Uh....I don't think so? From what I read, the first Target of Grid's Fury Cutter bonaza took three hits before it Fainted (1st Stripped Armor/brought it to 1/2 HP, 2nd Brought it to 1 HP, and Third Fainted it), while the last two blows brought the second Target to 1 HP. Essentially, any Pokemon's SD Fury Cutter can at least KO 1 clone and bring another into KO range, so our original predictions were correct....
....Unless Iron forgot to account for SE Plot Damage (Each Hit is = to 2 PD, not 1), in which case the first Fury Cutter of Grid's would have brought the first Target to 1 HP, the 2nd KOed it, and the rest popping the second clone. Even if they had 3 Plot Armor, two SE SD Fury Cutters still would have KOed a single target, since it 4 PD > 3 PA, and the same goes for 4 PA. In order for the Deoxys Clones to survive 2 SE SD Fury Cutters, they'd have to have at least 5 - 6 Plot Armor, which is quite frankly an approprietely ludicrous amount, but I'm unsure if that is the case since I don't think the clones were meant to be THAT durable against The Sword.
Thoughts, mate? @ Iron ?
As for Night Shade ignoring the Shield....yeah, that shouldn't have happened, given how NS and Protect/Detect works in Pokerole. Night Shade only does a flat amount of Damage based on Badge/Plot No, but it can't ignore the flat 3 Dice Reduction from Protect, since it comes last in damage calc.. Ergo, at least one of the Night Shade would have done 3 Dice Less Damage (If Wide Guard could only intercept 1 of them), or a total of 6 less if the simultaneous nature of the clones attack allowed the Shield to catch both.

Alright! Guess Arete's going to be chowing down the next Round, and Genie's going to be doing some demolition! For clarifications shake, by two Round you mean the next two Rounds, or the past one and the next?
I actually meant two actions.
The Plot Device damage is correct, as the Deoxys' regeneration/shield cancels out the Super Effective.
However, I did forget Wide Guard so Gallade should be unfainted with 2HP.

Ah, okay! That means Arete has even more opportunities to go ham on the clones, shoulder they be brought to 1 HP and/or bother her/them while they/she is feasting!
Hm....so the Regen of Deoxys and its clones nulls SE Damage? Huh.....well, that makes things harder for us, but not by too much me thinks, since each clone still takes three SP Hits before Fainting. Thanks for the clarification!
Woot! Guess that means Gallade gets to be buffed and healed up for the next Round, Dragonstrike!

Wait, so the Deoxys effectively have no weaknesses at all?
Welp, buffing time for Gallade, then! Lucky Chant is the important one for obvious reasons.

No, it looked like the Bug Type Sword-boosted moves were better than, say, a Normal type move would have been.

This likely means Gallade does set up that Lucky Chant? Because I wanted to bring one up if he doesn't, but now I can spend that Action for something different. Yay!
Already answered
While I'm already on it, what's the Init of the new Deoxys Clones we have to face, Iron? Since they aren't Speed Forms, I guess they aren't going to move after Kelda and before everyonelse, or will they?

You dunno yet, and I dunno yet if you're going to stand your ground or take the battle to the clones, or what.

Oh! And I was just about to bring up battle orders, but it's cool that you're giving us a chance to react and decide what we'd like to do and which foes to fight. \(^_^)/
Well, I'm most interested in moving further and take on the Real/Prime Deoxys (the rainbow-gem'd one doing highly gruesome things to innocent Pokemon, I hate it for conducting those (メ` ロ ´) ) as soon as we can, in the intention to save resources for that exemplar and in the hope that defeating them will have a benefitial effect for our side on the clones. Marco also said he's going to take on any clones that may be a danger for us Artifact Wielders - the Yellow, Blue and Green ones that have noticed us - and I'm trusting him on that. There's also the few Legendaries that we could ask to take on so that we can handle the Real Deoxys!
I also kinda want Kelda and Genie working together further on destroying that makeshift-tower of electronics that traps formless Pokemon, which means getting closer all together.
Quote:(...)Kelda and Cosh together can keep a buff active even when switching battlefields, due to Kelda's speed and Cosh's rearranging ability. But this takes their actions to do, and then another action to return, and so on. Initiative definitely stay the same if you take advantage of this.(...)
But, from what I'm reading in this, this means that our buffs are nullified as well, unless we 'trade' keeping them up for Cosh and Kelda taking all their Actions to keep them up.
Quite honestly, I'm in favour for this, and compromise that if things are getting critical, those two change tactics to directly participate in the fight by attacking again.
