Now that everyone's laid out their own plans, what's yours Dragonstrike? Healling Gallade to full and going ham with him, and having Grid continue where he left off?

What would you guys prefer I do?  Burn down 2.5 of them super quickly, damage them all slowly but simultaneously, or take them all down as quickly as possible?  We need to coordinate, or this is going to be a lot harder than it should be.

It's preferable to remove as many threats as possible from the field, so just outright Fainting a couple of them would be preferential to trying and spreading the damage out to take all of them out simultaneously. Less Deoxys means less things trying to brainwash and/or nuke us into oblivion, after all!

Genie can't really coordinate from where she's at (If Kelda Teleported both of them to a diff battlefield), but at least Arete will be helping with picking off weakened Deoxys and eating the Fainted ones so they don't regen and rejoin combat.

Hate to say this @Dragonstrike, since I know you're probably busy IRL and also planning stuff out for the next Round, but when are your Orders coming in? You have the number of, forms, and the Initiatives of the Deoxys coming to give our characters a bruisng, so coming up with a plan shouldn't be a issue or take a long time unless you're stressing over the details of it. I don't mean to be a dick by saying this, I just want the game state to progress faster than a snail's pace so EVERYONE can continue to play and have fun.

You have the number of, forms, and the Initiatives of the Deoxys coming to give our characters a bruisng, so coming up with a plan shouldn't be a issue or take a long time unless you're stressing over the details of it. I don't mean to be a dick  by saying this, I just want the game state to progress faster than a snail's pace so EVERYONE can continue to play and have fun.

I know, I know.  Gonna make a decision and start posting 'em after work (in less than an hour from the time of posting this), regardless of any other input I may or may not receive from other players or the GM in that time.

Honestly, though...I can't say I've been very...enthusiastic about this climax, to be honest, and that's another reason I've been kinda slow about this.  It feels a little...hollow, I guess.  Sure, in the grand scheme of things, it certainly is fittingly epic by definition, but...it just doesn't quite yet feel like I thought it might OOC, if that makes any sense.

My irl friends also recently 'convinced' me to get a PS4 and the stuff needed to set it up so we could play Monster Hunter World together, and I have a bad habit of spending a lot of time messing with new toys when I get them (and I REALLY wanted to catch up to my friends in MHW, so I had to hard core grind). Sorry 'bout that.

Alrighty! You're quite good at stratagizing and planning things out, so I'm confidant whatever you come up with will be excellent!

Hmm? Well, that's a bit surprising, but at the same time....I can sorta understand? Our characters haven't really gotten into the thick of things with the Deoxys clones/DEOXYS Prime itself just yet, and nothing overly threatening/drastic/dramatic/bombastic/etc. has cropped up to pose a significant challenge to change the game state, so I can understand how things are not feeling particularizing amazing or epic. Especially since the group has already been in several EPIC situations in the past, such as 'Fighting' Seikamater, fleeing Mewural, Fighting DMGenesect , and just surviving the Skull Ruins and rescuing Marco in the process. Hard to feel 'wowed' by an event unless it matches or exceeds those past ones, imo.

Ah, I see. Heard MHW was an excellent game if you're of the right mindset for all the prep work and long term payoff, so I can't blame you getting hooked by it and want to have fun with your friends. It's the sorta thing I would do, if I was not swamped with college work IRL and other stuff.

@Iron, how much sense would it make to set a time limit in which you're asked to give your input and battle orders for the fights against Deoxys and their Clones? Something like 'Two Days after the Round is rolled out and you know everything needed to state your actions (Like, number of foes, Init Orders and such)'. I'd actually apperciate such a thing, as while I'm totally hyped for this scene and for actively doing something to save the region(!!!), I dislike the gaps as they're making it feel pretty anticlimactic. We all get busy, that's no question, but finding the few minutes to state your orders even without dice pools if you're in a haste should be...doable, I feel?
