When Genesect is strapped into the HM FLY, its skin begins shifting and splitting. Near the base of its spine, a primitive water cannon emerges, similar to what you might see on a Blastoise.

Well, looks like Terra's intuition/blind curiosity was spot on! He's certainly surprised when his primal powerhouse actually learned it (and a bit concerned by what it apparently did with their body....) , but when they treated what happened with blase apathy at worst he too took it in stride. Guess Legendary Pokemon really can learn stuff beyond what you think they could....

With Heart: He'd accept the provided gear and put it all on, giving the pun lover a nod of thanks. Never hurts to be prepared for anything, so good thinking!

Genie and Nathan: Despite their lack of reaction, she still takes full satisfaction from her revenge, as the act itself was gratifying and she was canny enough to know the boy was being intentionally obstinate about complaining, and therefore still enjoy it. You can't hide anything from her, little man....~

Genie with Shiva: The mystical lass gets a playful wink (Well, her version of it) back from the Dragon Djin of the Desert, sealing the deal on the mass mischief and vast vexation they'll be creating together from now on. Oh dear....

Terra pretty much let's Shiva handle the talking with Cosh for the most part, but does have this to say to him as well: "Latios and Latias are fighting Deoxys and clones too, so don't worry about them attacking us. They are on our side."

After that, he's pretty much done with talking (for now), and ready for some action! Well, except for doing this, if feasible: He'd make a quick FLIGHT to Stair in order to purchase a Wide Lens for Genie, and then either instantly rejoin the group and fly with them over to the designated meet point, or just FLY over to its straight away if the group would just head their while he's making his sudden last preparations. He's planning on his dragonfly princess fully abusing both FISSURE and Rock Slide to the fullest, so having a Item that helps aims them would be most helpful!

Heart clap his hands together to call the attention of everyone. "So. Are you people ready to go? Where we go first? Are gonna meet Cush in Teazel Village? Or we have other plans? Because I really excited to test out FLY! Is there any brave Trainers willing to go on a wild ride on Quetzal?"

A question: Is Shiva/@PhantomUnderYourDesk the only person who go to Grover to meet Lurantis? Or everyone go together?

She told Cosh via the transmitter that they can meet in Teazel Valley, it's stated in a previous post of mine, even highlighted.

To Cosh: "Yes we do now, and we're just as set to go. Glad to hear you are as well! So..." Shiva moves her gaze to inquire everyone about the following, asking for their approval non-verbally: "...We'll meet at Teazel Valley then, near the entrance of the Safari Zone. Until then, Shiva over."


About the Grove, she makes extreme haste to get there, Shiva's ending up panting upon finally arriving at this scared place. Or, at what remains of that place... Part of her is a little downcasted, a bigger part of hers is relieved though as Primal Lurantis appearantly took massive safety measures. So massive that she can't even sense the presence of either of its inhabitants, which confuses and amazes her at the same time...? Hehe... She feels this way Deoxys can't reach through this place.

Still, Shiva can't just leave, carefully she dares to get as close to that strange ripple as possible and places a hand on it even if she can do so. If that triggers any traps or similar, she's got the Shield to protect her. Her voice is quiet but clear when she speaks up: "...Lurantis? You there? It's Shiva here, the one who gave a small unicorn and even smaller flower fairy into your care and protection........ I see you've taken safety measures as I would totally miss that there's something special at this place if I would be innocent. If you, Ophelia and Fuchisa are in certan safety, can you at least give me a sign? Please? I need that assurance before heading to face the threat from space, the worry would distract me otherwise, you see..."

Shiva feels that even if Primal Lurantis answers, it'd be rude and inapporpriate to ask whether They would be willing to join fighting, even if she could ensure Their safety with the Shield, so she abstains from throwing in this ask. The Grove's safety has priority, and letting its caretaker fight at the front whether They are better suited for/have chosen a defensive positon doesn't sound like the nicest thing to do.

Boop! A tiny little orchid suddenly blooms in the crack. 

It's not a rare species, but it would be an astonishing coincidence for it to bloom just then.

Awwww!! Shiva carefully plucks the tiny orchid, puts it behind her ear and then gifts deep bow in respect towards whoever just made it bloom at just the right time and place."I thank thee for the reassurance, I thank the deeply... You may not quite understand why this has so much importance to me, but this is secondary, just know that it means a lot to me." She raises from the bow, lets her gaze rest on the curious ripple for a few seconds before saying one more thing, no sign of insecurity ringing her voice. "I will come back to pay you another visit once I helped dealing with the situation and once thing settled a bit, please grant me access and permission then. Until then I am putting all my faith into you to keep yourself, this special place, as well as the unicorn and flower fairy safe and secluded from all harm."

She makes amends to go, turns around one last time to utter one last and melodic "Until we may meet once more, primal caretaker of this place."

You meet up at the entrance to the Safari Zone, FLYING on your Pokemon!! For the first time, you see these Earth Scimitars release some of their Pokemon (one each) to learn FLY. Then back into the Pokeballs they go. Cosh has a dozen new faces with him, in addition to himself and Kelda. Arachnautilus, you're told, has headed elsewhere in preparation to assume a leadership role.


Cosh: "Steel yourselves. Let's go!"
Marco: "I'll be working with my Pokemon to take down any clones that threaten the Artifact wielders. Lunapup is in the PC for now."
Cosh: "I'll be flying overhead, using the Hauberk. It takes most of my concentration, so don't expect too many spells from me. Kelda will be repositioning those who need it, and fighting with Helm-empowered spells in the meantime. She'll be drawing as much attention as possible, because the Helm protects against the true danger of Deoxys - its thoughts. Shiva, if you find a moment available to you, you may wish to extend Shield protection to Kelda. But sometimes Nathan's Pokemon will need it more. Kelda knows what she signed up for."

Kelda looks a little shocked at this blunt statement, but after a moment's thought she recognizes the validity of it.

"Nathan, did you find out which Artifacts are best against which Forme?"

Since Marco is taking up clone clearing / aggro drawing duty, Terra will be partnering up with them with their permission. His team is geared towards doing such in the first place, and he doesn't want his best friend's dad shouldering this responsibility alone . Saftet and excellence lie in numbers, as many know! Plus, he doesn't want to directly confront DEOXYS if he can avoid it, as he does not want to be made a liability in the upcoming struggle...

Terra also has no qualms with Cosh's plan/ his statements , as they are both sound and pragmatic .

Oh, and before everyone charges in, Terra eats one of his Enigma Berries, both for luck and to fill up on a last bit of nutrition. Hopefully it will do him good...!

('Extend Shield-Protection?' This sounds like it is able to protect more than one person or Pokemon. Another power-up?)


The news of Arachnautilus being elsewhere for a leadership position makes Shiva very very happy for some reason, her eyes grow big and she gasps faintly as Cosh drops that bit of information. Shiva can't help but to silently smile to herself, believing that Arachna does great in such a position!

Towards Cosh's proposed battle plan and words of advice concerning the Shield, she responds with a reliable and serious salute, not an inch of her body showing the looming nervosity and boiling excitement she's feeling.

Her voice is as clear as the sky above Elanor would usually be if there weren't all the space dust. "Understood and noted, I will make sure that Kelda acting as the lure for Deoxys' toxic thoughts is kept safe, and try to find a balance between protecting her, Sword-empowered Pokemon and those of my Pokemon assigned to a supporting role. You have my permission to redirect any buffs I let my Pokemon summon to another one taking an attacking action you feel needs a certain boost most, I am trusting you that you put the Hauberk into good and clever use."

"Let us do as best as we can, and stand together as the winners while a certain alien beast is blasted into oblivion for another millenium!"

When meeting Cosh Heart point behind him towards Quetzal. "My Delta Steelix can provide transportation. I suppose he can carry 3 or 4 people maybe. He can fly, so you better give aerial support. Just a warning Cosh: Try anything funny, and Quetzal will kick you in the air. Capiché?"

Extending shield protection just means you move the buff to Kelda.
