For those who might not have realized that Kellyn is, in fact, a canon character from Pokemon... or even those who already knew that he was the male player character from Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia... these two anime episodes might interest you!

LOL.  Which part didn't you know about, the anime?  I only discovered those episodes myself poking around Bulbapedia.  I had forgotten he was in Shadows of Almia, even though I played the game a few years ago (long enough that I didn't make the connection until I saw it mentioned on Uranium's wiki).

I didn't know you worked on the dialogue for the game, that's so cool!

Haha, I've only watched a handful of the anime episodes, so this was a total surprise to me.  I like watching these episodes in particular while hatching eggs, and watching him use the Styler (which is different than the one he uses now in-game!) has given me some plot ideas for my fic, as well as some interesting headcanons.

All of the Pokemon Ranger games were good.  Shadows of Almia is the second one in the series, and the one that features Kellyn as a playable character (although like all the Pokemon games, you name your character whatever you want).  Personally, I'd advise skipping the first one and going straight for Shadows of Almia, then Guardian Signs (mostly due to a major difference in the mechanics that the first game drove me nuts over).

There's also apparently a manga for Shadows of Almia, which I would dearly love to see if I can get my hands on a copy!

I own the first and have played the second and third, but never beat Guardian Signs iirc.  

Man, that Steelix in the first one was a nightmare to capture...I can never forget how long that fight took me to beat...

I was also fortunate enough that the copy of the original Ranger game I own still had access to its Manaphy gift.  Though I gave it to a friend because I have a way to get as many Manaphy Eggs as I want in gen 4 if I so desire
