Hope the break serves you well, Spirit. Thanks for playing with us all this time, and I'm sure you'll be back in time to challenge the Elite Four if you like.

Alright, I have Nathan's main plan in reaction to what Terra's attempting, @Lord Windos.  Gonna see how it works out, I suppose...

Nice! Well, let's see how that turns out, and who's desires will succeed the other!

Quote:In this diced one, the goal was to require teamwork to win, and I think that goal was met although it would have been better if you'd had four artifacts from the start. (+ the frozen roar once party size grew to five).

It was intended to be an encounter where HP wasn't everything, but maybe that's hard to pull off in a Pokemon game where we expect them to be everything

Teamwork goal was definitely met since this wouldn't have been possible at all without it due to how the Artifacts were split up (even if it wasn't optimally due to both circumstance and not knowing all the little quirks of each item), but I definitely still got the impression that we had to do X amount of damage to beat Deoxys.  Guess my estimation of having to do around 30 PDD to Deoxys to beat it wasn't too far off, regen or no.

Quote:But, is there something meaniful to continue the campaigh? I mean...we complete the goal of beat the final boss. Is there something left to continue?

There's still the Elite 4 and Bo left.  I have a few ideas for adventures in mind to help prepare for that.  And then after that's done, we'll probably be able to be a little more freeform with the stories we want to follow when the campaign truly goes diceless. I definitely have some ideas for that (they're still secret, though!)

I already said I'm going to give it my all, and that's what I'm sticking with, @Spiritmon.  The easiest paths aren't always the best solutions.

And still have Moltres Egg to hatch. But even if it hatch, what I gonna use against it? A ratata? There isn't any greater apocalyptic menace to deal with for God sake. At least not at the same level as Deoxys. Anything who comes now it is pointless. If there was a good to Moltres to born was now.

And you guys get awesome items. You, Phantom and Mika get amazing artefacts. Windos get a Legendary Pokemon who can always evolve.

Me? A vuvuzela. Fire Powers who barely cause any damage to Deoxys or any Pokemon in this campaign who can only light a campfire. And Moltres Egg who can't even fight.

We barely did anything against Deoxys...Aside from debuffs, we were not able to deal any damage against it. A Mega Launcher Dark Pulse, and didn't did anything! I was hyped this fight could be better, but it was more like: "Leave Nathan with his sword artefact have the most amazing spotlight, while everyone else just tickle Deoxys skin." That was the taste this fight leave in my mouth.

That I was completely useless in the final battle, a battle who Nathan, Shiva and Mika artefact wielders could done alone. If Heart removed from the fight, he could barely make any difference.

So yeah. I hate the ending of the fight. Hate to be left out. Hate to not have made anything significant in this final battle against the final boss of this campaign. I hate Nathan being the protagonist and received all the honors, when we players should be all treat equals. And I hate even more you and Windos fighting over this Cosh run or not about it, when you could resolve this with a simple dice roll like I suggest!

But you know what? I don't care anymore. You two fight as much you want. Fight, break legs and arms because of it. I don't care. Just finished this already so I can forget this Deoxys disappointing ever existed.

Good night! *Spirit brutal slam the door to sleep*

Nathan would have been dead a hundred times over without all four of you. If you don't understand that, it's on you.

Wise words I agree with, mates. I'm always up for compromise, but sometimes things just don't work out like that. Tis the way things are at times.

On to other things, like Iron said I suppose we both got what we wanted out of this: Terra defended Cosh successfully until they surrendered and freed him of his deal, and Nathan got his revenge against Cosh/brought him to task and JUSTICE for all the ill deeds he's committed. Hopefully your as happy with things as I am....? I imagine Nathan's not going to be too well disposed towards Terra for a long time for the stunt he tried to pull, though, but I imagine that feeling will be somewhat mutual between our charas, and we'll work things out eventually.

That, I agree with wholeheartedly.

Even though what those without a big name Artifact was limited, the fight against the Clones definitely mattered too, and you were definitely able to make some dents in that.

Plus, even a hyper offensive pokemon team needs a little support to work properly, after all.  Any team is only as good as its overall strategies, and pure offense isn't usually a good strategy in the long term.
