Also, if you could give me some more details about these facts/info OOC, I could have Ventus try to help Nathan IC craft a more cohesive hypothesis that explains things.

Yes.  He just doesn't want to bring it up directly right now because this is awkward and uncomfortable enough as is.  No need to immediately kill the mood further in a super obvious way.

Doesn't prevent the situation from being awkward as hell, of course.

As far as details go, the explanation of the hypothesis is actually fairly simple: Sarimanok's Eye was involved.  And that's a bad sign.  Really bad.

...which also means Nathan doesn't want to immediately bring that up either because that borders on the supernatural.

Nathan will be willing to talk about his theory more IC if asked, but it doesn't have to be now.  The important part was to emphasize caution because bad stuff could be happening in the deepest, darkest places of the region where no human eyes pry...and he's mentioning it to Ven and Shiva first because the two of them have the best understanding of the related events in the hypothesis should they be willing to hear Nathan out.  But trying not to trigger a meltdown from either character (due to Orthros/'magic') right away means getting the point across is proving...tricky for him.

Anyways, that's the context behind the vague IC stuff.  Make of it what you will.

Ah, I see clearly now. Yes, I believe I appreciate Nathan's vagueness now, since it means Ven won't completely flip his lid at the first explicit mentions of bad juju (which is all juju to him, including Earth Power in Non - Move form and application by non-Pokemon entities) . Much gusto, mate!

Still, he's not stupid (just mentally unbalanced to the point of be 'questionable sane'), so he'll be able to piece together things from those little details and react accordingly. It just won't be as bad since he processed and divined the answers himself. 

In any case, unless things become derailed, you don't have to worry about Ven grilling him for the details (Unless you WANT to have Nathan explain things IC). He's mainly focused on this 'vacation' , acting on his best behavoir around the military (something he pretty much has the most experience out of everyone in the group besides Terra [Terra's meet with his own regions military several times on his journies, and worked with them on contract a couple of times], so if you want IC help from him about that stuff, just ask either of them) , and trying his level best to enjoy his time with his friends , so 'distractions' are something he's not too keen on looking into or investigating unless they directly interfere with the above three goals.

Definitely want to discuss it in more detail IC later if it isn't addressed now since what I just gave ya isn't all the information (and it'll likely transition into Orthros being out and about more frequently, I hope, though that's mostly just a side effect of the discovery).  Just really wanted to emphasize 'be careful, bad stuff is probably happening somewhere, hope it isn't here, be prepared if it is' before we went to Garlicburg proper.

It might make more sense after I eventually explain the theory in full IC.  Not having the context of the whole adventure kinda kills some of the understanding.

To give you a brief explanation, though: the Eye's been present during the whole thing. It just took Nathan the entire journey to realize it.

In-chara, right? I've been anticipitating and believing that outta-chara for quite a long time outta-chara, but I much rather kept Shiva in-chara out of this whole thing because she's just not the person for such topic and it's more fun to me to concentrate on other things/activities.

Primarily IC, yes.  Both IC and OOC, I started having suspicions when the time travel arc started, but certain lategame events were what solidified them into a hypothesis.

Going to say right now that Ventus doesn't have his phone on him or any of his other tech, as he doesn't want them to be searched/frisked by the military. That's why he was sulking around the area the group was going to meet up at (if they told him/each other ahead of the time) or searching the whole general area for them and finding Shiva eventually (if they did not). So he's not going to be respond to any messages via phone or other means until after this mission is over.

And no, he doesn't own a Pokedex if any of you are wondering, so that's out for messaging. Since he's a Pokemon Researcher, he didn't feel the need the get one ever, as already knows about almost every non-Tandor and non-Delta Mon known to man. Heck, with his time spent with Dagney he probably knows about even those categories too.

Of course now that I say this I realized him trading with Nathan will be impossible without it, but I suppose Shiva could do the Round Trade required for Seadra's Evo with her Pokedex/Alamanc , or Nathan could just FLY Ventus to a Center so they can get it done quickly before heading back to the beach.
