[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Aww that's pretty cool! Hmm, but I think before I'll have Shiva go for the remaining Gym Badges I kinda wish to head to Garlicburg and travel through Earthstar Forest all by herself to have aaaall the time to explore and search for loot and unique Pokemon there. It's so convenient that with the Ancient Shield she can dare to do stuff that she'd never consider to do without. ^^

Those Gym battles will get him prepared for The Garilburg and Merspirt quests too, so they have a double useful purpose!

Those two Gym Leaders would be Howl (located in Elanor) and Angela (located in either the Nature Preserve or Safari Zone).

The problem with fighting Angela is she's one of the three toughest Gym Leaders in the region (the others being Tanuki and Dagny), and her battle will have to be rolled as a result iirc.

Slight Spoiler, though: I'm planning to do a battle in the future that will likely have to be rolled as well.  Doing those two fights at around the same time would be fairly efficient time wise, I think.

Thanks for the info, mate! Its just been awhile since I've seriously paid any attention to the Game Thread, so their names slipped my mind.

Fine by me, since I LOVE actual battle mechanics! I guess I'll do Howl and Archilles in game tomorrow and save her for later then (Or Howl and Botanville's Gym Leader, if I can do Archilles after you in game today) when you get around to doing....whatever big fight you're planning.

Trust me, it'll be a treat Wink

Don't think he knows about Angela's Dunseraph, though! Also, I know Terra's Intimidation wouldn't work on Nathan, but I pointed it out to highlight how seriously he was taking the whole thing about their talk with his dad, FYI)

Ack, you're right.  It's been awhile. Lemme edit that. Thank you for the reminder, @Lord Windos.
Edit: Edited.

Though maybe Terra might be surprised that Nathan knows about Tanuki's already?

Your welcome, mate!

Yeah, he'd be surprised, but I think the scene with him would play out the same, as he wouldn't think Nathan knowing Tanuki had a Dunseraph was anything to take note of beyond them point it out in a surprised manner. Unless you think Terra should have a different reaction?

It'd probably play out similarly, yeah.  Tanuki told Terra her Dunseraph was supposed to be a secret, right?

No, she didn't. She just said she had one to Terra, and that she didn't use them in her Gym Battles after he finished his with her. I'll have to triple check to see if she alluded to it being secret or not, but if not I suppose she just figured he wouldn't say anything about it unless he was talking with somebody else in the know about Dunseraph, given how stoic and reserved he typically is to non-friends and special people outside of battles.

Hmm....then I will have Terra do three of Gym Battles against Archilles and Dark type and Fairy Gym Leaders (forgot their names, sorry!)  in-game Tomorrow, just to get them out of the way and not have to worry about them as I do the groundwork and progressing for Terra's lab, Legendary projects (and deals with Mega Syrentide to help manage/start them thereof), and keeping him updated on Cosh's Legal case/status. If Archiles can do another Gym Battle today and it won't advance the clock to the next in-game day, though, I want Terra to have his Gym Battle with him after Nathan wraps up his business with them and goes of to prepare themselves for the trials ahead.

That's all fine, and I am just going to treat Angela as diceless. I may have said otherwise in the past, but I'd prefer diceless now.

Dragonstrike, you are still clear for your dice battle.

Okay! If you don't want dice, I am willing to go without them too! Be good practice for me writing wise to do without them in making battle scenes and general writing.....

Off topic, how's life treating you lately, mate? Haven't heard much from you lately, beyond the play and that your pupper is doing splendidly.

Yay.  That's good, because that fight really wouldn't make much sense as a diceless one, considering the relative power levels present.  I am so looking forward to it Smile
