[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Nathan gets 10XP for completing such an important character goal, and Heart gets 8XP for his crucial role in making it happen.

Heart joy tears indeed roll around his eyes. Not only of happiness, but because...because he wish he has such connection and love with his own father and family.

He can't stop thinking: Things could have been different if his family didn't perish in that faithful day? No one could say for sure. The only thing Heart could feel was his body get the toll of putting his own will in the ritual, and in the moment he try to stand up, he fall behind. "By Arceus and in the name of my Ancestors...I hope I don't need to do that ritual again, because I in pieces right now...After beat Deoxys ass I hope there is lots and lots of food and eat until I enter a state of food coma..."

Heart release a relief sigh and laugh a bit from his bad joke. He is just happy in help reunited a family again...he wish it could be that easy with own family, but he knows his job gonna be more hard.

Rose release herself from the Pokeball and help her Master stand up. They approach Nathan. Heart to Nathan and offer his hand to do a bro fist compliment. "God damnit Warren. At least don't let my hand in the void for Giratina sake."

[Dragonstrike]

Nathan gives Heart a quick hug instead of a fist bump.  "Thank you.  Thank you so, so much."

Now then, hugs out of the way, Nathan has to get his dad up to speed.  "I'm sure you have a lot of questions, but, uh...we don't actually have much time right now.  I've got so, so much I need to tell you later, dad...right now, though, we need to be getting out of here soon, so I'll have to keep this relatively brief.  Do you still have the pokeballs for your pokemon?  You'll need to reregister all of them."

[Iron]

"Yes, they're right here on my belt. I have hazy memories of what's been happening... I know we're in the Ruins, and I think I know why. It doesn't take much clarity to see why we shouldn't linger here any longer than necessary. Which way is out?"


Angie, Heart, and Terra get the mural packed away in the Heavy Ball, and all the most expensive treasure registered to PokeBalls.

Now then, hugs out of the way, Nathan has to get his dad up to speed.  "I'm sure you have a lot of questions, but, uh...we don't actually have much time right now.  I've got so, so much I need to tell you later, dad...right now, though, we need to be getting out of here soon, so I'll have to keep this relatively brief.  Do you still have the pokeballs for your pokemon?  You'll need to reregister all of them."

Heart was his guard down because of the hug but he was avla to say something. "It's nothing Nathan. Just doing my job as PUNisher of the group. You should be careful with hugs thought Warren. I still a little tired after the ritual. And we still have other humans Alakazam to help after Deoxys defeat. *Sigh* I can already guess my job didn't over yet."

Heart decided to have a bigger check on the mural and see what other secrets hold...maybe Heart remember some sort of Legends from his memory of the ArcHeart bloodline? Insigh+Knowledge+Lore maybe @Iron?

Then Nathan remembers that there's only five of Marco's pokemon present.  "...oh, uh...how do I say this...um...Machamp...he didn't make it....the Kadabra didn't seem to be partial to keeping around any Fighting types that weren't also part Psychic type...so...I asked one of the pokemon we encountered if they would be willing to help out.  They're kinda shy, and they like to collect things, but they definitely seem like a kind soul."

Nathan gestures to Lunapup.  "...they might not be Machamp, but...well, I thought that having another dutiful Fighting type around might be of some comfort.  They certainly seem to be a good guard dog."

Totally willing to give Lunapup to Marco if he'll have them.

"Thanks, buddy. I was there when Machamp... fell. We both lost, trying to save the other. It's really thoughtful of you to get a Pokemon for me. You've grown a lot, haven't you? I'll raise it well."

This mural isn't mentioned, but Plates relating to Arceus definitely are. Several cultures around the world have inscribed stories about Arceus and other legends onto plates. Those who can read them can find out lots of information about Legendary Pokemon that may have been lost to history. The finer the print, the more detail. If you give a Plate to a nonlegendary Pokemon of the same type as the Legendary it describes, it gets a small boost to power (1 dice). 

In the wild, Arceus has no need of Plates, but if Arceus ever decides to fight alongside humans, the Plates can be an invaluable communication tool. Arceus doesn't speak in a way mortals can usually understand and vice versa. The same principle may apply to other legends.

"It's been a long three years, yeah.  Mom's going to be so happy to see you again.  Uncle Oscar too."

Nathan takes a deep breath, then addresses everyone.

"Well, it's about time we got out of here.  We have a Legendary pokemon from space to fight.  The comet they were on landed in the Teazel Valley area not too long ago.  It won't be long before they emerge and start to wreak havoc on their surroundings if we don't stop them.  No major population centers have been hit yet, but that's not going to stay true for very long if Deoxys gets its way."

Once everyone's business is concluded, Nathan will pull out the Cress City card.

It's finally time to return to the surface.

[Iron]

"Yes. I was researching Deoxys right before I came here, I remember. Searching for the artifacts you all have."

He doesn't seem particularly pleased to see Scimitars either, for obvious reasons.

"Deoxys is an alien intelligence. It can't be reasoned with, and has no respect for mortal life. It sees any planet it comes to as an experiment, a place ripe for destruction or looting or manipulation. Last time it was here, millennia ago, it corralled Pokemon one species at a time into various parts of Creshire, and trapped them there with psychic boundaries that only recently disintegrated enough to allow free movement of Pokemon. It did other things, too, like introduce the Tall Grass as their experimental habitat. The ecoystem was nearly destroyed last time, and diversity hasn't yet fully recovered in all those thousands of years. This time, it could be even worse, given how many humans are about. Who is most likely to move a Pokemon from one place to another, after all? Who will disrupt the...er, variables? Who invented agriculture and Pokemon breeding techniques to rival Deoxys' own?"
