(Two Days? That'll be on Day 86 then if the number of the Day in the first post of this thread is correct. I'll find something for Shiva to do in the meantime, or if everyone will agree we could handwave forward to it.)


Shiva is very delighted that Dagny agrees to get them a clearance to visit Garlicburg without asking questions or trying to dissuade them. She's even flattered all silently and can't help but to blush a tiny little bit over the steely Gym Leader believing that the party's strong enough to handle the powerful Pokemon out there on the island!~ "Thank you Dagny, many many thanks! I'll eagerly await your clearance and will make sure to make the trip worth it." Towards the advice concerning how to behave at that curious place and towards the military people there, Shiva confidently nods to show she has understood. She'll remember Dagny's words and take them to heart. She shivers over 'slay or grievously wound people or Pokemon', being unpleasantly being reminded on Deoxy Prime's 'experiements' and the sight of that Tepig.

One things sparks her interest though, she frowns strangely and there's a certain bit of curiosity within her voice as she speaks up once more. "'Dangerous experiements', you're saying... Dagny, are you able or allowed to tell me whether any of them are having to do with....that extraordinaire Nuclear Type? When I hear the former, I can't hep but think of the latter."

"Oh, and.... It'd probably be a good thing to take the Hauberk with us towards Garlicburg, just in case we'll run into any, uhm.... 'bad' situations. One of us who'll come to the island would do good to wear it.... Wouldn't you agree, Nathan?" She throws a look over to him.

(Isn't it still Day 83 right now?)

When Shiva turns to look at Nathan, he's staring at her, wide eyed.

"...uh...yeah, that'd be good...uhm...why are you asking about the...and how do you...?"

He doesn't finish either question since Shiva caught him completely off guard with that question she just asked Dagny.  It shouldn't be hard to infer that he's referring to the Nuclear type, though.

(Yes. It depends: I'm interpreting 'two days' as 'two full days' = in-game Day 84 and 85, the clearance would then come in on in-game Day 86. Now I'm unsure though... Can you please clarify, Iron?)

Oh....~ Shiva has to hold back some chuckles, Nathan's look at her was just too amusing. The smirk she's got on her face is one that would totally fit to one of her sly and clever Fairy Types. "Suprised? (･ω<)☆ When we were first here, I was researching something at the Telperion Extension located in this city and found out that only here you're able to study this special Type. Also met a student of this Extension, we had a short fun Pokemon Battle and he told me what he knew about that Type and its unique Eeveelution." This was the moment Shiva set herself a personal goal of obtaining or evolving one, she's been working on it since then.

Clearance would be ready on Day 85.

"Nuclear type? That experiment was phased out. Too dangerous even for the military. There was only one Pokemon whose personality and body could handle the effects of radiation - Eevee. There are still a few Nucleon there, but the fragile Pokemon is prone to health problems and there aren't many left."

Shiva's listening with lots of interest to what Dagny tells. LOTS of interest, and immediately she's feeling sympathy for the radiating Eeveelution. "There aren't many left, you're saying? Oh...." She's becoming sad, looks to the ground for short as those words his the natural fae enthusiast hard. "I bet they deserve a good home, like those poor Pokemon of Juni... If the experiments are phased out though.... I, ehm...." She carefully mumbles something about wishing to give one a proper place with her. Her gaze towards Dagny is a questioning and interrogative one, as if she's silently asking whether this would be possible. "*gaps* Do you know of a 'Water Password', Dagny?"

"Water Password? No, I don't. That sounds like something to do with the Water Scimitars, but although I have every one of their digital files, that's not the kind of thing they'd ever write down. I have documents detailing a few of their rituals and things... Porygon, check if any could be passwords."

The little Steel type dives into her computer bank and comes back to shake his head.

Water Rituals - sounds like fun and something Shiva would enjoy. "Humm, thanks for checking, Dagny - and yes, I too strongly believe it has to do with the Water Scims. Is Juni allowed to be visited in jail to ask? I have no idea whether she'd cooporate or tell - but maybe it would be worth a try?"

"No. She, and the other powerful Water Scimitars, have too much influence over minds. They're in confinement. The Earth Scimitars can be visited under carefully controlled circumstances."

I'll see how things will go at that island, maybe and hopefully I'll find hints along the way." Still, after this talk with Dagny Shiva's feeling like she has gotten a little closer to her own exemplar of that curious nucear Eeveelution!~

I was kinda feeling that there are also Fire Scimitars or such." That's just something that's interesting Shiva. It's also the last thing she's wishing to ask Dagny, she'll encourage Nathan then to talk about his matters.

"Just the two that anyone has ever heard of. I would certainly know about any other factions. The Earth and Water Scimitars don't take their names from the four classical elements, but from their philosophies and, to a lesser extent, the typing of their favorite 'spells' aka Pokemon. Earth is rigid and forceful, water is free-flowing and subtle."

"...be careful if you're going to get involved with Nuclear pokemon, Shiva..."

Nathan knows what kind of danger they pose.  The kind of problems the radiation they emit can cause.  While he generally agrees those Nucleon should probably be looked after, he also understands that the type is inherently dangerous to even merely be in the general vicinity of.

He's kinda glad the majority of Nuclear pokemon are being strictly regulated in Tandor.  At least that region is equipped to handle the volatile type in several ways.  Though now he wonders if Sheldon was discussing these 'experiments' with Dagny...(not that he's going to ask).

Water Password?  Earth Password?  Nathan's honestly a little lost when Shiva discusses those with Dagny.  This is the first he's heard of them...

"...and what's that Earth Password for, Shiva?"

On the topic of what Nathan needed to talk to Dagny about, it's a few things.

- "Briefly back on the topic of Genesect...could you tell Ventus that we're going after DIVE and the fossil?  He'll want to know.  And maybe he'll want to help, too.  I'm just...not entirely sure if he has the time or wants to talk to me right now..."

- Second topic is accounting for the people who had gone missing in the Skull Ruins, and confirming whether they're alive or dead.  "My dad wasn't the only person we found in the Kadabra Chambers.  They seem to be leftovers of one of Deoxys's experiments.  The place is filled with capture webs made of crystallized MSC.  Any pokemon that get caught in them are trapped and deregistered from their pokeballs.  And any humans that get caught...get encased in crystals and sloooooowly turned into Kadabra.  There's a little over two dozen other Kadabra down there that we faced, and I've got a list of names thanks to Solomon.  If there's a missing persons list for the Skull Ruins, I'd like to compare the information to see if we can figure out who's down there still.  Could be that we could reunite some families and friends, though I'll have to talk with Heart about reversing the transformations."  Nathan will show Dagny the list of names.  "...oh, and that one at the end, Boots Malone?  Old skeleton now, and he was the only one I found any kind of identification on.  Seemed to specialize in Fighting types from what I found on his pokedex.  And after what happened with my dad's Machamp, I'm fairly confident the Kadabra down there kill any and all Fighting types that aren't also part Psychic type.  They didn't seem to mind Gallade at all.  Not sure if other types weak to Psychic get that bised violence or not."
