That's not quite what I meant, it's more like 'Pausing that scene now and getting back to it later' instead of assuming/stating that it's been auto-cleared.

Getting back to it later tends to assume that we survived and cleared said encounter, though.  Which atm, I don't have confirmation of because we haven't cleared it yet, and are thus still in danger.

Hmm I see, that makes sense... I kinda feel it'd be easier in this situation if I were to time-jump and go on exploring the forest and the town while you keep working on the riddle with the SpiralStone, that'd be best for both parties: In short, I can progress, you have more time to think of a solution for the riddle, we both get to head down the labs together eventually.

Which means @Iron that I will progress with Shiva and describe her next Action/s.

...so breaking the rock didn't work.  And KOing (and/or capturing) all of the Lumineon didn't work either, even though they're apparently confirmed to be the source of all of this...

...

...I get that we need puzzles for this diceless content to pose any kind of challenge, but...this hardly seems like a fair challenge in context, tbh, even with the power of the Artifacts.

...

I have one more idea, with all the information we've gotten now.  However, it requires fighting the Lumineon again.  I have a plan if someone needs to take another aging sting in the process, so that shouldn't be as large of a concern the second time around (I hope).

...I REALLY don't want to try that idea unless nothing else works, though.  It's an absolute last resort, and I'm not even entirely confident it would work after what was just pulled after the first combat.

If anyone else has any other ideas for how to get out of this stupid time loop trap that's determined to kill us via old age of all things if the Poison and damage don't do so first, I'm all ears.

Just keep trying things. It's no big deal. This is the challenge to obtain DIVE, after all.

I might do less puzzles in the future though, simply because they take more time than I was planning to spend in the diceless part of this campaign.

I've got three, but have absolutely no idea whether they could do something significant as they are mere brainstorming.

My only idea to dealing with the Time DIVE Puzzle is either A) : Repeat what opened the Cave up, but this time only send in one person into it ASAP while having the others observe the cave and the Lumineon, as it's possible that the cave only 'resets' if no one on the outside is watching things and/or too many people try to claim DIVE at the same time, B) Sod the whole puzzle and leave DIVE for the fishes, as its not necessary to get it unless we want everyone on hand for the Gensect Fossil extraction, or C) Have everyone clear out of the Puzzle Area but Terra so that he can summon his Deoxys to insta gib all the Lumineon, then have it use its Plot Device powers to try and solve the puzzle.

I've never been a puzzle sort of guy, so I'm more or less lost as to what we're supposed to do in order to proceed here beyond 'everything' or 'nothing' .

Because.....well, you sorta are? Everyone besides Shiva and Ven are stuck in that time puzzle until its solved (which was a demoralizing experience in of itself), and Dragonstrike's is rather busy running his own campaign + managing his IRL time, so the only game me , Spirit, and to an extent No One can play is his.

As for Ven, I could play as him a little more around Shiva if you want some character interaction, but I'm not too sure how meaningful that'll be or if he'll actually end up causing Shiva more stress and problems due to his unique perspective on things. If you can accept either of those things, then I can try and think of some things he can do with his beloved whimsical angel.

If guys want to try and take a crack at the puzzle we're stuck in, Windos and Spirit, don't let me stop you.  I imagine you aren't any more pleased about being stuck in it than I am, after all.  The solution's probably fairly simple, even if it isn't immediately obvious.
