Platina had put up with a lot of things so far on this Quest. Impertinence from Lord Umbreon, ominous prophetic dreams from a Dragon God, the revelation that she was partners with Humans, dealing with the over eagerness and foolishness of her own team, rudeness from Madame Twintales, and fighting the very Gods themselves and other disasters incarnate. Her reactions varied in their severity and irritation, but thus far she has managed to keep herself in control and nerves steady (or regain it quickly, as was the case with Tornadous). Such was only proper and expected from an Adventurer of any kind, my less a lady like herself! So, the shiny bird has keep her temper in check, leashed her emotions, and did her level best to act professionally and with great decorum, no matter how much she was sorely tested to drop all pretenses of civility and give the foolish and impudent a real piece of her mind.
However. However. Everyone has their limits. Everyone has their sore points. And everyone has a point where their tolerance wears out.
Everything up until now? Irritating, but ultimately tolerable. If barely so.
Getting so bluntly and thoughtlessly condescended and insulted by Rhyperior, to be looked upon as a mere infant despite the respect she shown him and how she has proved herself as a competent Adventurer? Her very Pride and nature being attack so brusquely?
That was the tipping point.
.....
.....Or it would be, were it not for Kogeki to boldly make plans to possibly sacrificing himself for the greater good of the mission/group, and the rest of Team absolutely laying into him for his decision. The resulting emotionally charge scene and the spiritual shinobi's tearful gratitude towards his friends and associates just.....causes Platina to visibly deflate, as she just awkwardly stood away and shuffled around watching them all with a look of supreme discomfort and morbid interest. She was no longer on the verge of having a spectacular meltdown; honestly she didn't even know how to begin to feel about this.....moment.
Still, despite it all, the shiny bird held resentment towards Rhyperior for his callous treatment of her status, much to her shame. She very well couldn't just lash out of him in pure indignation now, given the atmosphere and her own lack of blinding anger, but she felt he deserved some pushback for his thoughtlessness none the less. He couldn't just get away with his slight, surely.
Hmm.....perhaps she could go about expressing/venting her frustration in another way? Thinking on Kogeki's own willingness to do what was needed for the team, but in a tamer manner....yes, yes, that might just work.
While the rest of the Team was busy the ironclad avian turned to face the rocky kaiju, letting out a polite cough and trying to regain her composure (to a limited degree of success).
"Well....that happened, I suppose. I didn't expect my Team to have such a.....fretful occasion, as it were. Still, it shows how willing we are to go stand with each other and ensure our prosperity, even if those measures can be a bit extreme at times. *Ahem* In light of that, I have a request to make of you, Rhyperior: please have a duel against me. A serious one. I've felt that I've been on the verge of gaining great power, and need just the tiniest push to bring me over that threshold. Which would be most helpful to have against the myraid dangers in this Mystery Dungeon, regardless of who we end up facing. Do not worry about knocking me out - I have supplies to patch me up to full health, and their loss won't significantly impact my own future performance or plans, let alone anyone else. *Bows* So please fight me, Rhyperior."
'Orders': Have Platina attempt to get a Duel/Spar with Rhyperior! If he accepts, she'll lead off with a Steel Wing to the face against Rhyperior, then try to Peck and Strike him in the eyes. All those Moves use DEX (4) + Fight (2) + Brawl (2) -2/4/6 (Remember, Pain doesn't affect her Rolls due to Keen Eye!) , and her STR is 2. If she survives a single attack from him I will be surprised! While this is a somewhat suspect thing to do in the light of what Kogeki got chewed out for, trust me when I have a good reason for picking a fight with the OP NPC guys!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

(Oh my goodness, an Insight roll to see if characters are trying to be deceiving! A rare sight! I'm going to do two rolls here to highlight a rather notable difference in methods here since a particular method was not specified. In the future though, I'd like you to specify which kind of method you're using so I know which specialty I need to roll)
Karen's Alert:
Insight + Survival + Alert
(6)(5)(6)(2) 3 Successes
Watching Roserade's current posture and paying attention to her mannerisms, Karen doesn't see any visual cues that might indicate Roserade is at all worried.
Karen's Empathy:
Insight + Contest + Empathy + 1 Ralts line
(6)(4)(1)(3)(5)(5)(6)(6*) 6 Successes(!!!)
As a Ralts, Karen is constantly exposed to the emotions of other pokemon. And unlike her visual skills, this particular ability is highly honed. Karen doesn't just pick up Roserade's emotions, but also the emotions of other pokemon in the group.
Roserade and Rhyperior are absolutely radiating confidence. They seem to have complete faith in their own abilities when Karen asked Roserade that question.
The other pokemon tagging along vary a lot.
Keldeo has an aura of defiance around him as he stares at the dark clouds overhead. It's very clear that he will do everything in his power to fight this disaster.
Dedenne and Zeraora are feeling uncertain as they ponder how to approach facing a gargantuan Ground type pokemon. Emolga as well to a degree, but less so.
Bunnelby's actually a little hard to get a read on, but Karen picks up some surprisingly calm and contemplative emotions from him. Madame Twintales is feeling very similarly as well, but with a stronger air of confidence.
Hoopa is impossible to get a read on. There seems to be a mental block in place that's preventing Karen from using her psychic abilities on them specifically.
"Yes, I'm positive we'll be fine. We'll have some very strong pokemon accompanying us to supplement our strategies, so there's no need to worry about us."
The mood briefly turns uncertain and somewhat nervous among those who heard Kogeki's suggestion following Roserade's vote of confidence, only to become feelings of relief and approval when that situation is promptly resolved.
Karen's questioning is interrupted by the sensation of another very strong feeling though. Just under the surface of Platina's polite demeanor, Karen can tell that the bird is actually very miffed at Rhyperior.
And the large rock pokemon seems to be both curious and partially annoyed at the suggestion. "You do realize what you're asking me to do, right? This isn't going to be pretty for you."
"Rhyperior, this isn't the time for..."
"No no, let the kid try and fight me. I guarantee she's going to learn something from this."
Platina gets ready to try and strike Rhyperior, but the large rock type is much faster than she'd been expecting, and he easily gets the jump on her. The sound of a snake hissing menacingly echoes through the dungeon, and unbeknownst to those present, dark shadows creep into the area to inflict some kind of effect...
Rhyperior's Strike
3 Dex + 5 Fight + 5 Brawl + 2 Single Action = 15d6
(4)(4)(3)(3)(2)(6)(5)(5)(2)(3)(4)(1)(6)(4)(3) Critical hit!
1 Pow + 7 Str - 2 Def + 2 Crit = 6d6 + 2d6
(4)(3)(3)(5)(6)(5) | (6)(2) Platina takes 5 damage and is instantly KOed!
It doesn't take long for Platina to realize that challenging a Master Rank Explorer to 1 on 1 combat was probably a mistake. He didn't even need to use his full power to completely flatten her.
Roserade frowns. "...that was rather unnecessary, Rhyperior."
The hulking rock pokemon shrugs. "You and I both know that I was going to win regardless in a straight fight."
Barely conscious, Platina can hear parts of what they're saying. And she knows there's a Tiny Reviver Seed in her bag. But why...isn't...it...?
Her vision starts to go black as she begins to lose consciousness fully. Roserade notices something is off as soon as the bird pokemon collapses.
"And instead you could have...hold on. Everyone should have healing items after we go through that Monster House. Why isn't she being revived?"
"...huh? Oh yeah, what's up with that? Hmmmm..."
Just as suddenly, the shadowy storm above intensifies further, the black lightning crackling as it streaks overhead! Platina herself starts crackling with black, shadowy energy as well...
...and her eyes suddenly snap open as her Primal instincts briefly flare! And if there's one thing that her instincts are telling her right now, it's that she's in over her head. But there's also something missing...all that anger she'd felt before...it somehow feels...less intense now. It's not gone, but she's finding it slightly more difficult to be that angry.
Platina is revived with full HP, but her Primal score goes up by 1. Because her Primal score is now 1, Platina learns Shadow Blitz! And on the condition that Platina learns a valuable lesson from this (and also learns something about this Shadow energy since this is her first real exposure to it), she also gains 3 exp.
Roserade opens her own bag and pulls out a Reviver Seed, only to find that same black, shadowy energy is now crackling across the shell of the seed. "...well, this is going to make things harder if it's doing what I think it is."
Rhyperior is more focused on Platina, kneeling down so he's closer to eye level with her, a very serious and concerned look on his face. "Hey, you okay kid? You feel funny or anything? Something weird just happened to ya when you lost consciousness."
Hoopa's thoughtfully looking up at the storm, then deeper into the dungeon. "That Sandaconda roared just before that fight. If I had to guess, it temporarily stopped the usage of your items when it did."
Almost as if to prove Hoopa's point, the shadowy energy dancing across everyone's bags and the items inside them disperses just as quickly as it arrived.
"So we're going to be fighting a foe that can briefly negate our ability to use items. That's going to be cumbersome."
"Nothing we can't handle, Roserade. If Landorus has a trick like that, though, I'm not sure they'd be able to handle it."
"And you're basing that on...what? I have full confidence that they can handle Landorus on their own if need be."
"You and I both know something's wrong on this island. I don't think sending a bunch of kids to possibly face a Legendary pokemon on their own is a good idea, especially in an environment as hostile as this one."
"And you think they stand a better chance of surviving a battle with a pokemon ten times your size? Honestly, Rhyperior, you need to think a little more..."
Zeraora suddenly inserts himself between them. "Hey, cut it out! Do you two always bicker this much?!"
Roserade appears to be a bit embarrassed about being called out. "...well, no. Okay yes. Gallade's usually the mediator in the group. Him not being here is...disruptive to how we typically operate."
Rhyperior is a bit downcast. "...yeah, already missing him. Just not the same without him, ya know? He's a downright mean fighter, too. Always seems to have an answer for anything. Don't think he can fight a Legendary solo though."
"Definitely not. Which is why we need to find him. He's not dumb. He'll try to stay out of sight, but if Landorus finds him and thinks he's trespassing...I shudder to think what might happen to him. I can't fail him as a Leader. Not now. We are nothing if we're not a team."
"Definitely want to get back to the good ol' routine of treasure hunting with him. Team Raiders leaves nobody behind."
In light of this new information that has been revealed about the upcoming fight, I am going to ask one more time: are you facing the Gigantamax Shadow Sandaconda, or letting Team Raiders and company handle it while you forge on ahead?

With her concerns assuaged, Karen is less likely to want to fight the Sandaconda, "Guys, I'm pretty sure they can handle this. That said, I'll stick with what the group says."
In respect to Platina: "Are you oh... that's not good."
(OOC: She is in favor of forging on, but will stick with the PC group should they decide to fight the Sandaconda)

In light of this new information that has been revealed about the upcoming fight, I am going to ask one more time: are you facing the Gigantamax Shadow Sandaconda, or letting Team Raiders and company handle it while you forge on ahead?
Darkness.
Deep Darkness.
The sort of Darkness that touches the soul.
For a moment Platina was stuck in that Darkness. That horrible, horrible Darkness. Briefly, sees herself in that Darkness. Starring menacingly.
Her mirror image twitched, a cold and dominating look overtaking her, and it appeared like it would do something….
...before she rose, sparing her from its plans.
Despite being fully restored the shiny raptor couldn’t help but feel a bit groggy and numb, and it takes her a moment to fully ‘wake’ herself up. She sluggishly got on her talons and just gazed at herself with a unfathomable uncertainty. What….what in the Dragon Gods names happened to her?
The Master Class Monster’s sudden concern and intrusion draws her attention away from herself, giving him the same look. Briefly, she considered putting on a polite and professional front and claim she was fine. His continued condescension was still unwelcome, and she was raised to always put on a proper face for others (to admittly various degrees of success).
However….she just….no longer couldn’t be bother to hold onto her resentment or appearances so tightly. Not in the face of genuine concern or whatever happened to her. In light of everything….such thinking or posturing was beyond appropriate anymore.
So, Platina answers Rhyperior honestly as she could.
“….No. I don’t think I am. Healthy as I appear now, something is… wrong. Something…. dark. Right now it is only making me feel….numb and disconnected from my emotions, but….I don’t yet know the full extent of what has happened to me.”
In a scant moment Platina looked scared and vulnerable, like a Pokemon her apparent age would be after Encountering something frightening or unnerving. Then it was gone as she took in a shuddering breath and heaved a big *SIGH* and look back to Rhyperior, appearing composed and resolute once more. In fact, she looked more imposing than ever, radiating a newfound sense of Dominance and Acuity.
“…Despite that, I am still able to continue and Fight. I just have to exercise more….caution and proper judgement for now on and not lose control of myself. *Sighs* ….I have been truly foolish, but at least my folly has given you some Insight into what that giant serpent is capable of, so it was not a total waste in the end. Apologies, Rhyperior.”
Platina learnt some valuable lessons today. Namely, that Pride ever goeth before the fall, learn when discretion is the better part of valor, and that she really, really shouldn’t go looking for trouble she isn’t remotely prepared to take on. That, and whatever this newfound Darkness was within her was messing with her emotions, at the very least…..
With all that said and done, at long last I am spending 50 XP to have Platina gain her 4th Point in Instinct. She can now use Moves with a XP Cost of 45 or less without paying for them, and possesses a similar sphere of authority to a Alpha – she could start her own Guild, if she wished, and Pokemon are more inclined to follow her than ever before. Whether is was worth getting it like she did though remains to be seen…
The ironclad lady didn’t react to Roserade’s and Rhyperior’s bickering – she still hasn’t gotten used to her new feelings yet (and lack thereof) to properly have a opinion on that just yet, and she already caused enough trouble for them with how she acted. Their own resolve does manage to cheer her up a bit more, as she gave both a nod.
“Agreed. Whatever my group decides to do about that serpent, we’ll be on the lookout for your partner Gallade. I know well myself the feeling of being anxious and worried missing one you hold dear….”
I already stated my opinion in the Meta Thread, but to reiterate here I am in favor of Fighting G-Max Sandaconda. Platina doesn’t feel like abandoning Team Raiders to face this menace is the right call, no matter how nervous she feels about fighting something that can just block Item usage. If the majority of the group decide to abandon fighting the snake, though, she’ll easily go along with that, having learnt what she has about not courting danger unnecessarily.

Platina's foolish challenge makes Daxter gape at her in shock, but even after her defeat and subsequent infusion of the Shadow power, Daxter still shakes his head stubbornly. "I get it, you lot are tough. I'm still not leaving you to fight the Sandaconda alone. I say we beat the Sandaconda, and then look for Gallade and Landorus."
I'm no one special. Also, here's a pupper pic:

There's a look of PLAIN HORROR in Kee's deeply-red eyes as he sees that damn shadow-y energy on the Reviver Seed Roserade pulled out. He shifted a lot closer to her to a better look on the Seed, and finds himself involuntarily snarling in anger. Double it all as that hj(*dksf#nj& energy moves onwards to infest all his Items! All the precious Items, all the loot and figurative safety nets he gathered, in vain!!1
He throws a glance over to the BigSnek, lets it rest on them for a bit, before adressing R& R: " Ya know, if ya people are absolutely confident that ya'll be able t'manage Sandaconda... Then I much rather sneak past 'em, avoid 'em, see if Gallade - or Landorus, whoever we stumble 'pon first - is further down da path. Prefering to, uh, save up my stuff and Seeds for the BIG fight there - heck knows what Lando may or may nat have done t'yar precious leader if they got a hand on 'em -" Kee shivers a little at that thought, "so we better find' em FAST."
"Do promise that ya'll catch up on us AS SOON AS EVEN POSSIBLE, alright? Do make sure that ya're NOT overstrainin' yourselves, k? Stay and play it SAFE, pretty please? Do promise me that, in da name of Delphox's Guild." There's a certain sadness in these words of Kee, sort of a deep melancholy that he does not understand where it stems from. As well as high levels of anxiety that he ties to it and the dire situation. It's entirerly obvious that spliting up here is FAR from what he wants to do, but it's - as much as he dislikes it - a necessity in this special case.

Gonna keep brief the post so we can continue our path:
1 - Kogeki was a bit...worried in Platina challenge Rhyperior, since he is very keen to see the comparison of power. Not to mention it's not the type in fight among us. However, as a warrior himself he decided to respect the choice of Platina and let her do the challenge. Which turns out to be a mistake, since he see the darkness take hold on Platina body. And just like Kogeki, Platina became closer to a Shadow Pokemon.
2 - He also notices the item she was carry didn't work, which makes things terrible. With items, the battles would be already be difficult. But without them? No. They can't afford such disadvantage, even more with the danger in turn into Primal state. Specially since Platina and Kogeki are in such perilous situation.
3 - He nods at Kee suggestion. "Agreed. There are battles to fight, and there battles to run away. Right now, this is a battle to run away. Without items use, this is already a perilous fight. And we must save our strength against Landorus. Let's go!"
And that's it. Let's run away from this battle. Items block suck.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

"Let us handle distracting the Sandaconda. You all focus on slipping past it."
"Hmph. Alright then. Don't go getting yourselves badly hurt, ya hear?"
Teams Omega Seekers and Night Wardens, accompanied by Braixen and Hoopa, split off from the rest of the group and wait for a signal while they wait just out of Sandaconda's line of sight.
It doesn't take very long for the signal to come. Sandaconda bellows at the large group of pokemon approaching it from the opposite direction! The two teams move as swiftly and quietly as they can while Sandaconda's back is turned. They see a flurry of leaves batter Sandaconda, only for the snake to spit up a massive quantity of sand that fills the air in response, starting a Sandstorm. As irritating as the sand and reduced visibility is though, it helps the party sneak past, undetected by the gigantic snake. It doesn't take them long to reach the exit of this floor...
Seasonal Shrine
After sneaking past Sandaconda, the group reaches a location deep in the forests of the Island of Storms. Four large rocks stand tall in a clearing, each with different symbols and glowing runes adorning them. One glows yellow with crackling electricity. Another a soft blue surrounded by frigid air. One completely dull and unreactive. And the fourth radiates a sinister aura, the shadows around it seeming to be darker than they should.
Standing in the middle of the clearing is a lone Gallade, standing firm and scanning the room, as if looking for something.
He notices the party soon after they enter the clearing, his psychic senses picking up the presence of another Ralts in the area. Karen and Kogeki can also feel the presence of an aura around Gallade. A determination.
Gallade's words are brief. "...stay back. Something's coming."
And they're followed by a low growl from the treeline, and two glowing eyes. Gallade tenses up, readying himself.
Immediate Danger: Oh No! - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of T/D/S
Mere moments later, a large, orange feline pokemon pounces, roaring at the intruder in the circle of stones! Gallade rolls to the side to dodge the pounce and swings a bladed arm at the attacker, only for the blow to meet a barrier surrounding the large cat, having no effect. Dark, shadowy energy swirls around the pokemon as the black storm overhead continues to rage! Black lightning streaks through the sky, the storm seeming to intensify as the corrupted Therian Landorus roars!

VS Shadow Therian Landorus Intiatives
Gallade: (4)+10 = 14
Shadow Therian Landorus: (5)+7 = 12
Platina: (5)+7 = 12
Daxter: (5)+7 = 12
Rolycoly: (6)+6 = 12
Rowlet: (6)+5 = 11
Braixen/Sheena: (4)+6 = 10
Kee: (5)+5 = 10
Karen: (6)+3 = 9
Kogeki: (3)+5 = 8
Snom: (3)+5 = 8
Hoopa: (1)+5 = 6
There isn't much time for conversation as Landorus strikes the ground with a paw, causing dust particles and sand to swirl around it, mingling with the shadowy energy protecting it! Landorus is protected by a shroud of shadows and sand!
The sand doesn't stop swirling there though. Four large pillars of rock that could be used as cover rise from the disrupted ground, dislodging more sand that continues to float towards Landorus, who's glaring at the intruders mercilessly. Not a single word is said by the Shadowed Legendary pokemon, and their concentration on unleashing this attack is clearly absolute.
Hoopa whistles. "Hoo wee, he's a big one, isn't he? Looks like he's preparing a big attack, too! Reminds me a little of what Tornadus and Thundurus were doing just before we beat them."
Braixen/Sheena stares defiantly at Landorus. "I don't know what's gotten into you, but I do know one thing: I didn't come all this way for nothing! You're going down, Landorus!"
Gallade doesn't take his eyes off of the large Ground type as he offers advice. "Think about this strategically. Try to avoid taking unnecessary damage. You'll have my blades if we can get through that barrier."
VS Shadow Therian Landorus Round 1
Landorus's Intimidate reduces everyone's Strength by 1!
Kogeki's Anticipation does not trigger.

Kogeki more than ever is focus. With his weapon on hand, he could see how powerfull trully is Landorus. And he could feel in his bones the level of power this being have. This being is powerfull as Tornadus, if not more powerfull. Kogeki should feel fear.
And he feel fear.
But...he also feel something else: Bravery. For his companions, he must fight. He grab the feather Tornadus gave to his team. He doesnt know how it can be used to summon Tornadus or if that is a good thing. Or if the genie of Love can hear...He decided to trust in his blade. He close his eyes, and make a prayer to grant him strengh in battle:
海の恵み (Umi no megumi)
砂の祝福 (suna no megumi)
そして嵐の祝福 (Soshite arashi no shukufuku)
私の呼びかけを聞いてください (Watashi no yobikake o kiitekudasai)
我が刃によって神々は堕落するだろう (Waga ha ni yotte kamigami wa daraku surudarou)
ああ、愛と憎しみの神よ。 ああ、嵐の神よ (Ā, ai to nikushimi no kamiyo. Ā, arashi no kamiyo)
大地を支配する者を滅ぼす力を我が刃に与えよ! (Daichi o shihai suru mono o horobosu chikara o waga ha ni ataeyo!)
After saying such words, Kogeki go forward, using his speed to close gaps between his hateful enemy. He shout towards Gallade.
"Gallade! I will try to get his attention! I will try to open his guard for you to attack him!" Using his speed, Kogeki jump from Pillar to Pillar, using his speed to get Landorus attention focus to his companions try to deal any damage on him. He gonna use one of the tricks ninja usually use: Deception and distraction!
Using Quick Attack he increase his already great speed to a much greater effort, jump from one place to another, always making sure he is close to Landorus face, and diverge his attention to the little Riolu. And to make things easier to increase distances, Kogeki been using Shadow Punch, using the kinetic impact to close the gaps. Yes, it is a dangerous task, even more a tiny not-evolved Pokemon, against such powerfull Legendary Behemoth like Landorus.
To increase the chances in keep the distraction, Kogeki make use of one move he doesnt normally use, but have the same "quick" energy of Quick Attack: Feint. Although not as strong as Quick Attack, Feint acomplish the job in be another Priority Move. According to the description:

So Feint I suppose it can work in the "distract" plan Landorus. I might need a clarification from @Dragonstrike, so if this doesnt go as planned, I will change the post.
Edit 2: Phantom suggest a single action Feint. So let's go with that plan since I truly out of ideas.
Single Action Feint: Dex(3)+Fight(3)+Brawl(2)+Single Action (2)=10D6
Damage: STR(3)+POWER(1) = 4d6
EFFECT: Priority move. Hopefully it will get Landorus attention by having a "bug" dare to hit him.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.
