Deoxys Round 4

Sheer Cold 1
(6)(1)(5)(5)(3)(5) (6)(5)(1)(3)
Vampiric Spell 2
(5)(2)(1)(5)(2)(5) (4)(5)(1)
The first Speed Deoxys slams facefirst into a wall of ice, which quickly begins absorbing it. Kelda zooms up behind and places her gauntlet on its neck. Deoxys faints. Kelda looks stronger.

"Good girl. You're getting the hang of it."
"Erm. Thanks, Cosh. But this is really, really tiring."
But when the emotion of hope ebbs for a bit and then flows back at full force, she looks ready to continue.

On the other battlefields, Latios and Latias are destroying clones with phantasmal afterimages of themselves opening their mouths and breathing eldritch fire. The true Legendaries can make short work of the illusory-legendary clones, though they aren't immune to the damage of the Attack Formes and they take a few scary hits each that leave them bleeding from the eyes.

The Speed Deoxys scan the group, predicting what some of your Pokemon will do. Luckily, Mightyena's typing protects his thoughts, and the Shield protect's Shiva's.

They see Gustav's intent to flinch them en masse. Gustav's shell begins buckling under the strain, and some of his blue blood begins leaking out.

(5)(6)(6)(3)(3)(2) (6)(6)(5) Gustav faints, going very limp. He also takes 1 Lethal damage and will require medical attention.

Rage Powder 1
(4)(5)(1)(1)(4) (6*) The Attack and Speed Deoxys immediately turn on the Dark type, their gems glinting in preparation for their most devastating attacks. Defense Forme Deoxys is unaffected, continuing their slow crawl toward Grid.

Yena looks really, really scared, but fortunately he has enough Loyalty to go through with this plan. It's hard to trust the Shield, but it's easy to trust Shiva.

The Sword actually makes Grid furious, urging him to attack its ancient enemy, the thing it was forged to destroy. The two Keenglaive inside it want their sacrifice to be worthwhile.

(1)(2)(4)(6)(1)(4) (1)(5)(6)
Grid succeeds in laying waste to the two attack Deoxys before they can move. The third is at half HP, and the others are barely holding on...but all are about to regenerate.

Gallade steps in between Grid, Deoxys, and Yena as the weakened Attack Formes move in with rage burning in their normally docile eyes. Mesprit flies overhead, and you all feel the sense of kinship between Gallade and Nathan. It's no surprise, except perhaps for its strength. What is suprising is how much of a bond he feels with Shiva. Literally everything that has happened, happened because a little mistreated Ralts foresaw the future. He saw a girl would choose a Cottonee, would need to visit Elanor and get a Sunstone. He did everything in his power to get enough strong trainers to show up in Elanor at just the right time to be apprised of a massive threat to all Creshire. People who would have loyalty to Creshire, Trillium, and to their two key Pokemon. People who could be prodded into entering the Skull Ruins and obtaining the prophesied artifacts. An empathetic girl who loved Psychic types. A boy whose father had a particular affinity for them, who'd stop at nothing to reunite his family. These two original members of the party hold a very special place in Gallade's heart. Though it started as a plot, it ended as nothing less than absolute love.

With that thought rising in Gallade's mind, and echoed in Nathan's through their bond, and broadcast to everyone by Mesprit, Gallade makes his attacks.

(1)(3)(5)(3) This Deoxys is brought to 15hp, again losing his layer of ablative armor which begins regenerating. So he's up to 30hp now.

The final Deoxys folds a hundred spikey whips around Yena and crusssssssshes. There's a blast of purple light and psychic whips flay out in all directions. Every Pokemon loses 2hp (except Yena). Kelda and Cosh too. (This AoE is typeless and bypasses defenses). But as the tentacles withdraw back into Deoxys' body, Yena stands there unharmed and panting.

(4)(1)(5)(3) That's 15 damage, negating all that regenerating he just did.

Arete belches up a stream of shimmering bubbles. Those Deoxys it ate didn't agree with it.

Cosh moves Swords Dance from fainted Gustav onto Genie. Then he zaps Deoxys with the Antenna.

Sheer Cold 1
(3)(4)
Attack Deoxys was reduced to 1hp

Rock Slide 1
(3)(6)(6)(3)(1)(6) (4)(3)(4)(4) Critical. The non-super effective damage is much less lethal to Deoxys, but in Attack Forme and Speed Forme it's weak enough to work, especially with a critical. Doesn't affect the Defense Forme one bit, however.
(6)(3)(4)(6)(3)(2) Four Deoxys take 3 dmg. Tyranitar and Goodra take 2 dmg. Attack Forme Deoxys faints.
CD: (6)(6)(1) The aforementioned characters flinch, except for Defense Deoxys who is immune to added effects.

Heart makes a capture attempt.
Ultra Ball: (4)(3)(6)(4)(4)(1) v (2)(6)(6)(5)(1)(5) (3)(1)(5)(2)(4) Breaks

Technically there should be a roll for Frozen Roar but I'ma skip that in the interests of time.

Doublade is a straaange choice of Pokemon to wield an item that is a Frozen Roar, but the Ghostly nature comes through and produces an eerie moaning sound that seems to come from every direction. Buoyed up by Mesprit, your team remains unmoved. Tyranitar and Goodra immediately flee, no evasion possible. At first, it looks like the Deoxys will be unaffected, protected by their intense psychic powers. Mesprit takes advantage of the distraction, though, glancing your way and opening Deoxys' mind just a bit, just enough, that they flinch. This even affects the Defense Deoxys!

Seeing all the foes flinched, Marco orders Feraligatr on cleanup duty. He's unwilling to order his croc to actually eat the Deoxys, but he begins tearing pieces into as small of grains as possible and stomping on the remains. His every action is imbued with Dark energy.

Cherrim blasts Defense Forme with Nature Power, but it does nothing since it's not super effective and they're already flinched.

Loyalty: (nothing) v (6)(5) The enormous Exeggutor makes like a tree and leaves. It stomps away over to the mountains. As it passes the other battlefield, Mesprit enchants it and sends it back to Spira. Exeggutor gains 1 Loyalty.

Shadow Punch can't miss and Defense Deoxys can't be crit.
(4) Defense Deoxys takes 1 dmg.

That leaves only Defense Deoxys, armed with giant collections of rubble and soil. They hurl it indiscriminately around the battlefield, but all their attacks miss thanks to Heart and Lancelot weakening their resolve!

2 Speed Deoxys remain, but they are enchanted by Yena and flinched. 3 Defense Deoxys remain, unharmed and unaltered. There are several corpses that need cleanup.

That's just the end of Action 1, but Action 2 should take me less time so maybe I can get to it after rehearsal. Consider this a teaser! (also you can correct any mistakes).

Deoxys Round 4 Continued

Heart uses Super Potion.

Wide Guard 2 - Honedge uses the Frozen Roar to ignore pain.
(3)(6)(1)(1)(5)

Cosh doesn't really have any buffs to move around. He casts a spell to reduce both Speed Deoxys' defense, and he's ready to move it to another should one appear.

Sheer Cold 2 from the antenna.
(6)
Speed Deoxys drops to half HP.

Rock Slide 2
(5)(1)(5)(6)(1)(2) (3)(3)
(1)(2)(6)
(4)(2)(6) Another round of flinching for the Speed Deoxys! They flinch 3.

Crunch 2
(4)(2)(4)(5)
(4)(5)(1)(4)(4) I guess they'd shrug off only the first SE damage. That's 5 dmg.

Shiva follows that up by catching a Deoxys arm in a Pokeball. It's one of the ones Feraligatr tore to pieces. Looks like the smaller chunks can be treated as objects. But you heard from Nurse Joy that a big enough piece can still reform into a complete Deoxys clone.

Bite 2
(4)(3)(5)(1)(6)(3) (5)(2)
(1)(3)(3)(5)

Cherrim tries again on a Speed Deoxys. She'd like to use the power of Tall Grass against Deoxys, wresting control of it much as Cosh wrested control of the tower.
Nature Power 2
(1)(5)(4)(6)(2)(2)
(5)(2)(2)(4)(6) That Deoxys takes 3 dmg. So it's 12/45 and 35/45 hp for the speedy boys.
They've already flinched though.

Crunch 2
(3)(1)(3)(3)(4)(5) (3)(5)(5)
(6)(2)(2)(4)(4)(4) 8/45 and 35/45

Loyalty: (5) v (3)(6)

Barrage 2
(3)(3)(6)(4)(5)
(5) 7/45hp

Shadow Punch 2
(1) No damage

Defense Deoxys has to take up the slack since you figured out how to keep the Speed/Attack down.

Rubble Blast 2ABC

(1)(5)(2)(3)(4)(5) (5)(4)(4) Crit
(6)(6)(4)(5)(1)(4) (6)(2)(1) Crit

Great psychically-enhanced pieces of Elanor form a maelstrom around your party. The Speed Deoxys have just enough mentality to dodge out of the way as shards and rubble rip into your party. Wide Guard helps a lot, but will it be enough?

(6)(5)(1), (2), (4)
(4)(5)(2), (1), (5)
(5)(5)(5), (2), (1)

Terra, Heart, and Spira's Pokemon take 7 dmg. (6 for Arete). Nathan and Shiva's Pokemon take 9 dmg. When coupled with the 2 dmg they took earlier from Attack Deoxys, the damage is devastating.

Genie 3/12hp
Arete 3/11hp
Heart used one Super Potion after that first attack, so Lancelot has 2/9hp. Another Super Potion is half as effective, now 5/9hp.
Exeggutor is just fine. Toya has 5hp.
Cherrim faints.
Grid and Gallade faint.
Kelda and Cosh take the damage too.
Marco's Pokemon are at 6 and 4 hp. He hasn't used Trainer Actions yet, so he heals Feraligatr to full.
Arete gets a Max Potion.

Kelda is back in the game, trying to salvage something after that disaster.
Sheer Cold 3
(4)(2)(2)(5)(3)(2) (5)(3)(3)
Speed Deoxys C is down to 1 HP.
AoE spell 4, looks a bit like an Icy Wind
(4)(1)(5) 6/45, and a faint.

The speed Deoxys are flinched.

Wide Guard 3 Since Doublade can ignore pain, he has enough dice to attempt Swords Dance (your math is a little off there - the difficulty increases every time.) Heart is screaming to Doublade over the noise, trying to direct two swords at once about where they need to cover. And it works! Your warrior ancestors would be proud.
(3)(3) (6*)
Heart's Will point, coupled with the Frozen Roar, pulls it off.

Cosh moves Sword Dance to Feraligatr. It's a sight to see such a large, dangerous-looking Pokemon become even fiercer and pointier. He almost looks like a mega version of himself.

Being out of dice for Sheer Cold, Cosh focuses on bringing down the Speedsters with the Antenna. He orders the Rotom to whir about and brew an Ominous Wind.

Ominous Wind Antenna 3
(4)(3)(3)(5)(4)(4)(6)
(6)(6)(6) Damn, that IS ominous.
One S-Deoxys is down to 4/45 hp, and the other is at 1/45. The three Defense Deoxys are completely untouched.
CD: (1)

"Kelda, what do you think a Sheer Cold will do to a Defense forme? Can you try it please?"
"Cosh. The Helm counters Speed Deoxys by blasting them to their core right away. But the Sword is the counter for Defense forme! We have to either get that sword, or just keep Nathan alive until he has a chance to get out another Pokemon."
"I suppose you're right."

Indeed, Nathan and the other trainers are running for their lives, trying to dodge the huge amounts of rubble, make themselves heard over the noise, and it's hard to find the time to reach your belt. As most of the Pokemon are down, Deoxys might get a chance to attack trainers in the interim.

Rock Slide 3
(5)(3)(3)(4)(5)(1)
(5)(4)(3) 2/45, and another is buried under rubble! Arete is still tired from those Fury Cutters, but she starts burrowing into the rock slide to get at that tasty Deoxys.
CD: (5)(3)(5)

Yena is untouched, thanks to the Shield!
Crunch 3
(3)(5)(2)(6)
(6)(6)(2)(5)(6) The last of the Speed Deoxys faints. Yena accidentally swallows a huge chunk and makes a face. He licks up some Shield Dust to get that disgusting alien taste out of his mouth, then he proudly trots over to Shiva (Ignoring all the rubble and glass that's bouncing off of him) and drops a Deoxys-finger at her feet. Which I guess she zoops up into a Pokeball for reasons I do not know.

"Nathan! It's up to you now!"
"I think I see the pattern, Nathan. Deoxys' true self is split to make these clones - his legendary resistance to mortal damage, his legendary ability to strike without fail, and his legendary power to fell mortal foes in a single blow. Presumably the Normal Forme represent Deoxys' cunning, which I find myself hard pressed to match."
"I believe in you, buddy! Feraligatr will clear a path!"

Pointiest Feraligatr begins clearing a path and moving in front of you to grant cover. Nathan and one other trainer can fit behind Feraligatr's oversized bulk.

He also spits a Water Gun at Defense Deoxys, but it is not Plot Device damage and thus does nothing despite the Swords Dance.

Luxray is ordered to use Magnet Rise, a great opportunity for Cosh to give someone the power of flight later. The gigantic sphinx running through the air over Nathan's head is a grand sight to see. Thunder sparks at every footsteps like the arrival of Thor. He herds the three Defense Deoxys together like a Herdier.

Alolan Exeggutor leans over and forms a living barrier between two Defense Deoxys and a load of rubble they might want to use as an attack mechanism.

Toya's shadow punches have no effect, so he begins shoveling Deoxys chunks into his belly-mouth. Where they go, no one knows, but they sure aren't visible when he opens that mouth.

The Defense Deoxys gather in everything that's been thrown at them - the shards that failed to pierce Yena, the water energy of Feraligatr, the thunder of Luxray, even the residual energies of the sword. Slowly and methodically they have gathered them, along with some wreckage of Elanor and a bulky Healing Machine. All at once they are hurled in all directions.

Mixed Attack 3ABC
(2)(6)(6)(2)(2)(3) (3)(5)
(1)(1)(5)(5)(3)(5) (3)(3)
(2)(1)(1)(5)(4)(2) (2)(6)
Each attack is reduced by Wide Guard.

(1)(6)(1), (1), (6)
(4)(2)(1), (4), (5)
(5)(6)(4), (6), (2)
Genie faints.
Arete takes 4 dmg, 7/11hp
Doublade faints while protecting the others. He gains 1 point of Happiness.
Exeggutor still has a huge pool of HP lmao.
Toya faints.
Kelda is down to 1hp. Cosh has 2hp.
Luxray faints but continues to hover just above the ground.
Feraligatr is melted away while shielding Nathan. takes 5 damage from the attack, and a further 4 from acting as cover for Nathan. Barely up.
Nathan still takes 5 damage, leaving him with just 4 hp.
Heart takes 7 dmg.
Shiva is immune, and granting a bit of cover to Spira and Terra, enough that they don't take damage. With four more Pokemon fainted, the next AoE will hit all trainers and then some.

Bodies of friend and foe are strewn everywhere. Elsewhere in the valley, it's much the same. The Flying members of the League have arrived, and many were wiped out before they made their first attacks. Lati@s are definitely still going. No sign of Mesprit right now, but you still feel a little hope despite the devastation you just experienced.

Kelda already used Action 4, but she does have time to drink a Hyper Potion, drinking it as a toast with Cosh.

"The ends justify the means. Sorry, Shiva." Cosh moves the Shielding from Yena to Nathan. Yena stumbles immediately in broken glass, but doesn't yet know what could happen.

Feraligatr leaps into the air on every fourth step. Every leap is higher. He's doing a Dragon Dance! Marco has little to do but heal him back to full. He's running close beside Nathan now, determined to shield his son with his life if necessary. The two of you are almost in a position where you can send out Pokemon safely next turn.

All other ordered Action 4 attacks are ineffective and most trainers are out of Actions.

The first Defense Deoxys rushes headlong into Nathan. The other two look like they're about to do the same, but Exeggutor is in their way.

Zen Headbutt 4
(5)(3)(3)(4)(3)(3) (4)
Nathan is unharmed, but Shiva feels the incredible power of the bulky blow slam into her shield arm. Nathan goes flying and hits Marco, dealing a little damage to him.
(6)(3)(6)(3) Marco takes 2 dmg.

There's no Wide Guard this time, but the Defense Deoxys are also out of their best ammo, and their Psycho Boost has drained their offense. Obviously not a problem Attack or Legendary Deoxys would have, but offense is not their strong suit.

One attacks the minds of the party directly.

Psychic 4B
(6)(2)(6)(3)(4)(5) (1)
(5)(5)(3)(1)(3) All trainers take 2 dmg, including the Scims but not including Nathan. Nathan has 4hp, Marco's taken 4 dmg, Heart has a grand total of 1hp remaining, I think Terra and Spira are tough enough to ignore that little damage. Oh, but Terra, you do notice that the little hidden part of your mind responds to the attack, and Defense Deoxys' gem is blinking like crazy. Must be communicating something important.

The other shifts into Attack Forme (from now on, will go on the Attack initiative count).

Plot Device Psychic 4C, on Spira.
(5)(3)(6)(6)(2)(1) (1)
Spira drops to 1hp.

Kelda is completely panicking. "I don't know what to do! I don't know what to do!"

She tries a Sheer Cold, and it does harm the Defense Deoxys but not enough that it won't quickly regenerate. Costs him 25% of his HP.

In Attack Forme, Deoxys still bears a grudge against Yena. Spira is also caught in the splash.
Zap Cannon 5
(5)(5)(4)
Yena drops to 1hp instantly.
Spira faints and takes lethal damage.

"Spira! I'll bring you medicine in a second! I'm no good against Defense Deoxys. I'm no good, I'm no good, I'm no good!!!"

Nathan obtains Magnet Rise from Luxray via Cosh. "Calm yourself, Kelda. Remember the Meditations. Find your center."

Knock Off 5
(1)(2)(5)(4)(4)(3)
(3)(5)(6)(4) Yena faints and loses the Expert Belt.

Knock Off 5
(4)(3)(4)(1)(5)(5)
(3)(5)(5) Feraligatr faints and loses his teeth to a direct bulky punch. I think Defense Deoxys is my favorite form.
He had time to get Nathan close. Marco is still here with you, and most of your party. It's time to see what the Sword can do.

1 Attack Forme remains and 2 Defense Forme. The Attack Forme has reduced defense. The Defense Forme have reduced attack, come to think of it. None have taken any damage.

Most of you need to send out new Pokemon. I'll get you initiatives ASAP.

"You're doing fine, Kelda!  Just keep doing what you can!  This battle isn't over yet!"

Nathan recalls his two brave pokemon at the soonest opportunity, and cracks his knuckles once he has some time to recover and send out some fresh pokemon.  "Alright you lot, this ends now."

Nathan tosses out two pokeballs, summoning Charizard and Princess!

"You aren't just facing us!  You're facing everyone who lives in this region, no matter how strong or weak they are!  It's time that we illustrate just how true that is!"

Nathan raises the shining Sword in the air, and Princess raises an arm as well, issuing a call to aid the recently crowned queen of Bugs!  Nathan and Princess spend 5 Will Points to summon a massive swarm of Combee, and quite possibly other small bugs as well that have been released from Deoxys's control!

Given how many bug pokemon have been gathered here by Deoxys and how most of the small pokemon have been freed of Deoxys's control, I'm fairly certain that this should work now.

Spira watches, somewhat dumbfounded as the giant Exeggutor suddenly decides to "leaf" like that, and when it is re-encouraged to the battle field, he can't help but smirk, "Good job, now keep up the work."

Spira is thrown by the Psychic blast and just as he manages to pull himself to his feet, the Zap Cannon's splash hits him, and he blacks out.

Heart while he was trying to defend himself and his friends, was hit by many rubbles those Deoxys was throwing at them. He see Gustav be squished, blue blood leak from his skin. Before he could apply a potion, he feel a powerfull psychic energy hit hard his body, barely surviving. He fall beside Doublade and Gustav. He take a last look, to see his friends be hit by the same energy. "Damnit...I...Cant...loose...them...too..." Heart try to stand to stand up, but with only 1 HP he barelly alive. He see Spira on a critical situation too. "Spira...Terra...Nathan...Shiva....Valder....Ventus....I sorry....I...failed...."

Those was the last things Heart said, before his mind fall to darkness.

He feel falling into some abyss. Falling for his death. And for his eternal sleep. "So...this is it huh? I gonna die like I live: Like a failure to those who depend on me..." Heart little by little feel his mind disapear. "Maybe this is for the better...I never was able actually to save anything...my friends will be better without me...Maybe my fate lie in Giratina realm...." He begin to close his eyes. "My friends...I sorry..."

He begin to fall in the bottom...until something grab his hand.

Is this the way a ArcHeart accept fate? My, my. You should be more stuborn than that.

Heart then open his eyes, and see a light. When he awake he was around a white place. There was nothing around. No buildings, no Deoxys. Pratically nothing.

In his front there was a person however. It was a old man, but it was from weak. It has a deep grey air, with a tan skin. He have clothes with a desigh who mix black, white, bule and red. He carry a medallion in his neck, with the symbol of the ArcHeart family. He also have a scar in his face.

Heart reconize right away, but still couldnt believe in his eyes. "Grand...father...."

Yes. The person right to him is his grandfather. Blazer ArcHeart. The disease Grand Master of the ArcHeart Clan, die many years ago. "Took you too long to figure out my grandson, hah."

"Wait. You die a long time ago. Impaled by a sword when our clan..."

"Yes...I know...I am dead." Said the oldest ArcHeart.

"That mean...that I am dead too..."

"No. You are not. At least not yet. But you still have a job to do. You need to help your friends."

"How?! That army of Deoxys is almost infinity! Me and my friends is almost defeat! And we not even face Primal Deoxys yet! I...Failed again grandfather. Like I failed with you and my mother...and with my brother too."

Heart then begin to cry. Tears of impotence. Of utherly and complete defeat. For once more failed to those who is precious to him. To the new family he form with his friends. With brotherhood he formed with Nathan, his best friend. To the person he can consider close as a brother, Terra. To the person he consider a older wise sister, Shiva. And to Spira, who like him, it is a person away from its home.

His grandfather, grab his shoulders and balance him to awake from his turpor. "Listen to me my son. While the battle seem impossible, you must continue to go forward. You not always win, and some battles seems hopeless. But this is what make humans so strong. Because we not give up. No matter how much despair we felt. No matter much alone we feel. There always a light in the end of the tunnel. This is what make the ArcHeart survive for such long time. And thats why we end. Everything is a cicle my grandson. I was the last Grand Master from a time  to be left behind. The old cycle end with me, and the new one begin with you."

Heart was left speechless with such words, still feeling the weigh of guilty in his back. "Heart. Its not your fall for what happen to us. It was something beyond your control. Beyond any control. You become such a great young man. And I know you and your friends can defeat such strong enemy. You make me proud." Than his big and strong Grandfather gave his son a last hug. Heart then feel other people embrace him. His mother. And his young brother.

"Mom...Angelo..."

"My son. My dear Joseph...I should have done so much for you my sweet child. You were alone for such long time...But you find great people around you. Your friends who love you, and give you strengh."

"Big bro. We are happy and okay, so dont worry about us okay? You have a new family. Your Pokemons and friends...And they need to beat bad Mon from space. I know you can do it. You are always my hero."

Heart begin to cry, and then more people appear around him. Many faces he know. His clan, who die many time ago. They are here...they all here. Giving them theyre strengh...they hopes...and the future to him. A hand then touch his shoulder. He see who was...it was his dad. With sadness and regret in his eyes. "My son....I give you so much suffering...and did unforgive things to you. I know you cannot forgive me for what I done...but please...dont give up now. Stand up, and continue fighting. Be better than us. Give our clan a new begining."

After saying these words, his family and clan gathered around. "You right. All of you. I not gonna die. Not yet. My friends need me. This region need me. Not because I am a ArcHeart. Not because of lineage or something like that. Not because I want to be remember as a hero. But because I am me. My name is Heart. The PUNisher. And no one else."

His family and clan smile to him, and then they close theyre eyes, and they begin to become golden flames. They form a sun, until the flame shrink until it they become something solid: A egg. Moltres Egg. It levitate a bit in the air, until it firm come to Heart hand. "Lets go then Moltres. We have a world to save."

Heart then awake. Feeling a lot of pain. He stand up. He use a Hyper Potion in himself. He use a Revive on Gustav and use a Hyper Potion on him too, to patch those wounds. "Gustav. You did your best. You too Lancelot. You atacks and defenses was essencial to our survival. Rest for now you two. This war is far from over."

Heart return both the Sword and the Cannon crab back to their Pokeballs. Heart look close to him, and see the Egg Incubator of Moltres close to him, glowing with energy. "You were giving me strengh isnt that right? Thank you Moltres. I not going to disapoint you. We gonna fight this menace together!"

Heart has flames in his body, to signafy his fighting spirit. He summon Quetzal and Percival, his two Steel Pokemon. From its arm, he use the Key Ring, and summon for the first time in his life, the power of Mega Evolution to make his loyal friend, Quetzal, reach the next level of his power. Its gonna work? Thats something he is gambling.

@Iron, could you describe the Mega Form of Delta Steelix? After such roleplay of mine, I think this deserve a cool description of the evolution.

That's extremely fortunate, as Shiva's certain that if those Clones would have picked up on her plan, they'd make sure to foil it beforehand with everything they've got. Once more she's thankecomes twice as wide ful for the Shield and it's lifesaving abilities, figuratively and literally, luckily a Darkmon's thoughts are too black to be detected by the mind of Psychicmon, legendary or not.

Shiva's smirking innerly as the reddish powder from her butterwolfly fills the air, and that smirk becomes even wider as the Clones directly fall for it. It does not really drop even as Shiva feels that obvious fear Yena's displaying rather vividly, but causes her to call out encouragingly towards him: "You've got this, I've got your back, I would NOT let you perform that move if I wouldn't know what I'm doing, dear one! Trust me on that one, follow your pack leader's orders, and you'll see THAT WE CAN MAKE IT!!" Hesitation is Yena's first careful response, but almost immediately afterwards he bristles his fur, spreads his wings wide and displays an agreeing howl - this special Mightyena will do everything for the delicate girl that came across him on that day on that Route, for the one who evolved him and made him into that strong and scary canine he is now.

Quote:Gallade steps in between Grid, Deoxys, and Yena as the weakened Attack Formes move in with rage burning in their normally docile eyes.

Shiva raises her head to watch Mesprit fly, alloiws herself to be distracted for only a split second to be re-energized with hope and determination. That strong bond between psychic knight and young historian doesn't suprise her but nicely adds to that hope, what DOES catch her a little off-guard is that massive(?) bond Gallade seemingly holds for HER. She wasn't aware that Gallade holds so much for her, for none else but her who had that many issues and arguments with their Master. Whether she understands where this strong bond comes from she's not entirely sure, she feels like this bond is there for a reason, for an important reason, and no disagreement could have snapped that.

A short glance over to Nathan then to Gallade as he moves in to SLICE those Clones in his fury, and Shiva's mind and senses are imbuided with a certain meaningfulness. Also thankfulness, she even casts a small smile towards both, doesn't care that it gets lost in the heat of the ongoing fight.

In the end, she doesn't need to know or understand right away, but she does feel accomplished, chosen and confirmed in her strength. Faint words of thanks are whispered that only Shiva is aware of.

Quote:Crunch 2
(4)(2)(4)(5)
(4)(5)(1)(4)(4) I guess they'd shrug off only the first SE damage. That's 5 dmg.
Shiva follows that up by catching a Deoxys arm in a Pokeball. It's one of the ones Feraligatr tore to pieces. Looks like the smaller chunks can be treated as objects. But you heard from Nurse Joy that a big enough piece can still reform into a complete Deoxys clone.

"YESSSS, well done, let those invaders FEEL your teeth without a single drop of hercy, they deserve NONE!!" Every landed Crunch of her butterwolfy allures similar praise, it's highly satisfying for Shiva to see him attacking those Clones with some success, and seeing that Yena suffers not a single scratch as he trotos over to her, adds massively. It would be considered cruel if there'd be ordinary foes instead of particular alien creatures that bring nothing but descruction and depression.

In between 'catching' that Deoxys Finger and re-focusing on the ongoing fight, Shiva takes a moment to ruffle Yena's black neck fur affectionately, then lets him leap back into action once more. The Pokeball she packs away, now she has one finger and a piece of an arm of a Deoxys Clone in seperate Pokeballs - What she'll do with them I don't know either, I just thought she'd totally do that. Maybe flash-freezing it and kill the DNA within it to keep it as a trophy, or donating it to science.

Quote:Shiva is immune, and granting a bit of cover to Spira and Terra, enough that they don't take damage.

Haha, just moments ago she felt blessed by and thankful for the Shield's coverage, her fingers clench around it and hold onto it with everything - but not with fear, but with determination. Every fibre of her body literally screams 'You're not bringing down the wielder of the ancient Shield, you abomination of space!!!

The scenery of bodies everywhere - including of friends - is gruesome and one Shiva won't forget that easily, but if she's being honest Real Deoxys' gruesome 'experimenting' on Tepic was worse. THAT'S the image that'll haunt her. FLying members of the League arriving distracts her from letting the current scenery burn into her mind for later flashbacks of posttraumatic stress disorder, even if they get down very quickly - BUT, it causes her wanting to keep going, feeling even more now that they must make it and win this battle.

Quote:"The ends justify the means. Sorry, Shiva." Cosh moves the Shielding from Yena to Nathan. Yena stumbles immediately in broken glass, but doesn't yet know what could happen.

Shiva raises her voice rather audibly in response: "You don't have to apologize for that Cosh, I DID gave you permission to move the Shield's protection around if you see fit after all, just don't do so randomly and without a good reason!" Yes, no hard feelings about that, but her expression darkens a little as Yena nevertheless keeps going. She fears that the Clones will now let him pay for fooling them with irritating powder.

Quote:The first Defense Deoxys rushes headlong into Nathan.

This is what she'd call 'a good reason', for example. Only barely she makes it to not loose balance from that massive blow against her shield arm, just as fast as that blow came she's back into a stable position again.

Quote:Kelda is completely panicking. "I don't know what to do! I don't know what to do!"

Just as she did towards Cosh, Shiva calls out to Kelda now. "Listen to him please, calm down again, please don't do the same mistake of doubting yourself like I did too often!! Your survived the Skull Ruins, and we ALL SHALL SURVIVE THIS FIGHT AS WELL if we just ccordinate and combine our strengths!!!"

Quote:In Attack Forme, Deoxys still bears a grudge against Yena. Spira is also caught in the splash.
Zap Cannon 5
(5)(5)(4)
Yena drops to 1hp instantly.
Spira faints and takes lethal damage.

Oi, THAT'S the blow of repaying that Shiva feared Yena would suffer, she can barely watch and the yelp as the Zap Cannon hits him pains Shiva's ears more than normally.

What hits her more than that however is that this attack didn't hit just her butterwolfy. Terror washes over Shiva as she watches Spira faint, it feels like time has slowed to increase the cruelty of this happening. "Nononono, NOT ON MY WATCH!!" (҂ `з´ ) In a quick movement she leaps over to him and gprotectively holds the Shield over them both for the seconds she needs to use a Revive on him and pull him back onto his feet."C'mooooon, you shall not die off, we need your strength here! That attack hit you hard, but it wasn't directly targeted on you - LUCKILY it wasn't." It may be not super-obvious on her now, but Shiva's incredibly relieved that it hasn't.

She gifts him a small and reassuring smile, then heads back into action among all the chaos and destruction, her wrath fueled by Deoxys's willingness to attack Trainers just because. "Oh you're feeling good for assaulting us directly and knocking us out, DO YOU? Well, TOO BAD, screw you for thinking you'd get away scot-free from that act!!"

Both Yena and Nightshade are recalled into the safety of their respective Pokeballs, the Expert Belt Yena lost is pciked up and packed away, and from the two newly-tossed ones two new fighters for Shiva manifest: One is a furry and fierly mage aka Delphox, the other is Kyuu IF there's a positve answer to the mechanical question I proposed here. If what I asked if not possible or allowed, it's a massive chunk of a panda instead: It's Pangoro, and he's RAGING to show these Clones that he's not okay with what they're doing here!

Spira, you can go ahead and summon a Pokemon since you'll be revived first thing.

Heart, you don't have time to use all those healing items, but you do have enough time to heal yourself at the start of the round.

Delta Steelix is just short of the 5 Loyalty that is one mark of a strong bond between trainer and Pokemon, but all the Pokemon involved in battling Deoxys have the potential to gain some Loyalty or even happiness. At the cost of 1 Will point, you can fast forward and claim that 1 Loyalty a bit early.

Heart's ancestral spirits roil within the Mega Keystone. Steelix's eyes turn blue - that's the first sign that it's working. Some of the stony fletching that randomly populates Steelix's back come detached, become fluffier, begin glowing, and start spinning in orbit around the length of Steelix's body. He becomes much heavier as you watch. Energy spirals around him in many colors, and splinters of stone go flying off in all directions as Steelix launches high into the air. Steelix gives a Braviary's cry as the transformation takes hold. Smaller beaklike protuberances jut out from its jaw, and jetlike wings suddenly appear in several places along its side. This, coupled with a few small engines, help it to glide despite the increased weight. It falls much faster in this form, and contains much more rage.

Mega Delta Steelix also has some characteristics of the dragonfly, such as its massive bite force and snapping jaws. It is prone to flicking down at the ground with its tail on occasion, dragging up rare minerals and taking a moment's rest from flight. It looks a lot like a dragonfly laying her eggs when it does this. Its body goes vertical, and then it may launch itself into the sky or slam down on opponents.

The air is quite literally now filled with the buzzing of many bees, the chittering of numerous small Bug pokemon, the sounds of countless individuals who have all been called to defend their queen and their home.  It'd be hard for this battle to get any noisier.

Princess crosses her arms and smirks alongside Nathan, a menacing look in her eyes as she and her Swarm exert their Pressure.  Those who dare attack her and her subjects' home and harm her adviser and friend shall know the wrath of both her and her subjects!

"Thank you oh so much for gathering so many Bug pokemon in one place, Deoxys.  We couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to bring out her Majesty's full power.  Now then..."

Nathan points the Sword at the Deoxys Clones, and now its Princess's arm that begins to glow as she points it at her targets as well!

"...it's time to finish you off!  Attack!"

"Terra, have Arete follow up on the Defense Deoxys if they survive this!  Cosh, get ready to swap the Sword's effects to someone else if the clones are still standing after that!  We need to hit them "

Princess points at the clones, commanding the many Bugs to launch an organized, en masse attack!

Spread Attack Order 1
Acc: 15 - 5 = 10 D6
Dmg: 1-2 PD
Eff: High Crit

Fury Cutter x4 (if there are still Deoxys clones standing when Princess's turn comes around again)
Acc: 14 - 6/7/8/9 = 9/8/7/6/5 D6
Dmg: 1-2 PD if Sword powered, 8 D6 base if not
Eff: Multi Action

If all the clones are KOed when Princess gets her next turn, she'll spend her remaining actions organizing the Swarm in other ways!

Spread Heal Order
Acc: 11 base
Eff: Basic Heal for 6 allies

Spread Defend Order
Acc: 15 base
Eff: +1 Defense for 6 allies

Charizard, meanwhile, has orders to burn the Clones to a crisp and incinerate their remains!  Simple, but probably still effective!

Heat Wave x5
Acc: Same as Fury Cutter's
Dmg: 5 + 3 + STAB = 9 D6 base
Eff: Burn 1 (1)

Nathan uses a Super Potion on himself to fully restore his HP, and has another one ready for Charizard or Princess should they need it.  Should neither require any healing, he'll use a Revive on Grid instead.
