I'm assuming that everyone in Team K is sticking together unless otherwise notified. *rolls* Kogeki doesn't immediately recognize the serpentine pokemon in question. The details are too vague, as while there is better lighting here, it still isn't great. It doesn't look like a pokemon native to Tandor, though. (Some player knowledge can still transfer to character knowledge, though. If you as a player can figure out what the pokemon is on your own, then Kogeki can possibly do so as well)

Soooo dear Karen... *cue charming smile" ...Are ya able to tell whether this sea serpent's more of the hostile type or more of a peaceful type?~ D'pendin' on THAT we can think further what 't do ' bout it." He also brings out lovely Octavia to double-check on this creature's general nature. Karen peeks over the edge of the pier, trying to get a read on the pokemon. "...uuuummmm...it's honestly hard to tell. I don't think it's noticed us yet..." Octavia's finding it difficult as well. She can't use her ribbons to sense the pokemon's feelings because it's too deep underwater for her to touch it. That, and she isn't yet certain if she wants to disturb the tranquil, still water in the first place...

"...well, they do obviously look a little on edge...Sally, Scizor, you stay here. Let me go talk to them first." Both bipedal pokemon nod, and Lucas slowly and carefully approaches Espeon. He purposefully scrapes one of his shoes across the ground to make a loud noise. Espeon's ears perk up at the sound, and it slowly and quietly turns to look at Lucas. The 18 year old raises his hands to show he's not holding any weapons or pokeballs, and carefully asks, "Is it fine if I come closer? I'd like to help." Espeon nudges the woman, who stirs and tries to move, but is finding it difficult to do so. The eeveelution then looks back at Lucas, a pleading look in its eyes, then turns back to watch the water. Lucas quickly and quietly walks over, and starts taking stock of the situation. Soon after, he waves to everyone else to indicate they can come closer. (which I assume Randolph does when prompted by Lucas) From the shoreline, the lake looks even bigger. It looks like getting across it is going to take some time. The water is perfectly still and undisturbed, but Espeon is watching the lake as if waiting for something to happen. It seems really tense. As for the orange haired woman, there's a few more significant details that can be pointed out now. She's wearing a light blue, long sleeved jacket over a purple top, a necklace with a yellow moon pendant, a white skirt, long black socks, and pink boots. She looks like she's in a lot of pain, too, and can barely move. "...ooooowwww...the...water...it's...in the water...black..." She winces, unable to complete her sentence. Lucas immediately turns his attention to the water as well once he hears that. "...that doesn't sound good...it'd certainly explain why Espeon seems so on edge. Randolph, Scizor, you help Espeon keep an eye on her. I'm going to see if I can spot whatever it is that's hiding in this lake. Let's go, Sally." Lucas and Sally start patrolling the shoreline, leaving Randolph and Scizor with the woman and Espeon.

"W...what's wrong my dear, you prefer to not meddle with this lake? Well, ya're usually none who's acting afraid or scared, but if ya'd rather stay out 'n this case, I'll let ya." BUT he keeps Octavia outside aka doesn't withraw her into her respective Ball, just in case. Quote:Karen peeks over the edge of the pier, trying to get a read on the pokemon. Karen receives a very thankful and charming look from Kee before he returns to STAAAAAARRRREE into the water and at this unknown Pokemon. "Ya say they haven't noctived us yet, have they? Well, then I'm gonna MAKE 'em." He rummages a bit in his stuff, asks Octavia to summon a Light Screen protecting him and herself, then drops a handful of dried berries and ordinary Pokemon Food into the water.

The heavier food begins to sloowwwwly sink... ...and then the shadow of the serpentine pokemon takes immediate notice, its tail scales glittering in the light. It begins swimming towards the food very quickly... ...and then the food disappears as soon as the pokemon reaches it, bursting from the surface of the lake in the process (and getting everyone wet as well)! It's very obvious what pokemon it is now that it isn't hiding in the depths any more. And it's a beautiful, breathtaking sight as it leaps out of the water. Back into the water it goes, as it twists and turns gracefully, reorienting itself. Eventually, it resurfaces, more gently this time, its head on eye level with the strangers who have decided to pay its domain a visit. And then everyone in Team K hears a feminine voice in their heads. Well, I don't get very many visitors here. Welcome to my lake, travelers. What brings you to my humble abode? Oh, and thank you for the snack, by the way. It wasn't much, but I was feeling a little peckish, so it should tide me over for now. The pokemon nods to Kee in thanks. Karen stares at the pokemon, her jaw hanging, awestruck. Did...did that pokemon just 'talk' the same way that Sally can?!

If the later isn't going to be flaying anyone's mind, he doesn't have much reason to stay away from them. He's a bit unhappy that Lucas just up and leaves the mysterious duo in his hands to go patrol the lake for whatever got the ginger lass good, as he'd have liked to have a say in the matter, but he doesn't object. He just barely manage to conquer that Tyrantrum without it demolishing and/or eating a third to half his team, so a break from potentially harrowing and/or high octane Encounters is an opportunity he'll take with both hands! Of course, that saddles him with the implicit duty of assessing and treating this woman's condition, something he's not eager to do. Partly because of the potential of setting off their empathetic companion while he looks after her, but mainly because he consider himself the last person to assign to the medical care of someone. He got his doctorate in geology, not tradition medicine, and he definitely doesn't have the right attitude for any kind of bedside care, damn it! Still, someone has to do it, and unfortunately it has to be him this time. Taking one last look in the boy hero's direction, the bristly blacksmith closes his eyes and lets out a low, quiet *sigh* , and turns to incapacitated woman, walking over and crouching down right beside her. He then looks over to the Espeon, his expression cautiously serious, catching it's attention with a *Snap!* of his fingers if necessary. "Espeon, I'll be looking over your Trainer, partner, whatever, and doing what I can to treat her injuries, so please don't give me a killer headache if they become vocal or pass out while I do so. If ya have any grievances with how I care for her, save them until after I've done what I can and we're all out of danger." With that calmly and politely said, Ran will attempt a Medical Check on on the Orange Haired Woman to access her injuries/condition, spending 6 XP to increase his Medicine Specially by 1 as he wracks his brain for what little medical Knowledge he's gained over the years. Roll should be Insight + Knowledge + Medicine, or 10D6 Base Dice total.

Medical Assessment: (6)(5)(3)(4)(6)(3)(4)(2)(2)(1) 5 successes. Great! Randolph remembers more about basic medicine than he would first think, given how many work related injuries (and a few not so work related ones) he and his coworkers have suffered through in the past. Fortunately, it seems this woman only has a few bruised ribs, much like someone who'd just been punched just a tad to hard in a late night bar fight taken a little too far. She's badly hurt (has 1 HP remaining), but she isn't mortally wounded, and nothing seems to be broken. A Super Potion would help accelerate the healing of the majority of the damage.

Kogeki do could hear the voice of the feminine pokemon in his head. For a minute he was though the light serpent was another Pokemon...But when the Pokemon reveal herself, it was a psychic Milotic.
Kogeki was able to hide disapoitment in his voice since he dont want to sound rude towards the lady Pokemon. "So...you can talk? Or rather, you are psychic me thinks. Are you...A Primal Milotic Pokemon? Or at least a psychic Milotic? And also...sorry if I look scare for a minute. I though you were...another Pokemon."

He does so by apply one of his Super Potion, and (if he has them) carefully banding her mid-section with a chemical heating pad to help ease the Pain. Bruised ribs hurt like a son of a bitch, so a little extra measure like that goes a long way to getting better. Afterward, he'd gently shake the O.H.W.'s shoulder and speak to her, trying to rouse her out of the trauma induced stupor she was in once the medicine kicks in. "Lass? Lass? You feeling any better now? Can ya tell us what laid you out, like a wet blanket outside on a Sunny Day?"
