First: This question is addressed in Choice 3's description. GM's Note at the end has a brief summary.

Second: You get to choose, but it needs to be fitting to your PC's character, and I'll have some other requirements.  Preferably, I'd like everyone's choices to be a surprise for everyone else, too. We'll likely be discussing it in more detail in private during the character creation process.

My my my, and what a reveal it is! I had a strong premonition that this would be one of the choices between our last chat and the choices Arceas would present us, but that doesn't take away the impact it of it!

.....Unfortunately, my inkling being exactly the case has pretty much automatically decided Ran's fate, as I had one planned for this outcome: He's not joining the main campaign, and is just going to return to his home world. Because he has been frankly sick and tired of this all reality encompassing cosmic disaster ever since he learnt the smallest portion of its true scale and nature, and now that his job and duty to both Ran and the Pixies/Arceas is over with Dialga purification he wants zero to do with anymore of this business. Especially if it meant he'd have to give up on his humanity and put himself through more God-Tier level supernatural Tauros shit.  He's said it himself countless times: he and others like him shouldn't have been called to do this epic task in the first place, but through Rowan pressuring him, the expectations of the Pixies, and good old fashion sense of responsibility he grit his teeth and completed it. Now that it is completed, though, and his has a choice to be free of that utterly deadly and (to him) beyond his level nonsense? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.

Simply put, he is so done with this quest, and now just want to return to his boring, quiet, but wholesome and fulfilling life as a blacksmith and occasional assistant/companion to Byron and Roark. Sure, he misses out on getting a hella lot of rewards from not doing the main game quest, and that does pain me he'll not get any, but going off his perspective all that is FAR too much plain effort and trouble for a simple blacksmith like him, no matter the already grand accomplishment of helping beating Shadow Primal Dialga rests upon him. If he previous thought that the past quest was too much, he definitely believes what Arceas requests is infinitely more so.

In sum....Ran isn't going to be a part of your next campaign Dragonstrike, as he thinks its too much for anyone , let alone him , and just wants his normal life back. Sorry mates, but that's the way the coal crumbles.

As for Kogeki himself, he actually didn't have a choice in the matter. For all his life, he thought his wife was dead. But now that he know she is alive? He is one hundred percent sure to go after her, even if that means take another form. Although it would be good go in the following campaign as a human with all my Pokemon, I can't shake this feeling of nostalgia since the ever first RPG I play in these forums was Pokemon Roleplay.

I even have a Pokemon in mind to choose.

Rest assured you will see my in Dragonstrike's next campaign, if he'll let me be a part of it. I'm far too interested and excited to be part of an actual Pokerole Mystery Dungeons campaign, and I'd hate to not continue roleplaying with your and Phantom. That, and if Iron joins in, I'd be quite curious to see how he plays and acts as a PC rather than a DM or outsider.

Oh. She was his wife. Well.....I can perfectly understand his desire to do anything to be reunited with her, and why he was so damn bitter after she vanished.

As for what character I'll be playing as in the next campaign (Again, if Dragonstrike will have me), I'll leave that surprise, as we really haven't discussed who'll take Ran's place in the group. On that note, whenever you're ready to do that, send me a PM about it, Dragonstrike mate.

I kinda have a question Dragonstrike. Will Kogeki carry his sword with him at least with him? It's a really important item? Along with the mechanical arm. It is possible to carry both or will both be leaving behind?
