Given that this is a forum dedicated to one particular Pokémon fangame, I find it odd that someone is attempting to advertise and work on their games here of all places.

Still, it would behoove me to stifle any creative endeavor, so all I can say is good luck, and happy coding~!

I mean the subtitle to this subforum is "Are you making your own Fangame? Let everyone know about it here!", and insofar as I can tell he meets the criteria so it isn't strange.

Its not the fact the they are making fangames that is strange, its that they are trying to make and promote a Pokémon fangame in a forum centered around a Pokémon fangame. One that is incomplete (somewhat) at that, so any aspiring game creators could just offer to help out fixing this game to make a favorite of their better, instead of trying to create a new one whole cloath (assuming the dev team is accepting anymore help).

I'd call it somewhat counterproductive to advertise another Pokémon fangame here, even, since a person likely came and joined this forum for Uranium, not for some other incomplete project. Now, I am not discouraging their attempts to make a fangame, nor am I against their ideas about it. I just find it odd, is all...

Well, Windos dear, you have all rights to have an opinion about that, in fact it's honorable to have one at all and don't just follow what others say without thinking about that, but I think it's not wrong to join here and ask for feedback or help with the FanGame BluePhoenix's creating.

Now what I actually wanted to say, I've looked through the Elempasdex, and there are some pretty interesting type combinations to find, what I like. Also, I really like the description of the starters as well as them being a dual type, my favorite is the Grass crow. If I had a good skill on designing Fake- or Fanmon and would have the time to do so, I'd be in. Sadly, I personally lack both. -_-

The Pokemon fangame community has always reached out from one fangame to another. People who like Uranium are quite likely to enjoy any fangame (especially one of comparable quality.)

It's definitely not against the rules, and I don't think it detracts from the Uranium-centered community. If it starts to be otherwise, we'll make rule changes.

I never said I was against giving feedback to them, only that it felt weird they were asking it here of all places. Ah well, General Iron will be said, so I will let the matter rest.

Okay, I've reviewed your moves and abilities to see what is IMO, broken or needs fixing. Anything not listed below is okay. I also puts jokes in because I do that. Suggested changes are in italics.

And just as a final note, I hope you're good at coding because most of the abilities probably require good ASM knowledge. If you really can do all this, then great, have at it!

Cataclyptic, I'm very passionate about my project and I'll do any to get these new moves in and functioning as intended. Smile

Only thing I have to ask about is where did you find a grass, crow?

Uh, actually it's Herbraven... it's the Grass starters base form, and given its name I thought it's either a raven or a crow...

I always wonder what people visualize when they read about a pokemon they can't see. I try my best to avoid misunderstandings by adding body shapes, even though there is no artwork. But a few things to hint at would be that herbraven is bi-pedal and wingless and resembles a Native American warrior

I tried picturing Herbraven as a crow myself for a moment, but I couldn't piece that image together.

On another note, what is everyone's here favorite new Pokemon from MindXMatter

Currently my favorite is the fire starter, if only because fire/fairy is an awesome typing and I'm a sucker for phoenixes. However, this is also just because there aren't any pictures for your pokemon, which you should correct soon in order to get people interested.

I mean the original purpose of this thread was in part to find a really good artist show that there will eventually be artwork for this up and coming game.
