'd be able to get back like Shiva did with the Sylveon card?  Or...do you think this might be a one way trip like with the Cress City card?"

Gallade gestures at the border of the card. In style, it seems very similar to Shiva's. Gallade gives you a wondering glance, trying to figure out what you'd ask Mesprit.

"Huh.  Good point.  It is different from the Cress City card's border, isn't it?"

At Gallade's wondering glance, Nathan simply chuckles as he responds.  "So, so many things.  Right now, though, there isn't time for that.  Well then...let's go pay them a visit, see what's up."

Refocusing back on the card, it's time to be bold and jump in like Mario into a painting!  (But on a smaller scale)

The Slowking get very excited when investigating the mithril cone. Solomon picks it up (it's much too ethereal to attach to anything or be sliced by ordinary means) and clenches it in his stubby paw until it steams. Then he holds it to his mouth, aims it at Terra, smiles, and makes a slight whisper.

Immediately the little fortress is rocked by an astoundingly large noise. A shiver of fear goes through everyone in the room who isn't wielding an Artifact. All the Pokemon on the outside of the fortress take off - you can hear Sigilyph fluttering - but no new mons come to investigate like you'd expect.

And Terra? Terra is gone, running as fast as he can up the passage from whence he came. It takes him an hour to calm himself enough to approach Solomon again.

This item is called the Frozen Roar, and has kinship with the Adamant Sphere. It's the roar of a Legendary Pokemon imprisoned in metal. A Pokemon holding it can use Frozen Roar as a Canalize move. If successful, it makes any non-legendary Pokemon flee (up to six at once). Alternatively, a trainer can hold it and give a fierce rallying cry to their Pokemon as a Trainer Action, which works like Helping Hand (no roll).

Finally, whichever character holds it is immune to exhaustion penalties and pain penalties.

You get warm and fall inside the card. You're on a cliff overlooking Murkrow Cove, few miles south of Corsage Port. Mesprit has moved to a lower tree branch, a safe distance away but right at head height for you. It is smiling a little as you step out of the card.
