With your ever-increasing Fire powers, you find yourself capable of seeking out Primal Arcanine, now relocated to a deep fiery cavern so large that even Moltres can fly down there.

The talking Pokemon senses that you have been working with Earthpower, especially fire, and on organizing wild Pokemon. "Heart. You've come far in ten thousand years. Your own techniques begin to rival those of the Earth and Water Scimitars who have been so muddying the Earthpower of Creshire. Are you planning your own Fire cult?"

Nathan chuckles.  He'd been expecting that kind of answer.

"It's good to see you are taking this seriously, and that you're willing to defend yourself.  Because I don't merely just want to help you survive, keep you hidden away and out of sight unless provoked.  I want to take the fight to those predators, eliminate the danger altogether.  They won't stop until they either have everything they want, or they have been defeated completely, and that is what makes the danger they pose so alarming.  They're gathering strength right now, looking for anything they can take advantage of, including beings like yourself which hold great power and potential.  They are much like other members of your species that I've seen in some ways, always looking for ways to improve themselves, steamrolling anything that gets in their way.  If you're willing to fight back, be the hunter instead of the hunted, I'd like to ask for your assistance in defeating those predators and eliminating the threat they pose.  In return, you'd have the protection of me and my allies, as well as constant sources of food and shelter, simply by traveling with us.  And if you wish to further hone your combat abilities, I'm confident I can help with that too, including teaching you how to combat these predators and protect yourself from them, for they are an enemy my allies and I have faced more times than I'd like to count.  Does that sound interesting to you at all?"

Heart when reach Primal Arcanine, he kneel in respect towards the fire guardian. "Primal Arcanine. It's been a long time, old friend. How are you doing since last time we meet?"

Thanks...The training I been though help a lot. And the training with the Earthpower sage Chorizo help me understand the nature of my powers...but I don't desire a cult."

Heart approach some part with lava and take a moment to look. "I want to create a force of good. I want to be a teacher. Show people the importance of Earthpower. Show the Scimitars that a path made with slavery and hunger for power is not right. Show them that Pokemon is not tools, but our equals."

"But...it's not the reason I here..." Heart then look at Primal Arcanine. "The one person responsible for the destruction of my clan...the one who killed my family...Nimue. She is the leader of some sort of death cult." Heart lift a hand who ignite in flames. "And she is the one for all the deaths of my family."

"She burned my family alive. I want to understand to why she did that, and make her pay for what she did. Even now, my own soul scream to have revenge and justice be done. My hatred for her it's a like a vulcan ready to consume her and everything."

"But, is this make me better than Cosh and Juliane from the Earth and Water Scimitars? Let my desire for vengeance consume everything I fought for? Let my soul corrupt me, and everything I fought to bring a new legacy for my family? That's why I came here to find you Primal Arcanine. To train with you and the other Primal Pokemon. I want to be strong. Both in body and spirit. To not create flames of hatred. But a warm heat capable of keep the ones I care and love away from the cold of solitude as I once feel. And this place is a perfect one. One connect to my element: Fire."

"Primal Arcanine. Please, accept me as your student. Teach me the ways to control the fire conflict of emotions within me." Heart kneel once more. Almost begging to the Primal Dog to help him.

Nucleon is comfortable enough not to skitter away, but just yawns in your face and sleeps a little longer. After you let her have her fill of rest, she does come out stays about two yards away from you at all times. This means if you approach, she retreats... but if you leave, she follows to maintain that two yards of distance.

She get the hang of it very quickly and is flattered that Curie doesn't skitter away from her anymore(?) - seems to have lost some of her fear? Now that went fast, yayyy!~ "That's the right attitude, my dear!", she calmly adresses the Nucleon, "There's nothing to fear from me indeed, it's sweet of you to trust me enough to not be scared away." ❤

For the current in-game Day, Shiva's gonna stay in the dorm with Curie out and around all the time; only leaving to eat at the Pokemon Center and visit the bathroom. She seems wanting to get her special Nucleon further used to her presence, just wants to be there and around while keeping a casual eye on them. It's gonna be a calm leisure day for Shiva, she's following quiet activities like reading, updating some notes of her, preparing what she wants to say/talk about/do when visiting Telperion tomorrow, look through her Creshire Cards and create new decks, sort and look through all the little collectibles she gathered during her travels, that sort of thing.

Naturally she's careful to not make a noise or do hasty movements, it's something she usually doesn't do anyway but with Curie around she's extra-mindful about this. And whenever she notices their plates with food and water being empty, she quickly refills them! And much later after dusk has already fallen and she has put on her pyjamas for the night, Shiva even tries to play a bit with Curie using a long ribbon (it's long enough that the distance of two yards is maintained)!

How's smol Nucleon behaving this morning when Shiva checks/searches for her? Upon having found her, she quietly lets them know that she'll be out today... and asks whether Curie can remember that hinted suprise Shiva's got for her?~

Genesect sidles over to you and to Terra. He brushes each of you with his rugged antennae. Then he stands partway between the two of you and readies himself for whatever is next.

"Nimue. I know that name. She is my opposite in more ways than one: she hoards rare Pokemon; she is aligned with water; she is power hungry for its own sake. We have met multiple times in our long, ancient histories."

"The best way to help you is to teach you how Fire may be used in the absence of the parts of its triangle: air, fuel, and heat. Water can deprive fire of any of these, especially heat. Enough water will also choke off the air which fire needs as badly as we do. And enough rushing water will separate fuel or drench it beyond use."

"Master this technique with me, and you will be able to use fiery Earthpower even if only two points of the triangle are present. You could create a flame with a torch in an airless cavern, or while rain has made your firewood wet, or even, in perfect conditions, without any kind of firewood. But if two parts of the triangle are missing, fire will not come to your call. Do you understand the limitations of this power? And if so, will you accept a week of my training? I can also tutor your Pokemon in Fire moves, as you already know."

By the end of the in-game Week, Nucleon would be entirely used to your presence - Loyalty +1. But it's still not a good idea to use her in battle yet.

However, she is ready for a surprise.

"Excellent.  So, to start with, I'd like to register you to a pokeball if possible, like with the rest of my pokemon companions.  It'll help me with protecting you and make it easier for me to bring you to suitable training locations."

If it's both acceptable and possible, then Nathan will register this Genesect to a Net Ball.  And given the nature of this Legend, I'm quite interested to see what its stats and movepool look like as well...

"Second, a little information about these predators.  Regrettably, they are humans like myself, ones who seek to exploit pokemon and the powers of Legendaries.  Unlike myself and my companions, however..."

Nathan holds up his right hand as an example.  "...they typically have a metal hand (Nathan will also show Genesect the metal finger he's carrying around as an example of what the material looks like), and they channel strange powers through them that are derived from the pokemon they treat as little more than tools instead of living creatures.  They typically travel in large groups and are very, very clever.  If they caught you alone, they would likely overwhelm you with numbers.  Fortunately, you aren't alone from this point on.  Should these predatory humans, known as Scimitars, ever seek to exploit your power for their gain, I shall do my best to stop them."

Nathan will then turn to Ventus and Terra while Gallade goes to fetch the Sword for Nathan.  "Well, I think that finally puts an end to that loose thread.  Anything the two of you wish to say while we're here together, though?"

"I also want to take your regimen of training with ya. After that week I might go to meet Primal Kingdra too. It will be important to meet him to train in the opposite of my element too, Water. Primal Lurantis I might meet too. If it is my fate fight Nimue, train with the Primals is unimportant for the success of my Quest."
