[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

No, you can't grind XP from that, since you are guaranteed to win, but you can do it.

If you want a battle for roleplay or bonding purposes, we'll just collaboratively describe the outcome of the battle, like you just said.

I'll either do Encounter lists or less formal lists of your options.

@Iron, can I take a break from the Skull Ruins campaign for a time? After all this battles with Deoxys, I think I want take a time outside of this game. I still gonna play a little inMt. Coronet, but after playing so much time here, I want have a break.

Can't say for certain what they'd do if that news is brought to their attention, seeing as Iron has almost total control over them by this point, but if I have any say in how the eccentric researcher would react I'd say he'd probably drop whatever he was doing to help out, regardless if he's exactly ready to do so. Any and all things Genesect is CRITICALLY SERIOUS BUSINESS to Ven, and even though he's mostly passed the torch on that to Nathan to take care of, if he's invited to lend some aid, by golly gee would he not hesitate to help!

That, and he did promise to meet up with Shiva after everything was said and done with DEOXYS PRIME (albeit nobody except maybe Terra would know about it, since that message was missed by everyone), and he has reason enough to reunite with the group sometime in the future to check up on them post DP Fight and get a progress/AA report from Terra (And inevitably discover they got their own baby Genesect).

Honestly, I'm not quite sure how to handle Ven coming back to the party, no matter how briefly or temporarily. Its been a long time since I've handled him, and much has probably changed/developed for him offscreen I've not been privy too (to my relief), so integrating and playing with him might be......tricky. Iron? Mates?

Maybe we should just summarize the things he does rather than RP them. You'd get burned out pretty quick playing two characters for any length of time. He could just work in the lab on Genesect behind the scenes.

Hmm....that sounds like a great solution, so let's go with that for the time being! Summerization is a much easy way to get a chara's points and actions across, even if its not the most interesting way of doing so! And you know, I find it pretty funny and ironic if Terra ends up hiring Ventus to help him research/modify Arete along with other tasks, as that'll certainly complicate or muddle the working relationship they'll have!

With your permission, though, I'd like to actually RP a few scene with him, namely when he first reunites with the group, and any private scenes with Shiva. I don't plan on having Terra really RP in the first instance (aside from a few things, like introducing him and a few short comments), and the later would only be hurt by summerization and is pretty much a dialogue between him and his somewhat estranged girlfriend, so is that fine?

Also, you don't have to inform me what Ven's been getting up to at any point while's he's been researching/working behind the scenes, as quite frankly I think that's a bit too much to deal with while the game is still technically ongoing. Maybe after the campaign is *done* I'll be curious enough to ask what the hecky he's been up too outside my control, but not now!

Okay, I have a little bit of time before my volunteer job starts, so assuming Spira's battle with Angela hasn't been finished offscreen (fine by me if it has) heres the cliffnotes version of the orders/ whats next for spira until i'm able to more reliably come back:
Froslass evades next attack from a-ninetails and counters w/ sheer cold (more chip via weather ball if ice types are immune to sheer cold) if she faints, toya'll be sent out to fire punch it into oblivion. Spira's third poke will be noire.
regardless of how the battle ends, Spira will tell heart where to find angela and ghost world travel to sinnoh to see leigh in the present (where i'd like him to stay until i can come back)
